We booked a 6 hour trip for 8 people (5 adults and three boys who are 17, 17 and 15) on the 46' boat and it was very nice. Took an hour to get to the fishing spot and after we had caught nine fish (everyone in our party reeled at least one in) we headed back early because we had some seasick people and it was raining. They filleted the fish we asked for and we ate them for dinner. Even with our choice to cut it short, it was still a great experience and would highly recommend them!

There was a group of 6 total on our boat which was nice as it wasn't crowded and everyone could catch at least 1 fish. The crew work really hard to catch fish and make sure everyone is having fun. They are very knowledgeable about dishing and you can tell they know what they're doing. They filleted the fish on the way back to the marina for us but unfortunately none of the restaurants at our resort would cook it for us as some other resorts will. Will definitely fish with them during future visits.

It was strange that they didn't have black iced coffee at this Starbucks. The check in office was spacious, process was fast and easy. Hubby booked our tour from a third party so he just paid fees for dock tax and snorkeling on site. Our private transportation got us here a bit early so we walked around and took some photos of this beautiful marina and ocean. They even had a massage parlor on the little beach. We were there in the afternoon so most people were already out at sea. There was barely any other people at the marina and it was so nice & quiet which is always what I prefer. I recommend book a tour here whenever you visit Cancun. Caribbean Sea is so beautiful and snorkeling gets you to tour the reefs and tropical fish even underground museum. Or just some sailing at sea is relaxing enough to have a very good time for a couple hours or even a day!

Also it was empty, there were only 2 other people eating at the bar. We were seated right away, and we had a very nice table right near the dock. I started with a lime margarita, and we ordered all our food at once. There was too much we wanted to try so we ordered extra to have leftovers. My wife got the Ensalada oriental salad, she said it was excellent. The tempura tacos were very good, the fish tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The only complaint and I'm nitpicking was there was not much added flavor. Unless you added the tar tar sauce, you tasted the fish and fillings added. Which by themselves were very good. Next we tried the octopus, I prefer squid to octopus but the wife loves octopus. This was very good, it was chargrilled which made it less chewy the usual, so I really enjoyed it. It came with a yellow sauce that the waitress said was spicy. But I didn't find it spicy, in fact it really had little to no flavor. So I could take it or leave it. Finally we had the shrimp pizza, seemed like a crazy combo, however it was very good. It is a thinner pizza so it was crispy, the flavors all worked well. I'm glad we had the rest to take back to the air b n b for lunch the next day. While we were eating someone started shooting fireworks off of the water. So that was an added bonus. The weather was perfect, the food was great. I finished the dinner with a passion fruit margarita. It was very tasty, the only part I didn't like was the end where alot of seeds would get sucked up. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves, if time permits and there is nowhere else we don't want to try before leaving. I would definitely come back. If I could I'd go 4.5 stars, but as that is not an option I went 4.

He was very descriptive in the pre-dive profile discussion, and everything went very smoothly. There was a pretty good current that day, and they weren't easy dives by any means, so he led us into deeper spots between the coral a few times when he sensed we were all needing a 30 second breather out of the current. We saw a beautiful 7-foot Eagle Ray, just hanging in the water column so we could inspect him. What a beautiful animal! It was estimated to be around 1200 lbs. I had no idea! Lionfish, stonefish, lobster, and many other large schools of fish. It was awesome!

Absolutely horrible experience…read more I had booked a private transfer from Cancun to Playa Mujeres. I arrived and there was nobody waiting for me. I therefore had to use my phone in Mexico (something I was not planning on doing) to contact the Tour Operator. I was told there was an issue with the reservation getting into their system and to hold on. After about 20 minutes they told me that it would be at least an hour before they could get anyone to me. That they would cancel this trip and issue me a refund and that I could find a Taxi. Obviously I would not use this company to return to the airport and booked with a different company. Now, had this company wanted to even attempt to make things right, they should have informed me to book a taxi, and they would pay for that taxi. The trip I booked via Viator was $118. The Taxi Cost me about $147 for one way and the return trip with a different company was $75. So, essentially this company could have offered to pay for the taxi (they would not have had to pay for the cost of their driver or their transportation). So, for maybe an out of pocket expense to them of under $100 they could have maybe had a little better review. But, I did request and get a refund. The company responded to me, "We apologize, there was indeed an error in the automated system entry; however, we have approved 100% of the refund. We regret the inconvenience and remain at your service. Best regards!" User beware if you are using this company.

What an unforgettable day on the water!…read more I contacted Captain Travis yesterday after my son looked at me and said, "Dad, I want to go fishing and catch a Mahi Mahi!" Travis was incredibly responsive and let us know he had one charter left for the next day--we booked it immediately. The trip to the marina was easy, and we met up with our awesome crew, Captain Alex and Juan, aboard the Nuj Kay. My little boy was buzzing with excitement, dreaming of reeling in a big Mahi. As a fisherman myself, I tried to temper his expectations--after all, the ocean doesn't always cooperate. But within minutes of the first bait hitting the water, bam! We were hooked up--on two Mahi! They also provided two meals, the first one was pastries and beverages (water, soda, hot chocolate, and coffee) and the last one was a full on buffet spread (salad, cheese, meats, bread, water, soda and beer). Very good operator We are experienced fishermen ( husband…read moreand wife. Fish California, Baja, Fla, and Exuma/ Bahamas) but first time in this fishery The Operation: Captains are knowledgeable , helpful, good language skills and know the waters. Boats are Hellsbay 17's so that speaks for itself. This is a light tackle fishery and the gear is ample. Sandwiches for lunch were good and plenty of water , soda Gatorade etc. Plenty of bait casting options on board , good tackle selection designed for success here. Martin the owner runs a good operation and absolutely no issues. The fishery: Nothing to do with the operator but if you wanna be successful here you have to be willing to cast plastics / artificials all day. Certainly the captains can do the fishing and hand you a fish-on rod but it wont be as much fun. Gotta be persistent and patient here and work it. The lagoon and inlets are very pretty with some good variation in depths and "pockets" and if you like inshore fishing we recommend it. We had a very good day in tough conditions windy , winter etc and caught multiple snook , multiple bonefish , a permit and some other by-catch. I was amazed at the quantity and quality. Very unexpected considering the time of year and conditions. A big credit to the operator. Our captain Mauricio knows his spots and which swim baits / lures will hit. I would say if you have not done inshore fishing a lot just tell the captain the truth and let him coach u up some before hitting their spots. It's worth the 10 minutes to let him know and teach u the gear, casting and retrieving basics. We didn't need that but clearly they can see who has experience and who doesn't. Don't be afraid to ask and be honest..they want you to be successful. Full credit to the operator for having that kind of captains in their boats. A recommend for sure
