I was furious with Ford and told my entire family and friends. I'm done with Ford and will never buy another one. Very bad experience. They kept saying "Oh, we have to wait for the warranty guy to answer." Really??? 4.5 weeks? That was in July. Earlier, in winter/spring, it was already in the shop for 3 weeks. So in total my truck spent 7.5 weeks in the shop, and I still had to keep making the monthly payments while not being able to drive it for 2.5 months. That's complete bullshit! I don't trust Germaine at all. I already posted about this on Facebook and gave them a bad name. I'm done with all of you and I've given up being a Ford fan after 30 years. This is the worst, most expensive truck I've ever bought. I wish I could take it back. Fords nowadays are garbage -- built with plastic and tinfoil, nothing like the old ones. I'm a Toyota fan now. Why? Because my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is still running with no problems at all, and all the parts are still original. It's the most honest and trustworthy car I've ever driven. From now on I will only buy Toyotas. My first and second F-150s were garbage. Bye, Ford.

I made an online appointment for this morning to have two recalls fixed and also have diagnostics…read moreran on two warning lights. It was a 45 minute drive one way, and when I arrived, I was told that this appointment was to drop off the car and that they would need at least two weeks to have it diagnosed. Their website said NOTHING about this when I specified what the appointment was for. I was told that the website would have to be updated daily to show accurate wait times. Someone is being paid to maintain this website, so WHY DON'T THEY DO THEIR JOB? WHY DON'T YOU HIRE ENOUGH TECHNICIANS SO YOU CAN SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS? WHY DON'T YOU HAVE ANY CONSIDERATION FOR YOUR CUSTOMER'S TIME? How can they expect someone to leave their car for weeks at a time, especially with no warning when the appointment is made? I will NOT return to this dealership and I will NOT buy another Hyundai (this was the second new one I have had). Schedule an appointment at your own risk.......

From Jeremy! I am researching the issue on the pricing now,…read moreI don't know exactly if the lender charged fee for purchase of the contract, Adam is in a delivery now....on the recap it showed we lost $1600 so I know we might have failed in explanation but certainly didn't fail in intention! Will call when I know more, and I am so sorry that you are frustrated right now, I worked really hard to be helpful and feel like I failed you and it is not at all how I want you to perceive the experience! I have spent my life trying to solve problems and help people, so regardless of why you are feeling upset I accept 100% responsible and if I/we owe something then I will make it right! Me:I appreciate your help in this matter Jeremy:I just called capital one as Adam has been very busy with deliveries.....the difference in price was in fact caused by the bank fee BUT I think I can get some help from the GM to make things right! He absolutely wants me to make things good with you as he seemed upset when he saw the google review Me:Thank you Jeremy:Hey, I am meeting with the GM today and from what I have researched nothing was done to harm or modify the transaction, however I want you to be happy, so please give me some direction on how to proceed. What will make you happy (that I can accomplish) and earn us a good survey and better google review :)? Me:sent online pics of price will not allow me to attach. This is what my starting cost should have been. 27,924.00 & it was not. Jeremy:No the price after all incentives and discounts should be that plus the fee the bank charged for financing the vehicle. That is kind of why I am confused as to what we can do to make things right. From what I saw had the car been financed with WPCU it would have been sold for 29674-1750 rebate, the difference in the price charged is the fee capital one charged Me:Minus the DEALER discount of $2,576 Jeremy:No, the dealer discount is off the msrp....that is how we get to  $29,674 Msrp 32250 Minus 2576 Equals 29674 Minus 1750 rebate Equals the price advertised Only difference is we charged 29674 plus 1290 bank processing fee 30,694 We are saying the same thing the unit should be 29674 minus rebates and it was but the bank charges a fee and that was added to the structure Me:No we're not. I'm saying that the starting cost with rebates before we get to bank costs should be 27,924. No where is that reflected! You only reference the 1750 discount not the 2576 as well. Never again!!!!!! Buyer beware!!! 1 week after closing the deal on my vehicle. My Bluelink is still not working and Bluelink just keeps saying that the modem is not functioning properly. We will get back to you in 5-7 business days with an update.

They contacted me immediately and set up an appt for next day for estimate... thought that was great. They gave me an repair appt on Nov 10 about 2 weeks later...also OK. Brought it in and never heard a thing for weeks and when I called the very nice women at the service dept desk told me how much work it takes to do the job and it was taking a bit.... hmmm. Then on Nov 28 I got an updated cost estimate --- they obviously never touched the car from Nov 10 to 28th. I called again to get an update and got another excuse about how hard this was to fix because the doors had to be removed... it was scratch and dent, no parts.... anyway... finally got the call to pick up car on Fri Dec 12, 5 weeks after drop off. Even taking into account Thanksgiving, this was excessive time to keep the vehicle for just scratch and dent repair. They could have had me bring it in later, closer to when they could fix.... so it was my fault that I did not do a good enough review of their history... Beware if you can"t afford to wait many weeks... they did a good job on the repair I do have to say... And to add insult to injury, since it sat un-driven for 5 weeks in the fringed cold, the day after I got it back the battery died.

This last episode started when I took a 2 year old leased vehicle in for scheduled service (oil change/tire rotation). Like in a bad commercial, they tell me that my vehicle needs thousands of dollars worth of work that had nothing to do with the oil change. What it amounts to is the technician drained the oil to do the oil change and forgot to fill it before he drove my car without oil. Once he realized what he had done, he lied to try and cover his tracks. First it was a known recall issue, then it was an issue that had to be escalated to technical support. Then I was told they only had so many technicians and they make more off of customer pay so since my vehicle was warrantly work, it's not considered an urgent concern. I will NEVER recommend Jeff Schmitt nor will I recommend Mazda. Oh, the best part? A 2-year-old vehicle that went in for an oil change and they won't buy me out of my last four months because they screwed my vehicle up and are absolute crooks. They've had my vehicle for almost two months with no ETR, but yet I'm still paying for a vehicle I can't drive I'm contacting the BBB as well as the Bureau of Consumer Affairs. Someone needs to know what kind of business Jay Schmitt is allowing to be ran out of his dealerships!

You know - If you look at previous reviews that are from 6 months to 1 year apart, you HAVE to take…read morethem with "a grain of salt". Most HAPPY customers DON'T write reviews. It's called "negative review bias" (look it up.). Negative customer experiences are TEN times more apt to "dis" a business. I know. I OWN a business myself! That's why it's SO easy to see a business drop from a 5-star rating to the basement level. Anyway, our Schmitt Mazda salesman, AUSTIN BEAVER, was phenomenal and made every effort to secure the best "deal" for our now "new to us" pre-owned Mazda CX5. While it is truly a "seller's market" at this time for this particular vehicle (high demand!), Austin did all he could to get us rolling -fairly- in this fantastic car. They even took our "crippled" trade-in at a very reasonable value! Another feather in the cap for a highly rated brand! Want a Mazda? Jeff Schmitt is THE place to start. Then, shop around if you'd like. You'll be back. WE did! Oh, then when after you drive off in your shiny new-or-used car, change the statistics and write them a GOOD review. Happy driving!
