5 stars, both Dr. Alhabli and her team! Our 1 year old broke his tooth about a month ago. Dr. A. was very cautious due to his age and we watched the tooth closely over a month. Once a the nerve was affected, she acted quickly to extract. She and her staff gave us the expectations of the extraction and they delivered! Our son is doing great and so am I! They treat you as one of their own and they truly care about whatever you're going through. So many thanks to Kids Dental!!!! read more

Don't go here if you value your time! Since the new dentist is here it's no good. Waited an over an hour after my appointment time. Mind you this is after a new cancelation policy (new to me) saying there gonna charge $75 for being late and no shows, saying their time is valuable. Well I'm here to tell you so is mine! I hate to give bad reviews, but I'm highly disappointed. I checked with my insurance company AND called this office to confirm this dentist was in network. I was told he was. I then received a bill for $174 and thought it was a mistake because my insurance offers full coverage for routine dental appointments. I called the office's billing department and was told they've never accepted my kind of insurance and even said they have notes from a call that I was informed of this prior to my daughter's appointment, which is absolutely not true. I did call, but I was told he was in network. I also read another review from a few months ago that is so incredibly similar to mine, I can't help but think they know exactly what they're doing. At the very least, they didn't take the last reviewers feedback. Why in the world would I choose a regular dentist for regular routine cleanings that was out of network when there a tons in network in town? If I hadn't done my research, I'd absolutely take the blame, but I did and was given incorrect information (not to mention the note taking that is not true). They "met me halfway" and charged me half. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Recently moved here from Florida and was in search for a good dental practice geared towards kids They had great google reviews ( now wondering how many are staff written ) so I chose here . BIG MISTAKE!! If you have children under 7 don't waste your time !! It's a CHILDREN dental group that charge 125 $ EXTRA if you have a child they consider " fidgety " or needs " a little more time to prep " and a 45$ for oral sedation ( currently studying and you should be warned small kidneys and livers should NOT take this ) they will say it's optional but FORCE it on you ! I had to speak with a manager after my appointment to be refunded the " optional oral sedation 45$ and behavior management fee of 125$ " after explaining they did NOTHING special in time nor did my child have the oral sedation drink smh what a headache!! Be warned stay away with smaller children !! A kids dental group that charges EXTRA to deal with children .. smh... THE IRONY OF THAT! Yes it's pretty everything that looks nice is not. read more

So Sarah had been calling me requesting me to pay a "past due" balance from a previous visit for my son when my son had dual insurance coverage at the time. I told her once again he had insurance at the time of visit. She wasn't too polite and told me if the $75 balance wasn't paid by Friday 1 week from the day she called me then they were sending to collections. I told her not to do that and if need be I would pay cash. She then hung up. Several minutes later Sarah called back with a slightly different attitude and told me she checked their records and found I was in fact correct my son had dual coverage at the time of visit and she took take of the balance and there was nothing to worry about. I have recently changed to this office for my kids. The staff are very friendly, the back office staff are super sweet and gentle with my kiddos. 2 of my 3 kiddos are very difficult when it comes to dental appointments. So having a staff be fast and gentle is the best. read more

Ive been brining my son here for over 3 years. The dentist is very nice and experienced with young children, & the assistants explain everything to the children about what to expect. They make them very comfortable during their dental visit. The only thing I dont like is the cramp space by the exam rooms (parent waiting area). But other than that everyone is very nice & helpful. read more

Apparently employees can't be bothered with giving proper directions! I had a 8:30 appointment and was sent all over Hanford to multiple buildings! The first place is where gps sent me "there old location" so they sent me over to "the new location " than once I got there they said I was at the wrong place and needed to go back to where I was but into a different building! IDIOTS! Wasting my time because they couldn't simply give me directions over the phone when I made the appointment. And can we talk about how RUDE the women in the "new location were" . Guess I have to go to Fresno to find a decent dentist for my son since there is NO WAY IN HELL I would ever go back here again read more

Been taking my son here for a few years. Staff is very nice and accommodating. My son has a sensitivity to light & they give him glasses to help with that. Dr. Elick is very good with the little ones. I also think it's fun that he gives the kids get a coin for a present at his many goodie quarter machines. Would recommend. read more

