I am so glad we asked our waitress what her favorite item on the menu was - the coconut shrimp. It. was. delicious. The shrimps were seated on curry-like paste surrounded by a bright and refreshing sea of sauce. I was very impressed by the flavor combination. I left Cancun a week ago and I am still thinking about that dish. Otherwise, the oysters were fresh and not salty. The ahi from the poke bowl was tender and melted in my mouth. However, they paled in comparison to the coconut shrimp dish. Our waitress was nice, but mostly left us alone after taking our order. The view was nice, the atmosphere was relaxed, good vibes. Get the coconut shrimp!!

This was my favorite spot in Cancun! I came here multiple times during my trip. The service was amazing and the views are beautiful. The food was some of the best food I had while I was in Mexico. My favorite was their octopus dish. Their seafood tasted super fresh. The drinks were delicious. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by!

We loved our meal. We went to there for lunch and dinner last day before we leave. The seafood was fresh and the cooking technique was good. The price for dishes are reasonable. The drink is a little pricey. The taste was authentic. I liked the grilled octopus with Mano/spicy sauce, crab meat with wonton pasta and the count shrimp with sweet mango sauce. The view is nice and the place has a good atmosphere. The server is nice. The ceviche and poke bowl are too sour in my taste. But that is the local taste I believe . We are picky and frugal Chinese people. This place is good for the value of your money.

Excellent views here really. I was double teamed by the servers, no complaints there. Food & drinks were delectable. Good for a date night or casual hanging out. Looks like the ferry can be boarded right there as well.

Found this place while staying at a resort nearby and wanted some fresh seafood & a view. Walking to this place was a little difficult and at 3pm it seemed abandoned on a Saturday afternoon. Fortunately for us, Arnold helped us get a huge lobster, ceviche, grilled shrimp snd a shrimp cocktail. Amazing chef and great staff. So glad we experienced this in Cancun

I absolutely loved this place so much !!! The food, the service, the drinks and view all made it an amazing dinner. I would for sure return to this restaurant.

We wanted a change from the buffet at our resort and took a 3 minute walk to Sirenas. There was a slight breeze with an adorable cabana and live music. We had no clue how big the portions were but WOW! I'm also vegetarian and had plenty of options. The staff were all so friendly and incredibly attentive - Johnny in particular was the best. Wish we had longer to stay to come back - def a highlight of our trip!

Flank steak fajitas- the habanera salsa paired with this was outstanding.

While honeymooning in Cancun, my husband and I stumbled across Sirenas since it is very close to the hotel we stayed at. We are so happy we did! To start, the service was great. Rogelio was very welcoming and treated us well. The food was outstanding- flavorful and the portions exceeded our expectations. We were so happy to find somewhere delicious to eat after being disappointed in the food at our hotel. We ate here 2 out of the 4 days we were there. The drinks are great as well- we got strawberry margaritas and the tajin on the rim was the perfect touch. The view from the restaurant is fun, it is situated right near the port for the Jolly Roger and ferry to Isla Mujeres so the boat traffic is entertaining to watch. If you're looking for Mexican cuisine that won't disappoint, accompanied by great service and a great location, give Sirenas a try. We can't wait to come back next time we travel to Cancun.

Michelle and Aleza are both thoughtful, kind, and warm. They genuinely listen to your ideas and work to go the extra mile to make sure your vision is realized. At points where my husband and I were struggling to make decisions, they figured out how to get us extra time but were also clear when there wasn't wiggle room. Additionally, as locals to Playa del Carmen, they know the Cancun and Riviera Maya region inside and out, so they have access to the best and most reliable vendors. In the end, we had three nights of events across two hotels. All the logistics went off without a hitch. I'd highly recommend using My Perfect Wedding. They'll make any Mexico wedding a dream-come-true!

