I have loved seeing this store transform over the past few years that I've shopped here. The staff are always greeting people through the door with a friendly hello and smile. So accommodating when dealing with a baby and toddler who seems to always need a diaper change after 15 min in the store. My only suggestion is (if possible) to add more light or a brighter light over the 6-9 month baby boy aisle. It's so dark just in that part of the store, I don't know if the thing overhead is a vent or just a fluorescent that's out? But that's the ONLY complaint. Do not shop here or sell here!! I sold my sons clothes here was told it was a three hour wait asked if they were open Sunday the lady said yes. Due to their website still showing closed on Sunday I called Sunday to make sure since this location is not close to my house. No one answered when I call three times sucks day so I didn't go. I walk in today on Memorial Day pick up my cash and when I walked to over pick grab my bin I was told they donated my bin. I was totally ok donating the clothes but my bin that I'm required to bring my things in is not ok. I was then told by the rude manager that I should have picked up yesterday I told her no one answered and your website said your closed. She said there was nothing she could do and there was no corporate number. So I've found the corporate address, email and phone number lol fare in UT so I will be reaching out tomorrow as well as leaving this review on google. This is not ok read more

Super overstimulating experience at kid to kid in Rockwall! The employees (while very nice) are talking WAY too loud across the store to each other. I understand chatter while working, but the volume was honestly overwhelming and I had to leave. Also, the way the clothes are clipped on the hangers is frustrating because you cannot really tell what the item is. They did have a good selection of things and the pricing was reasonable, but it was distracting in there with the teenage workers talking I couldn't do it. read more

I visit this store 2-3 times a year when I'm in the area. Its a pretty small but the clothes & pricing are average for a kid's resale. Somehow the staff manages to get worse and the store dirtier with every visit. There is normally a stale smell, combined with old shoes but my most recent visit had cigarette and badly burned food mixed in. There were random styrofoam cups on the sales floor and trash on the floor. Having worked for a retail landlord, it was always interesting that the stores with low sales/requesting rent relief were most always stores that failed Secret Shopping evaluations. This store would bomb a Secret Shopper Eval. No greeting upon entering or thanks upon exiting & check-out is always weird. On my last visit, a cashier and a customer were arguing and eventually screaming at each other as the lady exited. Luckily, I didn't encounter that employee but my attempted check-out had no shortage of the weird. As I approached to checkout, an employee sorting items and 1 drinking & talking to with her back to the store. I followed her from register to register thinking she was going to turn around. I interrupted them to ask about checking out. The one with the face piercings told me I had to 'input my phone number for service'. I did, waited for the check-out process to commence. She continued to chat and drink so I asked if it was a self checkout. She laughed with her co-worker, said no and showed me I didn't click a button on the screen. At that point, I decided against purchasing and left. No plans to return to this location. Offering self-check out might actually be a great idea for them. read more

The staff is awesome from the times ive stopped by. Store looks nice and clean, the clothing selection is okay my only issue is that most of the clothing that they have looks ashy like when you dry clothes on a high setting and the color fades away, so it would be nice if they would be more picky about the clothes they buy to resell. The prices are higher than back then but of course inflation so its understandable and its not that bad. I truly love Kid To Kid my favorite locations are the ones in Allen and Frisco and this is closet to my house so I love to stop by once in a while to see if they have better options now but its always the same ashy look on the clothing. I am going to say that the toy selection is great and the other little blankets and covers are great also. read more

I really like their selection for second hand items. A fairly easy process to sell your items as well. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy some of the items new, but for the most part, it's same prices as FB marketplace, if not cheaper. read more

TERRIBLE STORE!! I came an hour away to shop specifically at their store. And our account is under my mothers name since I'm 16. Well SHELBY , the worker, told me she couldnt give me store credit since I didn't have my mom & her ID. So I took my boxes and was walking off, then SHELBY was like "Well my bad for pissing you off" & as I was walking off, I told her she couldve made something happen considering I came an hour away. This store is a joke & filled with rude people. SHELBY will be getting reported to corporate. I was constantly being stared at by workers that couldn't provide any help. If I could rate a zero, I would. I even felt racially profiled because my family was the only black one in there & we were talked to the worst. DO NOT WASTE MONEY HERE! I brought maternity and baby clothes here on Saturday to sell and was told that the buyer worked Monday and would finish the buy then. I agreed. I brought probably 100 items of new or like new clothing. It's now Monday and I went to pick up my leftover items. They picked 35 items and wanted to pay me $30! That's less than $1 per item, and half of what I brought was new with the tags from some really high end stores. When I asked to see which items were picked, they refused. When I asked to cancel the sale, I was told their policy doesn't allow me to back out! What a scam! They could have paid me a penny per item and I can't even see what they took?? That is so unethical and I find this business completely lacks integrity. I will actively suggest my friends and my mom group not to sell here. They have shady business policies and I am absolutely irate. I have been selling to businesses like Plato's and Clothes Mentor for years and never seen such a questionable business practice. I had a great experience shopping at the Allen location (more stock of clothes toys and maternity wear and a better store layout) and I don't even see a reason for me to return to the Rockwall location again even though I live in Rowlett. The store is small, there isn't a maternity rack, and they don't have any second hand toys so you don't find any cool bargains on toys. Unfortunately my baby grew so fast that a lot of name brand new items he wasn't able to wear or wear long. Decided to clean house and get rid of extra items, majority of items they didn't want to take and the 100 items they did take they only gave me $100 in cash or $200 in store credit. I've seen the items they have to sell and they should have taken my stuff it would have definitely attracted more customers because these other items they sell look crappy. Won't be back read more