I'm hoping this review may be helpful to parents looking for a new pediatric dentist. We recently moved here, made an appt for end of April. Took about 3.5 weeks to get an appt, which I find to be average for busy pediatric dentists. Staff was very nice and professional. We arrive 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Waiting area has TV and a really neat fish tank for kids, but not much else. Waiting room filled up VERY fast to where there was no room to sit and patients were going out into the foyer area to wait. We kept waiting and waiting. Watching all the other people come in after us get called was slightly frustrating without an acknowledgment about how long we were waiting. Another new patient there for a consult said they had been waiting over an hour. After about 40 min, I pick up my cranky un-napped 2 year old and tell the lady that I'm going to have to reschedule. Just then (of course) we get our name called. We walk back and there is ANOTHER waiting room that is packed with kids and parents, nowhere to sit. My 2 year old is off the chain by this point, trying to run everywhere, screaming, no one there to acknowledge how long we all had been waiting. We waited for another 15 min or so. I quickly saw this was going to keep going on. After an hour of being there I scoop up my 2 year old and tell them thanks, but I was leaving and I needed to reschedule. Not a good first impression. I also want to add they do not offer silver diamine fluoride or SDF for young children with cavities that prevents further decay without doing a filling. It's probably one of the greatest things since sliced bread. It prevented my 2 year old from having to deal with sedation. The dentist just paints in on the cavity area every 6 months and off he goes! Why they don't offer this service is beyond me. I wouldn't want to do a filling on a 2 year old. I hope this office will consider it one day. For now, we found an AWESOME pediatric dentist that does it in Visalia. Got us in for an appt same day and had no wait. I definitely don't expect that quick of service, but waiting an hour to be seen is subpar. read more

Took my stepson here after being referred from another dentist. We spent over an hour waiting. They booked 25 kids for the exact time then made us wait when they ran out of chairs. The staff is friendly, that's probably the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. They gave him xrays; cool. Figured they would've sent them from the other place, but okay. They cleaned his teeth when we were supposed to be here for an extraction? His roots from his dead tooth falling out are still in his head? I'm sorry, I've been here for an hour and a half, it's NYE. Like get organized, stop overbooking, and maybe be more clear as to why you're doing the things you're doing. 10/10 definitely, do NOT recommend. read more

My husband and I took out four kids for a checkup and cleaning, the wait was a bit because all four of their appointments at the same time, but once we got back there it was pretty quick, but thorough. The x ray rooms are right where your kids can see you and we were able to be right next to them when they got their cleanings. All of the staff were amazing with the kids, our five year old son is a bit scared of the dentist, but because of how great the staff is you wouldn't know it! read more

Our daughter needed two fillings on her back teeth, and after searching around we decided on Dr. Elick. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The staff were pleasant and helped us fill out the necessary paperwork. Dr. Elick is a very nice man and it was obvious he loved his job. He did a great job at making our daughter Emma comfortable. We waited about 15 minutes once they took us back and the procedure lasted from start to finish about 30 mins. The staff were all very nice to us, and I would definitely recommend this dentist for your kids dental needs. read more

We use to see a very popular dentist company in Fresno until recently. They wanted way to much money for some dental work my daughter needed and only suggestion was general sedation to get it done. Our insurance wouldn't cover it so someone suggested we get a second opinion from Dr. Elick. Not only was his recommendation nearly a third of the price but he was willing to split it up over multiple visits so we wouldn't have to put her under. He has been so amazing to us. Not only him but everyone in the office just seems all around warmer. The old office we went to it was like they wanted you to get in and out as quickly as possible so they can make more money. This office seems like they take the time to make sure your comfortable and let me tell you with a 3 year old with anxiety issues that really means a lot to us. read more

Wow, my experience at Dr Elick's office was GREAT! All he sees is kids, and we loved the way he had an large examination room with 5 chairs. It made my kids feel so comfortable seeing there were other kids doing the same thing. The staff is pleasant and kid friendly. read more

I agree with the previous post and have the same complaint. It took me two weeks to get someone to just schedule an appointment for my son to be seen. I was tols that the person in charge of making the appointments was only there from 8-9 am and 5-6 pm by extension only. When I tried to complain to the office manager sher did not care. She made me cry with frustration before she hung up on me. When I went to pick up my x-rays I asked to speak to the dentist himself and was told by same office manager that she had worked as his manager for 31 years and I would not be seeing him. This was after i had paid in cash for a almost 4,000 proceedure which I promptly had them refund. Their complete lack of professionalism and customer service makes it amazing to me that he has business at all. No wonder they are note a part of the Better Business Bureaus. It is also comforting that I am not alone in my experience. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS OFFICE BUSINESS THE STAFF DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!! That said the doctor himself was a professional with good customer service. I hope he reads this and takes care of the problem. Every member of the staff I spoke to on the phone was rude. ANd I agree the office was overcrowded and cramped. read more