From our very first planning visit to Banyan Tree in March, through countless Zoom calls coordinating vendors and contracts, Michelle kept us calm and reassured us that any idea we had was possible. The ceremony felt magical and we're still hearing rave reviews about all of the details. We couldn't have pulled off this weekend without Michelle's guidance and resourcefulness. Even when the weather forced last-minute venue relocations--and we made last-minute changes to the tabletop--Michelle and her staff handled everything seamlessly. They never missed a beat, and went above and beyond to accommodate our (admittedly high-maintenance!) requests. Our family and guests enjoyed a truly enchanting weekend, and it was the storybook wedding we always dreamed of. We are beyond grateful to Michelle for giving us the most 'perfect wedding year.' We highly recommend My Perfect Wedding to anyone seeking a stress-free, personalized, and unforgettable wedding experience!

I recently took my entire family to Mexico for me and my husband's wedding, and 22 of us stayed in a beautiful villa and had Mendieta's recommended to us for catering Thanksgiving dinner. Our concierge gave us a list of 3-4 catered, but highly recommended Mendieta's, so we booked them. I had no idea just how big of a treat it would be to have Chef Maria, her husband and her team prepare our holiday dinner. I thought it would just be the food but it was so much more! They brought beautiful, Mexican table decor and place settings to make the dinner feel like a lush event. The details were everything! I also gave them a list of food allergies/restrictions and I was so glad that they happily accommodated all of them! And the food still tasted amazing! Now, on to the food -- simply incredible and delicious! They prepared it at our villa (it 'took them only 2 hours to get food on the table, which is amazing for the number of people we had!). We had their Real Mexican menu, which was family style, and included elote (corn), braised beef tacos, fish and rice, guacamole, salsas, and several other items that tasted delicious! A big plus for me was how pleasant and loving Chef Maria and the entire Mendieta's team was. They served us dinner, poured the wine we bought at the local store (all throughout the night), and gave us shots to celebrate the festive occasion! They also arranged the dining room tables and used tables from other parts of the house to set everything up so that all 22 of us could eat together. Man, what a treat! Their pricing is SO reasonable, and they also have menus for kids, as well as discounted prices of the adult menu for children. I'm OVER THE MOON with them and will definitely be back to have them cater our next trip to Mexico! Last thing - Chef Maria helped me pick the menu and was so lovely in all of our texts to help me mommy arrange everything and get the final details done. That was a huge relief since our wedding was that same weekend and my head couldn't take anymore planning! They worked so hard and were such great people...I couldn't have asked for more. My friends who stopped by for dinner said it was their favorite part of the entire trip - other than our wedding. Thank you Mendieta's!!!

We did make a reservation, although the space was surprisingly empty at 7pm. We do know we came as the season is winding down, but for how good this food is, this place should always be packed. Our waitress was delightful - attentive, helped to explain every dish and the dishes all came out quickly but nothing felt rushed. The vibe is very jungle chic with open air seating, slightly covered by large leaf structures. Lots of candles and mood lighting. The menu offered quite the diverse selection of food options with a focus on traditional but elevated Mexican flavors. We started with some signature cocktails - my husband the mustachio whiskey drink and I had the wildfire. Both were perfectly mixed with great flavors. I will note the wildfire was more tart than spiced and did come with a fun flame element (sadly no pic). Also of note, the passionfruit that is used in this drink is a local fruit that is far more tart than other passionfruit you may have experienced. If you like a tart refreshing drink, this is your pick. We shared many dishes - the first was the pork rind with street corn dip. WOW. The pork rind seasoning was absolutely delicious and the serving size of street corn was epic. So rich, so delicious. We also shared the fried avocado - truly, the local avocados are heaven sent and the pumpkin seed purée was perfectly developed and spiced. Next up, larger dishes included the corn ravioli - this was so rich, and swimming in delicious truffle flavor. The raviolis were huge and there were 6 of them. The foam and nest elements while very pretty were also equally delicious. Not something that I often say when it comes to foam on plates. Finally, we had the shrimp main - I cannot put into words how amazing this dish was. The sauce was spicy, garlicky, and clearly developed over many hours. You could taste the time put into this. The shrimp were so tender the heads and tails just fell off. It comes with a side of bread and you will want to soak up every drop of this sauce with the toasted bread. If you are looking for elevated local flavors that have been carefully and meticulously curated then you must have a meal at WILD.
