After several summers of bad luck in finding a fun and active place for our daughter, we seem to have finally struck gold with Lobo. Everyday we pick her up, she's in the best mood and tells us about how much fun she's had for that day. The field trips are great, Friday's are movie/swim days, and the facility is always bustling with kids playing. We love Lobo's summer camp. My son is neurodivergent and also have a genetic disorder and has received such great care these last two summers. The coaches and staff are wonderful and we especially love Coach Connie. I am always hesitant to leave my son anywhere because of his disability, but Lobo has been such a safe place for him to go. My daughter was in a preschool tumble class here last fall. It was awful!! For the price, I expected much more. Every week, during a 45 minute session, the "coach" took the youngster (only 6-8) through this obstacle course which was so boring and routine that my 4 yr old didn't want to do it anymore! They "stretched" for 15 minutes! Then walked on the balance beam without any instruction on form. She's in a much better class now at MGA in Pasadena. read more

I would not recommend Lobo Gymnastics as I had my children there last year and it was not even a month and my son - 9 and daughter - 5 would let me know that they were constantly bullied from the other children and the coaches were not paying attention half the time. I would inform front desk or the director, and it would stop for 1 day or 2 and then it would happen again. It is so disappointing because my children's school is right in front of Lobo, and it would be so convenient. I am not the only mother whose children have had this problem with Lobo daycare. I started talking to other mothers and they opened up about the same issues of them experiencing this or other mothers who have had issues with Lobo and removed their children. read more

I brought my kids here for a trial a few months back. The place was not very clean and from the second I walked in I did not feel comfortable inside. The people who were at the front desk ignored me when I walked through the door. I was unsure of where my child was supposed to go and no one would help guide me. The class seemed to go okay, but my child did not want to come back. The coach seemed to not care too much and she was not paying close attention to my child. Acrosports is not far down the road and I would definitely recommend them for gymnastics. read more

We were set up on an ACH debit for twice a month. Lobo consistently complicated their billing through the year and a half that our daughter went to school there. We would get drafted several times a month, even when we were only supposed to be debited twice. The amounts were sometimes what we had agreed upon, sometimes they were more sometimes they were less . There was at least one instance when they drafted twice in the same week. Out of all this, we were somehow left with a balance. We were told that was due to insufficient funds in our checking account. I called the bank, and there was not an instance where the bank had declined a transaction. Lobo was unable to prove that the debits were ever attempted such as a declined slip, or any documentation proving they tried to run the transaction. We were then presented with a " late " bill. For over 500 dollars. Nope, we pulled our daughter from the school as we couldn't handle the repetitive errors in accounting. Months later we receive a letter that " after months of trying to get in contact with us " they were going to send us to collections " we responded with a phone call and asked for the records that showed where the money came from, how did we owe this much? Our letter only went back so far, and had a place where there was a " balance forward " in the amount that we owed. The letter answered NOTHING. Today, I received a call from a collection agency. I paid the balance I " owe " to avoid a ding on my credit. Next step small claims court. read more

Lobo has been a fantastic experience so far for us. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they are very responsive to phone call and email questions, and my son absolutely loves the summer gymnastic camp! Sign-up was very quick and easy, I got a great tour of the facility, and everything was explained to me in perfect detail. I love the email up-dates as well. I strongly recommend their summer gymnastic camp to anyone looking for an active and fun place for their children! We did not have a great experience with the summer program for school-agers at this daycare. I didn't feel that there were very many engaging activities for the kids and in the evenings when I would pick my son up, all the children were made to sit in lines to quietly wait to leave. After three days I withdrew my son from the program because he was NOT happy here. Please take this review with a grain of salt as we did not attend long at all! I can say that the front office staff were always very kind and friendly and they were very helpful in the process of enrolling and unenrolling my child but we will not be going back here. read more

Staff protects staff. Period. Don't send your kids here. I URGE YOU. Staff is allowed to yell and yank kids by shirt collars with ABSOLUTELY no repercussions! If you voice anything your kids will be kicked out IMMEDIATELY and fake incident reports will be made up the same day to "protect" favorited staff. They will put other kids diapers on your children with no regard for skin conditions or remorse if it causes a rash. Kids with disabilities are frowned upon and treated differently. Staff are friends first and coworkers second. Ex: "_________ isn't going anywhere" is what i was told about several staff members who serious allegations were made about. When i brought them to their attention i was deemed the "crazy mom" and tried to be kept quiet by removing my child who saw the incidents from the facility. They say they care about families and the children but when we voice our concerns they are quicker to protect their own and sweep it under the rug. The faster they can get the "problem child" and "problem parent" out the better. They are VERY rude when you bring any concerns to their attention. Owner definitely will not address anything and their information is kept private so if you have an issue you're forced to deal with staff that's there daily and if you are not satisfied OH WELL. Poorly run. Poorly owned. Look up their violations on dfps.state.tx.us. If your kid tells you something happened BELEIVE THEM. PLEASE. Don't let staff ease your concerns and promise everything is fine or that its being "investigated" especially if its one of the preferred staff. Look for child care elsewhere. read more

Lobo active learning center and gymnastics has an excellent childcare and learning program for kids. My daughter attended the summer camp last year and we could try out a combination of gymnastics camp and active camp alternate weeks. This way she could spend time practicing gymnastics as well as go for field trips and hang out at the kid gym. The management and the instructors are amazing, encouraging and cooperative. read more

Do yourself a favor and save your money. I wouldn't send my worst enemy's child to Lobo's pre-school. For the amount of money that you pay, you get a second rate education at best. The staff is a nightmare, specifically the managers Tammy and Kristin. Please expect your automatic payments to be messed up (over charged), a disorganized and judgemental staff, and for your child to not be properly cared for. You should also expect to have major issues and then still have to pay for an additional month or they threaten you with sending you to collections. My 4yr daughter attended gymnastics last fall 2014 in October and it started out good.The teacher was excellent with the kids.After the teacher moved on to pursue a different career things changed.At that point many students dropped ,not just my daughters class but the entire gymnastics program was depleted. All the coaches left along with many students.When I would take my daughter to class it was a different teacher every time and at times my daughter was the only one in the class. It was a waste of money and time.Not once did anyone from the facility explain what was going on with the staffing.We decided to move on to a Kennedy dance (which is 1000 times better) and I failed to give a 30 day notice and now they still billing me 5 months later not realizing that my daughter no longer attends gymnastics.They appear to have things in order but I realized its all about making money not providing a good product.Very disappointing. read more

Worst costumer service I loved the teachers but they can't seem to get their billing under control. You call to make a payment and think someone would take it out but hey don't. Then 2 months later they call stating that they don't have a confirmation for that payment. They then cornered my husband told them we had to pay a certain amount by Monday then Monday comes and they up the price by over a hundred dollars and say he can't return unless it's paid in full. I didn't look back as I was beyond frustrated then a week goes by and they have been randomly charging my card without my authorization for random amounts. WHICH MIND YOU IS VERY ILLEGAL. To top it off I'm not the only one this has happened to as I know it least 2 others who have had this happen and we don't know too many people as we are new to Texas. Beware of this place sucks that the teachers are so good but the childcare side front office and management is awful. Wish it was as good and reliable as he gymnastics side of things. read more
