With all resale shops, you're not guaranteed to always sell them something, nor for them to be looking for what you're selling. Sometimes they take a lot, sometimes they take nothing. They give fair money for what they take and are professional and friendly. They offer store credit (they give more) or cash. I will probably never shop at the Huebner location in SA again. I was not aware that they only allow refunds to go back to your store account. Had I known that, I would not have bought $60 boots, hoping they would fit my child. She is already in a size 12, and while I mentioned to the manager that she is already growing out of the sizes available there, and I probably would never use that amount in my store account, she just said "Well the store credit is good for 3 years.". Came all the way from New Braunfels to sell some top of the line boys clothing (ie Henry and Me, Janie and Jack, Nike, Converse), showed up around 4:45 (close at 7), expecting to sell. Their website states you can come in to sell up until 1 hour before closing, so I didn't think it would be a problem. Ladies proceed to tell me they aren't accepting more than two boxes despite me calling less than 45 mins earlier to mention I was coming from NB, and never was this mentioned on the call. Kid to Kid rocks. With as much as babies/toddlers grow, I cannot fathom buying brand new clothes unless absolutely necessary. I live close to this place and I am a frequent shopper because everything switches out so much. There's loads of look for here if you are expecting, lots of used maternity clothes and breast pumps, diaper bags, journals, pregnancy books, etc. Definitely a place you want to check out before you go buy any bigger expensive items. There's loads of kid clothes. There only used to be clothes for under 5 year olds, but they've created more of an area for older kids as well, so you can find clothes for pre-teens. They have a huge selection of baby toys, baby necessities (cribs, car seats, strollers, boppys, pottys, shoes) all reasonably priced. I have sold here before, never clothes though, I usually only donate all of my baby's clothes to Goodwill as you get little to nothing for them. I've sold items here like his car seat, strollers, etc and always get offered a good amount of money so I can't complain. The girls who work here usually aren't very interactive which you may or may not like. I think it's rude not to be greeted when you enter but I'm just glad they don't bug me while I shop. read more

Terrible customer service. When I arrived at this location, I got down with my two month old in her stroller, & a bouncer in the other hand. I had trouble opening the door to get in, there were about 3 workers at the front & 2 people shopping at the front. No one working greeted me or even helped me into the store. Out of frustration I tossed the bouncer over my daughters stroller and into the store, still no reaction from anyone working in the store. I then focused on getting my daughter and I into the store through the entrance. Once they inspected the bouncer, they informed me that they needed the rod with the toys that dangle in order to accept the bouncer. It was a bit frustrating but I understood that part. So I went back home to get the piece and was able to get that handled. But I stand by what I think as this store having TERRIBLE customer service. No greeting, no help, everyone just seems to be in their own world. As a first time mom, it's hard enough. I'd expect a family place like this to have a bit more compassion. read more

I stopped by with Kiddo and Hubby in tow as I had gotten an email the day before that Kid to Kid were having a 20% off sale for Memorial Day. I selected an adorable stack of stuff from Chaps to Gap - tops, dresses and a few shorts. All in good condition up to excellent condition. While waiting to check out I pulled up the email on my phone and noticed that in fine print the sale was Monday only. I asked if it were possible to have the 20% anyway as I had gotten the email DAYS before and figured the sale was through the weekend - not just Monday. Why on earth would they limit the sale to only Monday? It is a holiday and the store hours are more limited than usual - they will be closing at 5pm. So that limits their customers to have to go out on a holiday AND get there before the store closes early. It made no sense, and why inform customers of a sale 4 days before it even starts and why put the most important information in the fine print? Anyway, the gals at the counter said "No", the sale was Monday only. So instead of getting my money, they instead had to spend the time returning all of my items to the shelves. I am not going to buy something that I know will be 20% less in a matter of 48 hours. Also, they would not hold the items until Monday either - only until the end of closing that day. So, I have spent hundreds of dollars at Kid to Kid over the last 1.5 years, I have been on their eblast list and have run through a few 'loyalty cards'. They have lost an eblast subscriber, lost a customer and now have a bad review to boot. I understand they can set their own rules but sending out unclear and misleading marketing is just bad business and losing my business was shortsighted. read more

I have been coming here since 2011 I believe... But this place seems to be loosing its touch. They use to have great clothing for children. Clothing used to be in great condition and everything was very cute. Now a lot of the clothes are faded and overpriced. The store was and still is kept real well organized. The staff has changed, seems like they only speak to you when you're about to pay. I'm giving them 2 stars because I'm hoping the store changes back to the way it used to be. I was a regular and I'd go every two weeks and walk out with cute outfits without paying so much. Last week I was there and left in 10 mins empty handed. This place is a such a great way to save money. I always find so much great stuff when I am there. Everything is organized well so it's easy to browse for what you need. Lots of clean working toys, clothes are in good condition snd they have sales often. Yesterday I got several cute dresses for 40% off for my three year old so the dresses came to about $2.50 each. And they were good brands like Disney and Baby Gap. The staff are always friendly. And if you joint the kids books club you get a free book (or 1.50 off if the book costs more than $1.50) every month.So grateful for this place! read more
