The bad customer service started when we first went to pick out a ring. I love aquamarine because it is my husband & I birthstone, my favourite colour and I don't like diamonds. The worker shamed me for wanting the ring it picked. My husband & I could only guess she wanted a bigger sale which she would of gotten because we were getting a Disney necklace & bracelet before the comments. We also got the life time warranty which I need to bring it into the store to get clean & inspected. They can never find our account. We bring in the paper warranty with all the info and still they have issues. They have multiple system and none of them are connected. Now the visit today, 24 Feb 2024, was awful. We arrived right after opening, 11:02, and waited 36 minutes to get help because they were understaff. When we finally started to get help we told her I was here to get my ring serviced & 2 stones replaced. She put my ring in the ultra sonic & said she could only clean it since it wasn't/we didn't have a diamond band(we got my wedding band somewhere else). I told her with my warranty my stone would be replaced & ring fully serviced. She continued to say no. After about 5 minutes of back and forth she finally actually read what our warranty covered. Then we had the issue of pulling up our account was a 10 min ordeal. We signed & initial all the paperwork where she told us. I took a couple minutes putting on the paperwork in my folder. We got a message an hour after we left the mall from the woman saying we initial where we were suppose to sign and she couldn't process our service and we needed to drive back to sign. We talked to the store manager about the message & she handled it to where we didn't need to drive back(our only decent interaction with zales) I honestly have such awful feeling attached to my engagement ring that I really love that all stem & compound from that first sales rep.

Had to wait not one, but 2-3 hours, yes HOURS!!!!! Was actually insane. My partner, his littler sister and I been visiting this shop, I've been to a lot of James Avery places. He was gifting me a charm for our anniversary from there. One young girl was helping us, while 2 others just stood in the back awkwardly, and an older employee lady next to the one helping us. We had purchased the charm and wanted to put it on the bracelet, every James Avery store I've been to throughout the years had said it would only to 10-15mins, at most 30mins. Tell me why, it took 2-3hrs. Keep in mind they had NO ONE in the store. They had said logically it'd take 20mins which I thought was normal. I had made it clear though this was time limited and could not come back tomorrow as I was only visiting and could not alter my plans. They agreed and said many times it'd only take 20mins. 20mins turned into 40, turned into a hr, turned into 2hrs, so on. Not only was I highly annoyed, my partner was frustrated, as well. We had to keep going back in to ask if there was something wrong. No one had even started working on it, instead they were giggling, horse playing, running around, on their phones just goofing off. I was about to lose my patience. Finally the older lady told one of the younger girls to start handling attaching the charm to my bracelet. And the girl had the nerve to glare at us, got an attitude with us and start whispering to each other while staring at us. The older lady apologized for the delay, she was the only responsible and professional person there. If this had happened at James Avery near me the girls would've been punished or even fired. Not only ruined my trip but our first anniversary as well. Later on my mother and I had called to report what happened to one of the high managers, they at least were decent to apologize but I will NEVER be returning and wouldn't recommend this James Avery to anyone going there, at least to those foolish girls who needed to be trained very properly or let go for how unprofessional they were. I hope they get punished because utterly horrible. Will be returning to Dallas soon but will take not only my business but my associates business to a different more professional one. Was not with it at all. Not only that, they had put the charm completely wrong!!! Had to take it to my normal one and have it redone. It amazes me how horrible this experience was.
