Kids Empire Gilbert is a wreck. We use to go all the time but have decided it's not worth the headache. First of all how hard is it to open on time. The last 3 times we went at opening and sat there for 30 minutes before they allowed people in. Second the payment process is ridiculous. The will have one cashier open even tho there are three, while you see employees chatting it up in the snack bar. Then just recently they no longer accept card payments. They tell you to go down to Dillards to the atm. It's not easy taking a excited toddler that thought he was going to have fun and telling him we have to get back in the hot car to run to Dillards before we can go in. Place has really turned into a dumb. Trust me you will have issues here take your business to people that appreciate it like giggles, altitude, and so many more. I will never step foot in Kids Empire Gilbert again. read more

I brought my toddler there twice. He enjoyed it even if there was no trampoline. Second time was on 05/05/2022. We used the huge pink slide. I was wearing leggings (spandex/nylon) that day. As we went sliding down, my body shifted towards the left, I felt my bottom burn and the next thing I knew my leggings burnt and ripped from friction which left me a blister. It was so painful I had to touch it. It was bad. I couldn't let it go so I told the employees. All they said was "oooh sorry". I asked my son to bring me jeans to change. When I used their BATHROOM, which REEKED LIKE SEWER that nobody seems to clean, I took a picture of the blister. Yes, I need proof that it happened. On the way out, I showed the burnt leggings to the employees and again all the guy said was sorry. I had to ask for the customer service because I wanted to bring the incident to their attention. That day I emailed customer service the receipt and my leggings for proof. DANILO ROMERO responded the same day and said "they started a ticket to address the issue" I waited until 05/20/2022 to follow up on a resolution. No reply. He never contacted me again. Last week I went to a public park, I saw a lady who brought a kid she babysits the first day we visited this place. I told her about what happened and she said "yes, you should leave a rating and tell them what happened". Apparently, she also used that slide with the little kid and burned her side of the body but she didn't bother reporting it just because she didn't get a blister. These people don't care if you get hurt as long as they are making $$$ If you ever visit this place, please be careful of that pink slide. read more

Overall it's a nice play to come play. But I have twin girls and they said they had a tot area. Well this tot place is very small and doesn't have a gate, which means I was running around the entire place trying to find my 2 year old twins. Also I spent almost $100 for 4 kids just to enter !!! That was insane. Plus they won't let you bring outside food in and make you buy their own stuff which of course is over priced. Way too expense for this place. I will not be coming back. read more

The employees were unfriendly and unhelpful. The QR code, for registration, not working. When the staff was asked if that happens often "yea, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't". Had to go to a monitor and retype all the info already entered previously. Twice. No instructions from staff RE shoes or storage of shoes. The bins (located myself) apparently to be used for storing shoes, did not fit inside the storage cubbies. Storage cubbies not visible from lobby. Had to inquire about what to do with shoes. read more

This place is not run well, at all. From the bottleneck entrance getting into the place to the jungle gym free-for-all, with no monitoring of the kids, it's unfortunate. Not to mention the bathrooms were disgusting and the air conditioning was broken in the middle of the summer. Wish this would have been set up better. read more

Great area for kids to play but check in can last up to 45 minutes. They do not have a good system. If you have a birthday party here make sure to just keep your own cupcakes and cake so you can give it out right after pizza. read more

