Meh. There was nothing terrible about Le Crepe Chignon, it was just not great either. Came here for…read morebreakfast and ordered: - Mushroom and Brie Omelette: While it was cute they shaped the omellete into a heart, that also made the omelette really small. There also wasn't a whole lot of mushroom, but the brie cheese was oozing so that was good. - Crepe with Shrimp: The crepe itself was super crispy and a bit tough to cut, which was disappointing. The shrimp filling was tasty. - Chocllste Crepe: Soooo much chocolate, which I loved. Unfortunately, they added a cheese sauce into the crepe which didn't really go with the chocolate and made it taste weird. - Choco Maya: Thick and tasty hot chocolate. Yum! Good location, friendly service albeit a bit slow. Not as deal breaker though. The main disappointment was really with the crepes - was hoping for more and didn't quite get it.

Kids had Nutella crepes it was too chocolaty for them but they enjoyed the cute presentation! They asked for strawberry on the side but it wasn't fresh strawberries it was more of a compote. Their house smoothie is very refreshing! Over all we really enjoyed the breakfast we had here! If you are in Rimouski it's worth a visit

You don't want to be let down with mediocre or sub mediocrity in terms of food. This place really hit the mark. Like a total home run! Firstly it's a cracking good bakery with fresh artisanal bread. Secondly they do very high quality coffee. Thirdly they have sandwiches, soup and other great lunch items. My lunch I selected a seafood soup. It was rich, not salty and deliciously home made. Also as my ancestors must have come from the sea I had a Gaspesian smoked mackerel sandwich. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had in quite some time. Like blew my mind how good it was. It was tiny morsels of smoked fresh fish, thin apple slices. Shredded cabbage and a very nice light dressing. Holy macaroni it was amazing. I'd never think I'd have a smoked mackerel sandwich but I may try to replicate it at home. To round off the meal I ordered a capucinno and it was totally on point. Creamy. Piping hot and strong yet not bitter. To bring back to the grand ville I brought back two loaves of bread. Crispy, crunchy and soft in the centre. You would think a cafe like this would be in the Mille end Montreal or on Ave McGuire in QC or in SOHO in NYC but it's wonderfully amazing! When I Think of the options of coming here or eating at a place like St Hubert it's clear in my mind where I'd rather spend my money!

Service was really good, location and parking easy. Food is average. Portion is okay. The pasta…read moresauce is too watery. It'll be better if it's more creamy. The pasta is slightly over cooked, too soft, I like it harder. The salad is good the seafood cream is also good with cheese on top. Love this dish. However the mash potato doesn't taste good at all....... The creme brûlée is fine. Overall I'll give it 3/5, I would say it's overpriced, around $50 per person if you don't order any beverage

Location: In the heart of Tadoussac. Street parking is available but check the signage because in…read moresome areas, it's for a limited time (i.e. 30 minutes). Additionally, much of the parking is paid (meters or lots) but there are a few free parking lots in the area. The place: I didn't go inside as we chose to dine on the terrace. A word to the wise - these guys haven't installed heated lamps (why, I have no idea) so if you're planning to eat outside, wear/bring something warm because when we were there, it was freezing! The goods: My friend ordered the seafood casserole, which was actually a Coquille St. Jacques. I ordered pasta with shrimp, lobster and crab. We both liked our meals but weren't blown away by them. My pasta was nice but it was a little lacking in flavour. That said, there was ample seafood. Service: Our waitress was friendly. One comment that I do have is related to the other waitress - she was wearing a mask well below her nose and around her chin. Sorry, but this is unacceptable during a pandemic and the manager/owner should be making sure that doesn't happen. Price point: A little steep for what you get but most restaurants in the area are catering to tourists so it's to be expected.
