Wow In town from central Texas…read more What a complex full of open space, chairs, tables, pickle ball courts (outdoor, covered and indoor), corn hole, outdoor ping pong, three bars, and ample in door seating for food Food-although good our sat and was not warm when delivered well after many others got their food, who had ordered after us All around, Service was great-everyone was asking us if we were ok, did we need anything, can we get you anything We were very surprised Ambiance-see above really, very cool place Not one in central Texas-I-10 in San Antonio is closest to us. I recommend they put one in Williamson County, Texas If you get near one, you should check them out! Reserve your pickle ball courts early

We've heard about Chicken N Pickle for a while, but since we live in California, this was our first…read moretime visiting one in person. We had seen pictures before, but honestly, the experience was even better than we imagined. Chicken N Pickle is beautiful. My husband loves playing and coaching pickleball in California, so this stop felt especially perfect for us. Facility - This place is huge, and pictures truly do not do it justice. It's very family-friendly, with something for every age, and it seems like a perfect place for parties and gatherings. Restroom - One of my biggest pet peeves when eating out is the restroom, and theirs was so clean and smelled amazing. Great job. Food - We tried the burger and the cilantro lime chicken over rice, and both were delicious. Definitely worth trying. The churro dessert was also so good. Staff - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'm so sorry I forgot the name of the lady who helped us last night, but she was amazing--so kind, sweet, and attentive. I also want to give a special shoutout to Shawn, the Assistant General Manager, who truly embodied the mission of fostering community, friendship, and fun. Even in our brief interaction, his love for his job and commitment to the company were so clear. You can tell he genuinely lives out what Chicken N Pickle is all about. Also, shoutout to Macie--she was incredibly hardworking, constantly cleaning and helping others, all with a smile. She carried herself with such integrity and dedication, and it really stood out. Pickleball - The indoor and outdoor pickleball courts were beautiful. Just one suggestion: during open play, it may be more fair to use a paddle rack system. My husband was able to play a lot, which we appreciated, but we also noticed that some players seemed to get pushed aside and did not always get their two games before being rotated out. A paddle system could help make open play feel more organized and fair for everyone. We truly enjoyed our visit and are so glad we stopped by. We would absolutely love to come back the next time we're in the area.

In passing the other day, a friend mentioned she was thinking of trying this, and we decided to check it out together. Well, I just wish I had done this sooner. A $59 application fee plus $35/month gets you a single membership. While I was most excited about the junior Olympic size outdoor saltwater pool, they have three indoor and two outdoor tennis courts, three full-sized maple basketball courts, new cardio and weight equipment, saunas and more. My only beef: the whole point of this is to swim laps. They have the pool divided between the deep end and shallow end, so you have to account for the rope when doing laps. I'd love one lane for serious swimming only. Also, if you're used to the Downtown Y (like I am) the locker room, shower, bathrooms, etc leave a little bit to be desired, but it makes up for it with the outdoor pool. I'm really excited to have this new option in my workout regimen and pleased to have a place to be in the water (and sunshine) the rest of the summer.

Usually they are closed on Mondays to clean it, but being a Tuesday- it didn't seem they cleaned it at all. also a huge group came in to take over the pool for swim classes or something , so we had to get out and no one at check in said a word about it. we love this pool and will continue to come but Hope it's cleaned regularly and we are notified at check-in about group coming in to take over.