***ATTENTION*** If you're reading this, I hope it's not too late for you to back out of planning your next birthday party here! We came here as a family a couple weeks prior to our party and had a great time. The place is massive and there's a lot of fun things for young kids to do. We decided that it would be a great idea to bring a group of our friends and family here for a birthday party. We've never forked up the money to do an all inclusive party, but we decided we were going to splurge for the first time. The night before the party they called and asked if we were still coming. We told them that we were, but it was almost like they forgot about us and were hoping we would say no. Red flag #1. They called again the following morning and again asked if we were still coming. Once again we reaffirmed that we were. Red flag #2. 30 minutes prior to the party we were contacted by a "manager" (supposedly there is no manager, but Lawrence is the closest thing to it) and told that they forgot to order a cake and that we might want to pick one up on our way. At this point we were already planning on everything being taken care of on their end and did not have the time to run and purchase a cake. Luckily we found a cake at Costco last minute, but that was an out-of-pocket expense and a major inconvenience. From the time that we got there to the time that we left we didn't receive anything that we paid for. For a $400+ birthday package, we were absolutely ripped off. We were promised an "exclusive party leader" for the entire 3 hour party. Our party leader showed us to our table and then was stuck at the front the rest of the time checking people in either because they were understaffed or the other workers were being lazy and hiding in the back. This was annoying because our party guests ended up being the ones to help facilitate the party. They had to go up front to grab plates, cups, utensils, napkins, candles, cake cutter, lighter, etc. We were promised a "Birthday Parade with Huggy" the dragon mascot. Even though it's advertised everywhere, we were told that they don't have him at this location yet. We never received "goodie bags for each kid" and mentioned that upon check out and were told that they would grab them for us right then, but our entire party had already left. Getting your guests into the party is an absolute fiasco. We had guests who just wanted to stop by for a bit and drop off a gift, but they still had to fill out a waiver and buy socks if they didn't have any. They are very bad at opening the gate and we had to walk up every single time a new guest arrived to validate them and speed up the process. Just to top it all off, the birthday certificate that we received for our child had her name spelled wrong. Also, pray that your child doesn't get injured here. We had a child scraped his arm and they did not have a first aid kit on hand. They just slapped some cotton balls and tape on it and sent him on his way. Due to the last minute cake mishap, we were promised by the "manager" that we would receive a discount upon check out. However, when we went to check out the "manager" had left for the night. Thus, we were left with the highly unintelligent teenagers that run the entire place. They said that there was nothing they could do to adjust the price and were giving us a lot of bad body language and attitude. They told us that we needed to pay full price for everything upfront and contact a generic email that was supposedly "corporate". Overall, spare yourself the stress and headache of doing your birthday party here. Ultimately the kids had a good time which is the most important thing, but all of the adults were ripping their hair out the entire time trying to make up for the lack of professionalism from the staff. read more

This place is great for kids of all ages.... But the lack of control this place represents is concerning ... the toddler/baby section was mobbed with older kids... 150lb grown kids in an area where there's 15-30lbs babies.. I understand the parents should be controlling this as well but there should be staff enforcing the separation for safety reasons !!!! There's a bunch of young high school kids here working .. which is fine.. but for it being my first time they had zero excitement nor greeted me as I walked in. I also waited nearly 5 mins for them to unlock the gate for us to leave because they were too busy talk & on their phones. Pick better employees and enforce safety better! read more

Way too expensive now. We used to come every weekend at $15 per kid. They've increased that over the course of the last two years to $24 per kid which is nuts considering there are so many other spots under the $18 mark. The all day access sounds nice in theory but never actually use it. Highly recommend going to urban jungle (way more to do) or the idea museum. It's where we now take our kids and recommend all of our friends do the same. read more

We came here with our 2 year old for the first time last week and had so much fun! It was very clean and the jungle gym and slides were so fun even for us adults! my friends and I will not go here anymore. Is it cool? Yes. Our kids love it but it is insanely overpriced. There is no membership option or locals discount. You spend so much money just to have a day pass. The biggest joke of it all...they charge the same for my 1 year old as they do for my big kid even though there's no way my 1 year old could go on the big jungle gym and is confined to the small little area for babies. read more

