DO NOT GO HERE. We…read morestarted sending my daughter here a few months before our son was born because the daycare she was at, didn't accept infants so we had to move. We've had multiple problems since she started and many more once my son started going at 6 weeks old. There's been multiple occasions where the notes of her day aren't correct. (They use an app called KangarooTime to update parents throughout the day). There was one day she peed her pants so bad her SHOES were soaked. The notes said she successfully went potty all day. We were told they upload pictures of the kids daily, there have been periods of 2+ weeks with no pictures updated, despite me asking for them. The daily notes on the app look copy and pasted from day to day and didn't seem like they were specific to my child. She never comes home with any artwork. She also seems like she has regressed in speech and writing. My son has had many more issues than we've had with my daughter. They don't rinse out the bottles you bring in, but don't tell you that. So I discovered a few bottles with day old breast milk in them and they REEKED. They posted pictures of my son with another kids pacifier in his mouth! I'm a pretty laid back mom but I was fit to be tied. Swaddling also helps his colic but since we mentioned this, he is swaddled almost all day every day. It seems like he is always in a bouncer seat and rarely held or being played with. I realize he's the youngest in the room and it's hard to "play" with a 6 week old, but there is no excuse for him being in bouncer seat most of the day. The app is also pretty worthless. They use KangarooTime. If you send a message to the teachers or directors on there, they don't even bother to respond. There's an additional charge to pay the weekly daycare fee through the app, something no one mentioned beforehand. We can not get the kids out of this daycare fast enough. But you have to give a 2 week notice. Thankfully, our last day is Friday and I couldn't be happier. It's been a miserable experience.

Love the staff and atmosphere! My daughter can't get enough of this place and never wants to leave.read more

Sometimes…read morekids spend all day in the same diaper, or are put in the red stroller and strapped in for long periods of time. These are neglect issues. Another major issue was communication. The daily reports are often hurried and inaccurate. There were multiple times we were contacted way too late about an incident. There were times we were explicitly told one thing only to someone do the opposite, so our trust was broken. Ultimately, we appreciated some of the hard working competent teachers, but other incompetent employees makes it an unsuitable place to send any child.

Love love the daycare we send our baby to!…read more It is conveniently located, surrounded by stores, restaurants and etc. we moved our baby here since it was a better location for us but we are very impressed by the staff, the facility and what they offer. Our 5 month old, Aria, gets tonssssss of love from all her teachers which is at the top of our wants list, everyone is always upbeat and happy when you walk in!!! We absolutely love our Miss AJ, Miss Abby, Miss Emily and Miss Jenny! They have a better structure as far as her development and the room that she is in always looks clean! They have cameras that you can watch from home or from work through a computer or ur mobile device! When I am at work I don't have to worry because everyday I know she is in good hands! So happy that they opened a Kiddie Academy in West Chester!!! We are so looking forward to working with this amazing team to develop and love our little girl!

I first applied for my child on May 14, 2024, and received confirmation. Over time, I was told he was on the waiting list, and later that he was first on the waiting list. Then that there was no waitlist and administration had changed. I remained patient and continued to follow up appropriately. Since then, I have reapplied and followed up multiple times across the past two years. Most recently, I submitted another application and reached out again only to receive no response at all. I understand that staff may be out of the office at times. However, a complete lack of communication and follow-through over an extended period reflects a breakdown in process, not just timing issues. As a parent, it's frustrating and discouraging to feel like your child's application is not being actively managed. I genuinely like what this school represents, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Strong schools should have strong communication especially in admissions, where families are trying to make important decisions. At this point, it's difficult to feel confident in how prospective families are handled.

Originally, one of the biggest perks of the Cincy Y membership was that it allowed you to use all Cincinnati branches. Now, you can go to any Ohio YMCA with your membership! Way to go! I know the membership pricing varies based on economic conditions, and while the Y certainly isn't the cheapest option, I will say they offer a lot of bang for your buck if you are willing to take advantage. Pools and saunas at most locations, fitness classes offered at all of them and at varying times, ActiveTrax to customize your fitness regime, weight rooms, workout facilities, personal coaching, and various free training programs from weight loss to competitive running to healthy eating make the YMCA not just a weight room, but a comprehensive facility for better living. I will say that while the Y offers a wonderful program for synchronized and competitive swimming, it wreaks havoc on the pool availability schedule. During the school year, expect the pool to be occupied whenever the children can be there. Even with 3 pools available at the Powel Crosley, it is difficult to discern from the schedule when the pool is open to the public. The good news? You can always call and talk to a human being.

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience at Kids R Kids West Chester. Initially when we…read morestarted our daughter there, communication from the principal was good and the care provided by the teachers was decent. Things really started going downhill when Jessica took over as principal. We started noticing the updates through Procare were few and far between, and when asked for updates from the teachers at pick up we got minimal info... so we started resorting to watching the cameras that were made available to parents. At this point we started noticing our daughter (and many other kids) were not being offered drinks for breakfast - this was noted on MULTIPLE occasions. My husband and I reached out to the front desk numerous times to voice this concern to assure our daughter is offered drinks, and after progress was not being made we reached out to Jessica via email. The email was ignored, so my husband spoke with her one day at pick up to request a meeting - at the meeting we expressed our concerns of drinks not being offered, she assured us this wasn't true and diminished our concerns. We pleaded for her to look at the camera footage, but I don't believe this was ever done. We also expressed our concerns that Procare had been down for a month and paper charting wasn't being done. She gave some false promises that she would talk to the teachers and assure this is being done here forward and said there was nothing they could do about Procare being down. The coming few weeks we received maybe two paper charts with Procare still being down. The final straw was when we brought our daughter home and noted that she has a diaper rash and un-wiped leftover stool on her legs and peri area. This was shocking because our daughter is 2 years and potty training, and hasn't had a diaper rash since she was a newborn... and this happened in a matter of 8 hours at daycare. We pulled her from Kids R Kids that day, reached out to the regional director to voice our concerns, who was so apologetic and wonderful. She did inform us that Procare was only down maybe 3 days, and not the 1-2 months that Jessica led us to believe... so just another wild thing to add to the list of concerns. Overall I would NEVER recommend this daycare to anyone under the care of Jessica and the toddler room teachers (aside from Miss Helen, who was very kind and caring) they have no accountability and don't take parents concerns seriously. Please think twice before sending your child here.
