I feel the new Barre3 classes are an improvement to the previous Studio Barre classes for several reasons, even though, like many, I miss some of the old choreo. Barre3 workouts are kinesiology informed and remind me of a physical therapy session. The dynamic stretching and mini breathework at the end are great for my nervous system. This place is great for all ages of women that want a workout that will tone them all over and actually prevent rather than cause injuries. I adore Nora, whose class I took today, and every other person that teaches and works here.

By the end of the course, I was drenched in a gallon of sweat. I had Andrew the owner as my instructor. We probably had altogether 1 or 2 minutes of water time. All the other minutes were burpees, jumping jacks, push-ups, and one-on-one instructions, and the remaining periods were all on the punching bag. Andrew is friendly and knowledgeable. He'll go around each person offering corrections to ensure you're doing it correctly and lessen the likelihood of injury. He also tailors the workout based on your conditioning, which is nice. The facility is nice and clean, Andrew even showed me a backroom that's like a workout room which is reserved for private lessons. I came in here once and will definitely return. Andrew promised that he'll get me into a summer bod and get rid of this dad bod; so someone will one day love me too!! This is a crazy good workout, you'll definitely feel it the next few days. But I feel the amount of strength and endurance and calorie burning in this class is insane. I'll definitely be back, 5 STARS!!!

I joined this gym back in January with no boxing experience. I had taken one kickboxing class in…read morethe past and was really discouraged by the instructor's condescending teaching style. This time around I wanted to find an instructor that was patient with beginners and could articulate the lessons in a way that anyone at any level could comprehend. Maz is just that. He is a super intelligent being who adapts to the individual he's working with. Over the last 9 months I've improved my boxing skills and Maz always is sure to change things up and throw in challenges to enable consistent and continued growth. Aside from the wide variety of combat sports, Maz also offers healing sound baths, cupping sessions, and AMR/RMR testing through PNOE which has taken my fitness to a whole new level. Most importantly, I love the community. The gym has heart and soul, and is a safe place all individuals to come and be themselves. I've never felt judged. It was so breathtaking I had to catch my breath in between stretching!! Not your cookie-cutter EoS, which is refreshing. The downside? Only 2 racks, layout is a bit cramped. No Cryo Lounge. So, for post workout recovery? Ehhh... you'll have to settle for compression boots and massage chairs, which is still nice but basically, the spa equivalent of a firm handshake instead of a warm hug. Still a nice gym though. Staff is helpful and friendly, parking is plenty.