I am soooo shocked that this place is still open. 6 months ago the price was $15 per kid. Now it is $25 a kid. Not worth the money at all. The staff is super cranky and they do not clean anything. The ball pit is really dirty and has chunks of hair in it and weird stuff stuck to the balls. I am not surprised that this place is pretty empty. This place is so poorly organized that it is surprising and unbelievable. If they'd just visited Uptown Jungle or Urban Air then they could have followed their lead. This is our first and last visit. We are here for a party. You walk in and the small lobby offers no instructions. So you get in line and after waiting forever (bc there are only 2 registers), you are told to sign the waiver. The waiver kiosks are tucked in a corner Unlike other places where you see them when you walk in. Then you fill out the waiver and wait in line AGAIN forever only to be told you have to be in socks to get in. I get my kid to take off his shoes and we head in. We are THEN told that parents have to have socks too. What?! So I have to buy socks. Then we are told we need a bucket to carry our shoes in. We have to go back into the secure lobby and get a bucket. ALL OF THAT just to get in. And then there are no signs indicating which party is for which kid! So we are wandering party to party carrying a gift and my purse and a bucket of shoes asking "who Is this party for?" I do not recommend this place and I hope never to return. read more

Called to see if adults had to wear socks, and the employee said only kids are required. So after filling out the waiver, the cashier asked if I had socks. I said, "no". The cashier indicated that we did have to wear socks. Which is fine I understand that, if they would have gave me correct info when calling them that would have been great. If I could give it zero stars I would. I went to this location today with my niece and nephew and while they were playing I noticed poop on the ground at the base of the big pink slide. I alerted the employees and they proceeded to place a chair over the poop and take 10 mins to come back with paper towels and no disinfectant. Then, a mom noted there was liquid fecal matter all over the play zone. They didn't evacuate the zone or even try to close down the whole facility. I am absolutely appalled that they would allow kids to be exposed to harmful bodily fluids. We left.....and they were still checking people in with no alert to the giant pile of poop dispersed throughout the facility. DONT GO! I took my daughter here to celebrate her 4th birthday. Within 15 minutes of being in the establishment my daughter had been knocked over by a pre-teenager running around (they really should have age limits). As I went to go help my daughter, my jacket, my husbands jacket and my Stanley cup was stolen from us. The staff at the front didn't seem to care or help. This place doesn't even deserve a star! We had my daughters birthday here, which the price was okay if I would have received everything that was supposed to be included. The staff were extremely short handed (4 people) which didn't help on a busy Saturday with multiple parties going on! I asked for my party host multiple times at to one point I asked to speak to the manager or get their information and I was literally told by at 16 year old, "Well you are here now aren't you?" Taken back by her question, so my husband stepped in to get an email at least from the individual. My husband emailed and we still haven't heard back! I was presently surprised with the kids play area. I read the reviews before going and was hesitant but we wanted to take our son somewhere new so we decided to come anyway. We signed our waiver online ( highly recommend if it's your first visit) to avoid waiting and doing it when we got to the place. We brought our own grip socks but you can purchase them there as well. I like that the staff has to buzz to open the gate for you enter and leave. The place definitely was busy and a bit chaotic in front when everyone is trying to pay and get in. Great large playing area for the older kids. My son really enjoyed playing and kept him busy. The young baby/ toddler section was okay. I wish it was bigger and had more things for them to play in. Also it would be nice to have a gate at the entrance so the toddlers stay in the play area and it's not as easy for them leave. My only complaint was Supervision of the kids. I barely saw and staff in the play area to make sure kids were being safe. Yes, the parents are there watching the kids but still. All the staff was in front. I also noticed that there is an exit in the back of the play area. I'm not sure if it stays locked or if there is a sound that goes off if someone tries to leave . read more

Horrible Place! They are in business to steal money from their customers by offering zero refunds for any reason. This policy is not posted anywhere. The staff members are immature, unprofessional, and rude! I took three girls, all age 12, to the Gilbert location. I should have been more informed, but this being our first time at this business, I thought I could just drop them off. I left the family dog in the car (with the air conditioning on) for the few minutes to check in. When I was told I could not leave the girls unattended, I said ok. The girls went through the gate to the play area, and I went out to check on the dog and to call my husband to retrieve the dog, so I could stay. Brooklyn (the "manager") chased me out the door, yelling that I must not leave my children unattended. I told her I was just checking on my dog, in the car. I was also on the phone with my husband, working out pickup of the dog. She demanded that I come back inside immediately, or the kids would have to leave. I went back inside and told her the girls would not be staying. I asked for my money back, and she said she cannot give refunds, and that I must email corporate to ask for a refund. After reading reviews here, I doubt I will ever hear from corporate. The three girls I took paid separately, with their own cash money. They were in Kids Empire for less than 10 minutes and did not play on anything. Brooklyn would not give them their cash back that they had just spent, minutes before. As far as I am concerned, they stole money from 12 year old girls. I will email corporate, but I don't expect to see the money again. We left and went to Big Air, where the employees are nice, professional, and they don't steal your money. Big Air is a better place for preteens and teens anyway. We will never go back to Kids Empire. I would not be surprised if they go out of business soon. Save your money, and go somewhere else. Brooklyn and the rest of the staff here are awful! read more

