I was at the athletic center in the shopping center where this salon is located. I needed to get my…read moredaughter's hair braided so I decided to go check them out. I was unaware that it was a braid shop specializing in children's hair. The receptionist came out and ushered us in. She told me a bit about the shop and the services they offer. I thought the price was a little steep for what my daughter wanted but the style came with a wash and beads, and the stylist agreed to braid my daughter's hair wet as I did not want it blow dried, so we moved forward. Ms. Lee Lee did her hair beautifully and she was glittered at the front desk, and out in an hour & 15 mins grinning from ear to ear! The salon was cute. Any little girl would want to be serviced there. There was a comfortable waiting room with couch seating and a large tv that was playing kid appropriate content (I appreciated this because I had my toddler with me as well). They also host birthday parties there. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was not clean or stocked. My daughter's hair lasted a little over a month with a satin cap and consistent moisturizing. Well worth the price! I was pleased with the service provided and plan to return.

Every braiding experience with her is so relaxing and chill, the vibe in the shop has been so consistently positive. I have never had a negative experience. Every staff member I ever come in contact with is so warm and welcoming. Ashley is really something special and anyone who sits in her chair should feel lucky to have found someone with such a pure heart and well intentioned growing hands.

From day one, she's gone above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable -- allowing me to bring my own medicated products, gently working through sensitive areas, and even offering tips for how to manage my scalp health between appointments. She respects my boundaries, checks in with me regularly during services, and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. It's rare to find a stylist who combines technical skill with genuine care -- but Ashley has both. I hate to see her receive negative feedback when I've experienced the exact opposite. She's communicative, thoughtful, and always working to give her clients the best experience possible -- even when juggling a full schedule. If you're looking for someone who understands not just hair but people, and who creates a welcoming space for kids, adults, and those with specific hair/scalp needs -- Ashley is the one.

Ive been surprised twice by final cost. And had to go to Giant to get cash back. This time, I made an appoinment and tell stylist I want a $60 style. Yet, I end up with a $75 style. It wouldn't have been that big of a problem if the style had lasted. You could see the difference between natural and artificial hair. But I dismissed it thinking it was because of the style. The next day the artificial hair was separating where it was added. I was surprised because the previous style lasted 3 weeks (and would have actually been ok another but I wanted her hair washed). You also couldnt tell they were feeder braids. That stylist however no longer works there. I called and sent a picture and no one responded. I called a few days later and a young woman reported her manager would call me back. I have yet to hear from anyone. Very poor customer service.

I asked the lady for two French braids which seems kind of simple to me. After the stylist finished I told her my hair was uneven she says to me 'no its not' what type of comment is that to give to a customer. Not only was I overcharged for something that didn't look that great( even after she did my hair over) she seemed like she had an attitude when I told her the problem. Most area salons charge $15 to $20 per braid and they're charging $30 what a shame it's not like the styles are worth it. Folks don't waste your time or money find another location. #OVERPRICED&INEXPERIENCED
