Under Miss Terri's leadership, it felt warm, consistent, and professionally run. Miss Martha, who worked with the infants, was exceptional and played a huge role in our decision to enroll. Back then, the staff felt experienced and connected to the families. Unfortunately, the school has changed significantly, especially under the new director, Dena. This past year has been the most difficult for us. Staff turnover has been constant--teachers come and go without any communication to the parents. At the beginning of the year, I met a lovely teacher at open house, only to find she was gone within a few weeks. No notice, no introduction to the new teacher--just a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Most concerning was the lack of support during our son's potty training. We had specifically communicated, multiple times, that we needed the daily progress reports updated for medical reasons, especially so we could track bowel movements. Despite stressing the importance and necessity of this, the reports were rarely, if ever, completed accurately. It was frustrating, disappointing, and inexcusable. There's clearly a lack of training and support among the staff, and it reflects in the daily operations. Given how expensive KLA is, it simply doesn't live up to the high expectations or reputation it once had. It's a real shame, because it used to be a place we felt proud to be part of. We hope the school can take a serious look at its leadership and staffing issues, and return to the quality and care that originally set it apart. Until then, we can't recommend it to other families in good faith.

Our intake was with Monica and after what happened at the prior school I was so terrified for my son to go to school again but Monica put all my fears at ease. Monica is by far the most amazing director who handles situations immediately with such professionalism. Then Natalie who greets you in the morning for drop off is by far the most kind, loving person. You can tell the both of them truly love what they do and care for the students like they are there children. I honestly couldn't recommend a early child hood daycare anymore then this one. Maybe the child who but did it because your child would not leave this child alone or was taking toys away from the child or a million other things that can happen. Your child may be the one who is aggravating the other children. The director snd the teacher are doing all they can, I am sure. I didn't look at the date of your post but I just wanted you to know things like this happen all the time. And it's not because the teacher or the director doesn't care, because they do. But unless your child has someone follow him all day, there's no way to stop it. Perhaps they could let the child go that bit, but that's not the way to handle it. I'm sure they are/did do everything they can. Maybe get a nanny, that's the only way to stop other children from doing what toddlers do. The staff is amazing. The director, Christina, was incredibly friendly and helpful. My little one smiled at her and reached out for her on our first visit, so I knew this was meant to be! It's very clear that she is very good friends with the owner, and bases her recommendation on her relationship with the owner. If your child has any special needs or delays, DO NOT even consider this place. They have zero patience, zero tolerance, and are borderline discriminatory against children with special needs. I enrolled my child over summer (and provided full disclosure about my child's needs), hoping he'd get adjusted and prepared for the school year, however there was very little structure, and the teacher seemed very inexperienced (i also never met her or spoke directly to the teacher once). I received a tiny slip of paper with a daily report that said he was "happy" everyday, yet they kicked him out. I offered to have him attend with a shadow or one-on-one (paid by myself with a background check and credentials), and the director had already informed me that they allowed this for another student, but suddenly they wouldn't allow this for MY son. She also informed me that two other students in the classroom were "challenging" and therefore they couldn't handle my child. Keira, the director talks in circles and Circles and can't get her story straight. I'm sure she's a good person, but she is does not do well with handling well educated and involved parents. I've now been waiting for over a month for a refund of my registration fee because they refused to allow him to attend. It's very sad, they are only a great school if you're in their click and your could is PERFECT. I'm actually considering a discrimination lawsuit, because of the unfair treatment my child and my family endured. Not to mention, most other preschools are on waiting lists, and we now have no childcare for our child, and both parents work full-time. We registered him in May for the Fall, so we were looking in advance and making sure to be prepared. I'd like to add that they have great social media sites on Facebook and Instagram. I follow both sites, and during the entire month of June when my child attended and participated in the weekly themes (dressing up for super hero week), they posted TONS of photos of the children from ALL of the classes, and my child is not in ONE photograph. That's heartbreaking for a mom to be unable to see her child in school, and then also to see my child is not included in any photos posted (I gave permission for my child to be photographed).