Worthless place. They were unable to provide me a receipt as they had no paper. Right after I paid and entered I asked for the Wi-Fi password, and was told it was not working. I only brought my kids here so that I could get work done while they play. I drove all the way from Pinal County, at six dollars a gallon of gas and 90 miles round-trip. So I immediately asked for a refund and was told they cannot get a refund. What a joke this place is. Lastly, they used to have tokens for the games and now have a card, but the signs and menus all still say tokens. read more

This structure is not built for anyone older, teen or preteens. The staff here is unfriendly, rigid and lacking empathy. It's obvious this business main concern is to make money and not at all about the quality of their service, nor do they care if the children are having fun. 3/14/22: I brought two kids- 8 & 13 in for playing for the first time. We signed the waiver and paid the fee; $15 per child totaling $33 with taxes. After paying the entry fee, I sent the kids inside and went outside to clean out somethings in my car. During my absence, I told my older child to stay close with the younger child. During my 10 minutes absence, the staff by the name of Brooklyn called my children off from the play structure and held them by the front desk and wouldn't let them play until I come back inside. My preteen texted and called me with panic cuz the staff was very rude and accusatory to them and made her felt like she was doing something wrong. When I came back inside, my older child was completely frazzled and lost her interest. So I asked if I could get a refund for my older child's entry since she doesn't want to play any more. Brooklyn said they don't offer refund. I then asked for a partial credit for the older child's portion so we can use another time for my younger one. Brooklyn said she doesn't see the reason for the credit because my older one had already 'played'. When I questioned her statement and how my children could have played during my 10 minute's absence when they were held by the front desk area, Brooklyn said she went to call my kids off from the structure to bring them to the front desk and since they are already in the play structure, they already played. I corrected her that the mere few minutes of my children on their play structure just barely enough time for my older one to realize this was not built for her age group and if the business truly care about the quality of the service they provide, they should honor the credit so we could use another time on the younger one for whom this place is more appropriately built for. Brooklyn didn't care about my suggestion and instead informed me she should have called the police on me when I left my children here for the 10 minutes I was gone. She pushed me a brochure with their corporate email address and told me i should email the corporate for any possibility of a credit. As far as Brooklyn is concerned, she insisted that my older child did already play and left the structure early and we have no merit in asking for the credit. I will still do my due diligence and email the corporate requesting the credit for the portion we DID NOT use. Wether or not they will honor this credit will reflect how much this place truly care about the quality of their service. 3/19/23: it's been 5 days since my email to them. No response; not even a single acknowledgment. This is by far THE WORST company in customer service! It's official: They got paid and they do not care about your experience. Be warned! read more

After attending a birthday party here on a Saturday, I will never do so again. (No offense to our party host who did a great job) They have a TERRIBLE check-in process-took us almost 30 minutes just to check in. They require adults to wear socks-even if you are just sitting (silly) and much of the staff act like they don't enjoy their jobs. Not to mention the fact they were only accepting cash...on a SATURDAY. My kids love playing here and it's a great setup, but avoid busy days like the plague. read more

