The hotel sits in the middle of what I call a planned community. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and plenty of great shopping. There's a country club within walking distance of the hotel, and with a day pass, you can enjoy the amenities. The hotel itself is lovely inside and out. The lobby is spacious, and the color scheme is made up of maroon couches and green chairs, and the area flows into the breakfast area. The high tables are wooden with black and red leather chairs. The bedrooms are more of a suite. The living room and bedroom areas are divided. It's a full living area with a sectional, TV, desk, small refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom is the same, and it is spacious to put all your toiletries. I really love that the shower has a step-up. It's really beautiful place.

A little frustrating at times since the wait is already 30-45 mins. Food is still great. The Cole slaw still the same. Fantastic. Pot of greens still great. We ordered our fish thin and crispy but it is not really thin and crispy. Still really good. We have been back twice since a year break due to the issues they have. Maybe it is one of those things we just don't want to know. Hopefully the kitchen is clean now and issues resolved.

The rooms are very comfortable and dog friendly. The computer downstairs always worked and they would immediately refill the printer when i would ask them to!!

They didn't try and find me another place to stay, they did nothing but stare at me. I ended up driving to 4 other hotels, 7 hours from home mind you, to also be turned away due to being fully booked. I ended up at a hotel 15 minutes from there which reeked of marijuana, and had two biker gangs staying there. The bikers were incredibly friendly but they can't help how loud their bikes are when they pull into and out of the hotel...... now I wake up the next morning with only 4 hours of broken sleep to drive another 4 hours to get to my "vacation". My entire family is exhausted. I wouldn't recommend Hyatt Jackson Place if the next hotel was 100 miles away. Absolutely disgusted with the treatment we received and the carelessness from the staff. I was NEVER sent an email or informed they had made a mistake. I have also never received a follow up email and it's been over a week.
