We live too far to have a party and what looks to be an adorable venue, but had Darth and Kylo Ren visit our local park district for our Star Wars loving 6 year olds bday. Between my 3 kids I've used many character companies in the past and have had many experiences where they showed up late. Since this was my main entertainment for 23 kindergarten boys I was a little paranoid if they'd show up on time...or at all. I had arranged it all with Dan first on phone and then text. It was definitely a handshake deal vs an actual contract, which made me nervous. However, Dan delivered like he did for all other Yelp reviews...and Darth, Kylo and their very enthusiastic leader were early and ready to go right at party time. They did a fabulous job of captivating the kids for an entire hour of jedi training, dancing and other games. There were a few kids that were scared, but I also had a bounce house that kept those kids busy.The bounce house probably took some attention away from the characters, but if anyone is able to compete with a bounce house it's these guys. The bday boy and his friends had such a great time and so many parents at the party asked me where I found them since they were such a hit. My son was pretty sure it was just people dressed up before the party, but after the bash he assured me that Kylo and Darth are the real deal. :) read more

I can't say enough positive things about this family owned and run business! My 5 year old and his friends had the time of their lives at his birthday party. It was action packed with games and activities from start to finish. The party leaders (two "astronauts" because our party was space themed) were spectacular. Highly animated, engaging, playful, energetic, funny, and because they were truly enjoying themselves, so did the children. KKP really has it down beautifully. Wonderful experience with a Batman visit to my sons party. Both Batman and his assistant did a great job of engaging the kids, playing games etc. Minor downsides were that Batman's costume was a bit lacking. Frankly the costume my kid wears that I got at a garage sale is more imposing. Also, the assistant could have modulated her voice a bit for the space - it was extremely loud and would have been perfectly suited to the outdoors or a gym but in our small party room, was really overwhelming. read more

I highly recommend Kids Kustom Parties. We used them to come to us and had an amazing experience. Our event was suppose to be outside at a park and it rained unexpectedly about an hour before the party. They were super accommodating and came to our house instead. We had TMNT Raphael and his assistant. They kept the kids engaged with games and dancing for an hour straight and then took pictures with the kids. My son still talks about it a month later. Kids Kustom Parties exceeded our expectations! This was a wonderful experience both planning with the venue and the execution onsite. The party we selected was a Moana theme for a 4 yr old. I'm one of those Moms who wants to take on everything for the party - baking treats, making decorations, planning games, cleaning the house to PERFECTION (lol) - and its so exhausting. Kids Kustom Parties took care of everything. Not only is the venue decorated to match the theme but they plan out each minute so there is no down time. My husband and I were able to watch our daughter enjoy herself but also catch up with our friends. Honestly, it was RELAXING which is a word you never associate with a kid's birthday party. We recently had our daughter's 4th birthday party at Kids Kustom Parties and it was excellent! Our daughter chose a Cinderella themed party and she was beyond thrilled that the real Cinderella was at her party and played with her the whole time! As soon as we walked into the main room my daughter's eyes lit up and she said it was exactly what she wanted. There were three large screens with a carriage, castle, and ballroom projected on them. The room also had a pretty chandelier and balloons which added to the magical ambiance. The second room of the party had the main table for the kids to eat at which was decorated with princess plates, cups, and napkins. This room also held a craft table for the kids to make royal scepters or superhero shields and there were plenty of games/activities to keep the kids occupied. The final room of the venue is a salon where the girls could have their nails painted and pick out a princess costume to wear during the party. The number of dresses for the girls to choose from was amazing, two full racks with every princess you could imagine! Not only is the venue amazing but the owners are fantastic! Dan, Laura, and their girls do an awesome job of planning all the details and keeping the party running smoothly. The kids were kept entertained during the whole party and there was never a dull moment. It was fantastic to just show up and have everything planned perfectly from the moment our guests arrived to the time they received their goody bags at the end of the party. Love, love, love the staff/owners. We've used the princesses and the facilities several times. Great service. The kids love the characters. When Cinderella came to our party she brought her own props and they took pictures for us. Not to mention each kid received prizes. When we had our Frozen party at the facility we had full use of the entire place. Such a great set up. Pizza and drinks for the kiddos. Games, rides, tattoos, etc. And of course, pictures. We were looking for a place that would provide a princess experience for our soon to be 5 year old daughter and came up empty until we finally found Kids Kustom Parties. They're a family owned business in Palatine located along Northwest Hwy (Yelp does not show the correct location so use Google). The parents oversee management and the two daughters are theater actresses that create a skit customized for your child. The venue: the place is deceptively large, separated into 4 areas: foyer with refreshments for parents (coffee, water, etc), the skit room (with 3 full wall projectors that display your theme, movies etc. ..by far the best in creating the atmosphere and where the actors do their skit, stories, dances etc ), the play room (trampolines, slides, tables for food, etc) and finally the salon room (which had several hair and nail stations for girls, air brush tattoos for boys and a huge selection of costumes for the kids to chose from). The activity: the day of, they took care of everything, all we did was show up, enjoy and walk out. Best party experience ever! They decorate based on your theme (Ariel for us), put up movies in the background for an immersed experience. The girls came out and did their skit which was funny, entertaining and engaging with kids of all ages. After the skit they take the girls transition to a room full of costumes (princess in our case but superhero or star wars for boys), then they do hair and nails for the girls (yep!) and/or tattoos for boys. This is followed by another game, then a craft (we selected wands for girls & Captain America shields for boys), more games, Pizza and apple juice/water followed by cake (all of which is included in the price) and then more games, dances, etc. If you want a fun customized party for your kids, this is the place to go anywhere in the Chicagoland area. We searched and came up empty until we stumbled upon them at a Village Parade. So check them out! read more

She came with this incredible energy and had all of the kids dancing and singing within seconds or arriving. We just had a second party there. First one was last year for my older 4yo and this time now for my younger 3yo. Everything was immaculate. They take care of every little detail: you just need to show up. Themed decorations, plates, utensils, food, and cake. Seriously nothing left and everything is top of the line: no generic junk.