At first we were having a great time here. We came when they opened on a Sunday morning and there was hardly anyone there which was great. The front attendants weren't the friendliest nor the most helpful but I don't expect much from teenagers. We filled out the waivers and got to playing with the intentions to play for a bit and come back later after lunch which we did. I will say the play structures are definitely not parent friendly if you want to go up with your toddlers. So when we returned after lunch the check in process was easy and we got back to playing. About 15 minutes later my 4 year old son fell and smashed his mouth on one of the play structures, I didn't see it happen so I'm not sure how he did it but his mouth was bleeding profusely and we carried him up to the front desk to try to get some help which is where the 2 star review comes from. I have my son in my arms and I go up to the counter and the boy working sees that he's bleeding, hands me a paper towel and says there's a water fountain over there, and goes back in to the office. My son is screaming, my daughter is freaking out because he brother is bleeding and we're trying to get the bleeding to stop and he wanted us to rinse his bloody mouth in the water fountain. A few minutes later a female attendant saw that we were still trying to calm my son down and that he was still bleeding so she hands us an ice pack and more paper towels, she was a lot more helpful than the boy I will say that. And the kicker is, I know you sign a waiver at the beginning, but there was never an incident report made or our information taken or anything, it truly felt like the workers could not have cared less that my son was gushing blood from his mouth and all over the floor. And he ended up needing to have his front tooth pulled a few days later from the incident. Moral of the story, it's a fun place but don't get hurt because you won't get helped. read more

I've heard about this place from friends and family and thought this would be a good place to take my kids and get them away from there screens for a bit and it was! My 3 year old daughter had the time of her life. Even my 13 year old son joined in on the fun and enjoyed going down the slides. We walked in with smiles on our faces and left with them. Customer service was great they looked young but knew how to handle buisness and I give them the credit. Definitely will be coming back!! read more

Do not go here!!! My wife and I went there for out granddaughters birthday party. Before you can go into the play are you have to fill out a waiver with a lot of your personal information. We were there just to watch but that's the rules for everyone! Also you have to wear socks even if your not going in the play area. Which my wife wasn't wearing so you have buy their pair for $2.50. DO NOT DO NOT have a birthday party here! Way overpriced and incredibly rude staff. They are understaffed and not properly trained to handle parties.. We showed up at our time slot, they were barely setting up the tables for the party. We didn't have an exclusive party leader, we had to keep going to the desk to get drinks and check if they ordered pizza and cake. They never ordered a cake!! They didn't even have balloons set up until half way through the party, no birthday parade or huggie the mascot. When the pizza got there an employee literally dropped the boxes on top of the plates and walked away. They don't have napkins, they grabbed the industrial roll from the back. They pick and choose who they enforce the sock rules with. On our way out from the disaster of a party, the supervisor yelled at my guest for shoes when there was a man sitting 15 ft from the desk with shoes on and she said nothing to him. This is a complete reflection of Whoever owns this franchise. I physically went to this place 2 different days prior to my party and both staff members complained about having no support there. Huge red flag! They also both seemed completely clueless on how to operate the system to confirm party details. The place itself is great. If your going to have a party AVOID the staff as much as possible and coordinate yourself, save money and don't buy the birthday packages!!! It's been well over a week and have yet to hear back from their "HR". I had multiple parents there who witnessed all of this, none of them would recommend this place either. We had a birthday party here for my son and we arrived 45 minutes ahead of time so that way everything went well ..the kids had so much fun playing and everything , all of our family that attended were sitting and watching the kids ...the only thing was everyone waited to eat and me being the host of the party , I wanted to make sure I had food for everyone , there was over 20 people , I payed for everything before the day of . As I kept asking and asking about the pizza and when it will be out they kept telling me "sorry about that" "I'm not too sure where the pizza is", let me remind you the party started at 5:30pm ,8pm arrived and still NO pizza OR the candy bags that were apart of the party, we asked them as we were having family members leaving and she said "oh yeah it does I'll go ahead and make those for you right now" so I definitely don't recommend doing parties there ...if you just want to have a good time and take the kids DO IT ! It's a fun place ...there were NO ADULTS at all working they were all youngsters and I was really disappointed in the way they acted with many people , one even caused a seen being all loud with someone in front of everyone . Overall the experience made me not want to do a party ever again there ...I'm just glad my son and the other kids were all happy . read more
