I realized quickly after pulling off about 10 tiles in an hour of work that I was going to need help on my kitchen re-tiling project. We contacted these guys at like 6 pm on a Friday, the job was done by 11am on Monday. Leo texted back requesting photos for a quote within about an hour. We sent photos at about 830 pm. At 11pm he gave us the estimate and said he could be out by 1pm the next day. Sure enough, they showed up on time and got to demo work. Our kitchen took 2 days. A half day of demo (they basically took the entire plaster wall out and replaced with a tile board which seems way more effective than patching as I had planned), a day of tile placement, and ~3 hours to grout on the last day. All we had to do was provide the tile (which we had snagged at a discount from Pratt + Larson outlet) , grout (from Lowe's), and tell them how we wanted it placed (we wanted the stacked look instead of the typical offset). Very happy with the result, the price seemed very reasonable, and the communication was just fine. I plan to call them again when I'm ready to tile up my fireplace. read more

We hired Kibuk to replace the tile for our kitchen & entry floor. We did our own demolition to save money. They were super fast (amazing), they were available sooner than anyone else, they are very reasonably priced, and very professional and respectful of our house. I will definitely hire them again soon to do our kitchen counter & backsplash. Leo also helped us find a great guy to repair a couple of adjacent boards on our wood floor. They adapted very quickly at the last minute to repair and support our under flooring joists before they began. The floor looks absolutely amazing--pattern, finish, cuts, grout--everything. There were a couple of scheduling changes last minute, but they were great about communication & once they started, they finished in half the time I expected anyway! Really very pleased! read more

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the reviews but Leo was prompt in his response and could get the job done the quickest. Because it was a regrout and not a ton of money, I thought why not? I was not asked to pay upfront and Leo accepted my check as payment I was pleasantly surprised and loved the work performed on our white porcelain tile with gray grout. They did a large master bathroom in 3 1/2 hours and it was impressive. So much so, that I hired him to do my guest bath too! Thank you Leo. read more

Great labor and quality installed our tile floor in our basement. Nit easy given all of the uneven surfaces.

So, first the good: 1. Leo acted quickly when we needed to remodel our bathroom because our house was going on the market. He had someone show up the next day. That was great, considering how long a wait we could otherwise have. 2. We loved Peter, our tile subcontractor. Really great guy, fun to work with, covid-considerate. Really good at tile, from what I can tell. 3. During the job, Leo was quick to return our calls and texts. 4. We have a beautiful bathroom, and it got done before our house hit the market. Really a stunner. Now, the bad: 1. Leo asked for half up front via text, before we'd even met. I asked that we meet first. 2. Gave him a check and got a call from a quick check cashing place to verify the check. Leo came back saying the check wouldn't work, he needed Venmo. So, no bank account, wanted cash, hmmmm. 3. I had to go and buy all supplies at Home Depot myself, but Peter, the tile sub, went with me and helped me pick out all the tile and then I paid for everything. 4. The toilet wasn't properly reseated after the beautiful stone tile floor was installed, and it leaks. I've asked Peter to repair it and he said yes but it hasn't happened. Now we have to pay a separate plumber to reseat the toilet. We now have a professional plumber fixing the toilet and his first response was, "What contractor did you use!" The person who seated the toilet didn't put a new wax ring down, I'm told, so of course it's leaking, and they didn't even bolt one side down, they just glued it. So now our second plumber is having to do it right--on our dime. 5. The demo subcontractor or plumber took off the front dial of our radiant floor thermostat and it got thrown out somehow. Thermostat is old enough that, even though it works, we now have to install a new thermostat. I asked Leo to do that and crickets. No response from Leo. Bottom line: Some nice looking results quickly but some horrifyingly slip-shod steps along the way and then no response on the stuff we're left to fix on our own. read more

The crew was fast, affordable and did a fantastic job replacing the tile surround on my fireplace.

I was wary when hiring a tile installer. I have had terrible horror experiences with contractors in the past. But this company was the only one that replied to my quote requests and phone calls so they are who I hired. Leo Was extremely responsive to all my questions and replied with a bid in a very short amount of time. It took my husband and I a while to figure out what all we could afford to do and Leah was willing to work within our budget. I'll spare all the boring details but over the course of the project they were able to schedule almost immediately, and all three guys that came to our house to do the work were professional kind and hard workers. Peter is the one who installed our tile and we could not be happier with the results. He is the sweetest! He went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. He asked me questions about my preferences along the way offered his professional opinion but in the end opted for whatever I said I wanted. I will definitely be hiring these guys again and highly recommend them to anyone needing tile installation. I only wish I had more money so that I could keep hiring them to remodel our whole house! read more

Do not work with this company. They do not provide a written estimate and ask for 50% down. They cannot do higher end work: we had to tear it out and start again. We were offered a partial refund and have received nothing, so we filed with the better business bureau. Leo talks in circles, as does his father. They claim to have employees, but they are contractors. Their website lists Vancouver, WA and Portland, which makes them sound like they are part if a larger company. They are not. If Leo doesn't pick up your call, you are screwed. Do. Not. Hire them. read more

We Found Kibuk Construction on home advisor dot com. They are Ukrainian and sleek broken English so they sound a little gruff however they are a great group of hard working, talented men. They were respectful of our home, and really tried to get everything exactly how we wanted it. From tare out to Plummer, everything was included in their bid, all we needed to do was supply the tile new hardware and grout.
