Twice now the good doctor has helped us on a whim with a crucial medication adjustment for our autistic child. The nurses who called us back and told us to increase his doses on Dr Pilz behalf both times neglected to document it nor did they call the pharmacy to adjust his prescriptions. This resulted in us running out prematurely which severely impacts our son in a severely negative way. We will continue to use Dr. Pilz because we can tolerate that type of behavior, but those without patience beware. Restructuring the staff to a more attentive pleasant group may be a good move for the practice.

Friendly, caring, listening to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. My annual for this year was scheduled at my last appointment last year, as I do every year. I always make sure to take the day off from work. The DAY BEFORE my appointment this year at 4pm I received a voicemail that was a brief recording saying my appointment has been canceled because the NP was out on leave. (totally understandable BUT TO WAIT UNTIL 4pm ON THE DAY BEFORE MY APPT... UNACCEPTABLE.) I was left completely hanging. I had already made arrangements to take the day off from work and have my kids picked up from school by a relative to make this appt. Whats even more disappointing and frankly bad business is that I NEVER received a call from the staff to reschedule my appointment either. I'm very disappointed as I did like the NP's but will probably not be returning to this office.

They have a "sick" side in the waiting area which doesn't make a lot of sense since you have to walk through it to get to the well side. Only one entrance/exit. That always made me scratch my head. I was in for quite the surprise when I arrived for my appointment. The staff were very helpful and cheerful and I was greeted by Dr. Wendell Wallace. Right away, I noticed a major difference between the two. Dr. Wallace was very informative and went at a smooth pace to keep us moving forward and also complete the minor surgery *properly*. The previous experiences with Dr. Wachtel (again, another doctor not associated with Methuen Podiatry) were all very rushed each time as he had an entire waiting room full of patients to attend to. Noticeable immediately, Dr. Wallace was extremely organized and paid attention to detail and informed me of what he was doing as he went along. Having had the procedure done multiple times prior, what took Dr. Wachtel 5 minutes to rush through and wrap a bloody bandage around, Dr. Wallace completed in maybe 20 minutes with a tidy clean bandage at the end. I am very confident that Dr. Wallace has finally solved this long-time nuisance of mine and you should find the same confidence that he can assist you too.