I wasn't too sure about shopping at kid to kid the first time I went. I had never heard of it until my sister told me to give it a try; that it was affordable, and had everything my daughter needed. Very disappointed. Purchased $12.99 Crocs for a baby. At the time of purchase they were to big to try on. Months later when he finally grew into them we realized the Crocs where not the same size. I brought it to their attention hoping they would at the very least give us store credit in the amount we paid and they wouldn't because it was past the return date. I am NOT one to go on here and make posts like this but I just want to let others know how new management at Kid to Kid is handling customers so what happened to me doesn't happen to you! When I dropped off my things they told me they were very backed up and it would take longer than normal to get my "buy" completed. No problem I wasn't in a hurry. I dropped them off on a Monday. We went out of town on a Thursday and by that point I had not heard from them. When we got back in town the following week I decided to check with the store since I still had not received any phone calls (nor had any missed calls from them) and they proceeded to tell me they called me the previous week but it didn't ring and they were not able to leave a message..... Yet since it had been over a week their system had converted my cash into store credit. I do not want store credit!! I sold my things to get cash and get rid of things. And when I dropped my things off I specifically checked the box stating that I wanted cash!!!! They would not give me the option to take my things back either. So they basically took my things and gave my store credit to a store I don't shop at with NO PROOF of a phone call nor a voicemail! read more

Clean, organized cute store with lots of fun clothing options. Giving it a 3 star tho due to pricing. It's pretty expensive even for the second hand clothing. Was surprised to see a few times that were really faded or pretty worn to still be marked up pretty high. This is a great place to go for their adorable boutique items, but if you're looking to save money on clothes or shoes... this may not be the best option as you can find deals cheaper for new at Target, Walmart, Burke's. Selection is okay and store is very well kept. 2 of my 4 experiences haven't been great from a customer service perspective. The first time, my items were in a bag instead of a box or basket (kind of silly considering you get a couple dollars per item at best but okay). This last time I came in with my one small basket as requested, they won't take anything after 4 because they "don't have storage to keep it overnight" and the buyer is gone. So I had to leave and go back the next day. I highly recommend as their website says please call before you go in case they're closed or buyer isn't there. read more

After reading the poor reviews I was a bit hesitant to go inside but i ended up having an excellent experience! So, I'm planning on checking out the Deep Ellum Arts Festival this weekend and want to take one of my little Yorkies so I came here looking for one of those over-the-shoulder baby slings to carry my 4-legged baby around. Found the perfect accessory that will do the trick nicely and will give me a "bohemian" look for the festival - perfect for Deep Ellum! I was greeted when I walked in and the two high school girls who helped me were very courteous and professional. I don't have a baby or small kids but I would shop here again. Kid to kid is a wonderful resale store with great prices in a large selection. I shop there often and will continue to do so. Their prices are great, actually pretty amazing. Their merchandise turnover is pretty quick- So there always seems to be lots of new things to see. They also carry toys and bassinets,car seats, books- all type of items for kids & expectant mothers. I also like that it's easy to get in and out-no traipsing around some huge mall to look for one place- easy is nice! read more

A true rip off! I haven't been to Kid to Kid in over a year. I decided to take some clothes n New shoes to the rockwall branch. This was my first time at this location and upon signing up it was 30 min in store wait time and on top of that the offer had to given in two days all because of I opted for cash. The offer for what they accepted was a 3 dollar difference from store credit to cash and the cash offer was such an low ball offer that i guesstimated it even out to about 2 dollars per GOOD valuable items! Karma will come down onto that place for taking advantage like that! I hate it for them that their business dealings is such a shiesty state of being. read more
