5 out of 5 stars Not sure why Children's Dental Zone has anything less than 5 stars. From start to finish, we had an amazing experience. We're new patients, and from the first call, everything was easy. The person who helped me on the phone walked me through everything. I got text reminders, and I was able to fill out all our forms online before showing up - which made check-in super smooth. We had appointments at 3 and 4 for my daughter and son. We arrived about 15 minutes early, handed over our insurance cards and ID, and maybe waited 5 minutes before they took us back - before 3! They got my daughter's x-rays done and her seated, and then brought my son in (even though his appointment was for 4), took his x-rays, and had him seated by around 3:20. They sat the kids next to each other so both parents could be nearby. Cleanings were efficient and gentle, and not even five minutes after they finished, the doctor came over, checked their teeth and x-rays, and literally gave them a round of applause for having zero cavities. She was so warm, patient, and took time to answer all my questions. Everyone we interacted with was amazing - special shout-out to Dahlia (one of the hygienists), who was so sweet. The entire team was working hard, smiling, and truly welcoming. There was even someone dedicated to cleaning the office the whole time. The place was spotless, adorable, and had such a happy, organized vibe. We were out by 3:45! I can't say enough good things. This was hands down the best dental experience we've had. I had a scheduled appointment at Dental Fun Zone for 12:00 PM and arrived early at 11:40 AM. Despite being the only patient there at first, I waited for over an hour while the staff saw at least fifteen other patients who arrived after me. Even with a confirmed appointment, there was absolutely no regard for my time or the schedule they set. Their strict policy states that if a patient is ten minutes late, the appointment is cancelled. Yet they seem perfectly comfortable overbooking and keeping patients waiting far beyond any reasonable limit. After more than an hour of being ignored, I ultimately left without being seen. Because of this ongoing pattern of disrespect and poor scheduling, they have lost not only my business but that of eight members of my family. I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking reliable or professional dental care. read more

My children have been patients here for several years. Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience at Children's Dental Fun Zone today. I scheduled a 9:00 AM appointment for my son and ended up being moved back and forth from the waiting room to a patient chair for two hours. After that entire time, staff finally informed us that the doctor who was supposed to perform my son's dental procedure had actually gone home sick an hour earlier. A while after, A male doctor approached asking "hey so I heard you had a question about a tooth?" Considering we'd been sitting for 2 hours it's very discouraging for the doctors to approach you completely unknowledgeable about your visit. This goes to show lack or care and communication within their staff! What makes this even more frustrating is that no one communicated this to us while we were waiting. Instead, we were left sitting there an additional hour with no updates or solutions. During this time, we also watched multiple patients who arrived after us be seen before we were even addressed. When you are dealing with children, communication and respect for families' time should be a priority. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of both. I understand that emergencies happen, but failing to inform waiting patients for over an hour is unacceptable. I hope this office improves its communication and patient management moving forward. read more

Stay away from this office--the worst front desk experience. My son is autistic and cannot wait long, and I informed them in advance. When we arrived, they told me they hadn't even received approval from my insurance, and they didn't bother to notify me beforehand. I ended up driving 30 minutes for nothing. My daughter was 1st time Patient. We were recomended by my dentist at caring tooth dental for 2 cavities.Entering the office I liked that we were greeted right away. My daughter loved the ocean theme wall painting through out the office and the huge fish tank.....with one fish . The office staff front and back were friendly and patient. My daughter had 2 fillings done that day, she did not experience any pain during the treatment. The assistant was friendly made her laugh and it was quick. My son is a 13 year old autistic child who for years has hated the dentist and barely allows them to even touch his mouth. The care by the dentist here is top notch. He got a full cleaning and came out smiling. While my son still needed a few short breaks the dentist remained understanding and helpful even changing the flavor of the tooth paste after he noticed my son had issues tolerating the taste. Everyone is always very nice and help the children feel comfortable The reason for the three stars is because I received a letter in the mail stating "make and appt. Within two weeks of receiving this letter and you will get a giftcard 9am-2 pm" I show up give it to reception and she comes back stating her manager said it's only Mon- Fri. Okay maybe that should be specifically mentioned on the letter. After all the calls and text myself and my husband received that he needed his 6months follow up. Also as a working mom who can not bring her child during the week and its during school hours is not okay. It's not about the gift card but the principal of what the letter states Tha manager decided NO is NO and that's how it was left. *So if you receive a letter just know it's Mon-Fri 9am-2pm so you have to miss work and child misses school. read more

We absolutely love this dental office . Everyone who works here is amazing. I have never had any issues or confusion or anything negative happen here. They are all amazing and kind to me and my child . They joke with him and listen to him and really take the time to show and explain things to him and also to me if required. They have child friendly movies on for the kids and most chairs have their own t.v so a few differnt movies might be playing ...which is cute . They really do their best to make the kids expierence positive and not scary . We have never felt rushed. I have been taking my kids to Children's Dental FunZone for over 10 years. Today I had an appt for my some to have son cavities filled. I took time off work to bring him to the appt. Our appt was at 3 pm. We got there at 2:50 checked in and sat down. An hour goes by still waiting in the lobby. There was no communication from the staff that we would be waiting that long. Finally I asked if we were going to be up soon, and shortly after they called us in. We then waited in the room for another 45 min. The assistant told us the Dr would be in soon...... then the Dr proceeded to go to another patient.... 2 hours of waiting with no warning of this long wait at all. So I decided 2 hours was enough. I asked for my child's X-rays and left. If I had been told when I checked in that the wait was over two hours I would have been upset but I would have just rescheduled. The lack of communication and the clearly overbooking patients was just too much. I will not be returning to Children's Dental FunZone. read more

The last several times we went we wait 30+ minutes after our appt start time. Went again today for treatment my appointment was at 10:00 am and wasn't taken back until after 11:00 am. So annoying. Why even make appointments if they won't follow them! I had signed a paper yesterday saying my total was 238. Today they tried to charge me 278. I corrected them and was only charged 238.
