The two main lovely ladies here, Amparo and Miriam really want you to have the best salon experience at the most reasonable price, and leave happy! I was able to get in same day before closing, and they did an amazing transformation of color to my hair. Amparo knew what I wanted better than I did. . I have a lot of really thick hair, so it usually takes longer than the regular color service, but these two lovely ladies helped each other and got me out of there in great timing! I've been coming to this hair salon for about 6 years now and I've never looked back. I personally go see Amparo and she always carefully listens to what I want and then makes great suggestions, next thing you know she works her magic. I hadn't been to the hair salon in six months and wanted to go lighter, she suggested I also get my base coat changed since mine had turned orange after months of washing my hair ect. She is meticulous and takes her time for the best results. Plus in light of the whole covid crisis she's taken into account a responsible protocol in her establishment and I felt safe to be there. Really great experience! I went to this salon as a walk-in. I was promptly greeted and fit in to their schedule. I believe Eva was the one who waited on me. I was not sure of the exact hair cut I wanted so she provided me a tablet and let me browse through the options. She was very patient and helpful. I am fairly new to this area and had gone to two other salons prior to trying out Adan & Eva. I felt the salon at the mall was over priced and not nearly as attentive. The particular stylist at the second salon (Old Keen Mill Shopping Plaza) was not as skilled as Eva. Adan & Eva Hair Salon is easily my "Go-To" salon. read more

This place is absolutely wonderful. My new hairstylist Dunya was amazing! She is very professional and polite. She takes her time with her clients. I took both of my grown daughters after, and they loved her. I booked an appointment for 3, and waiting wasn't an issue knowing I'd have a great stylist taking care of us!!! Ive gone in before for the first tine to quickly get my hair done for a quinceañera, they did my hair quickly and it looked nice. I came back a few days later for a haircut and was told I needed an appt. I set up an appt for the next day but when I got home they called to cancel on me. The next day I called to see if they were free but was rejected. I made an appt for the next day and was all ready. I showed up two minutes early and was told to wait. I thought it was normal so I sat down. I then proceeded to wait an hour for a simple haircut. But because I enjoyed the outcome I PROCEEDED TO COME AGAIN and then waited MORE than an hour, got my ear burned, wasted my time when I informed them I was in a rush. I wanted a hairdo and came w my hair pre washed and then they washed it again for no reason. If I could give zero I would but I can't. read more

Miriam did an AMAZING job on my over processed, truly ugly hair. I went in with a wish that my roots could be done and not a hope that the color that I went to 3 salons in a week to achieve would be possible after the absolute wreck I was left with. Miriam immediately listened to what I wanted and even read my mind before I could tell her all my hair dreams. I have never had a stylist listen to me like she did, and especially deliver on the highlights and toning. I also needed a trim and additional layers for my very curly hair. Miriam was so nice the entire time and was as invested as I was in the result. AND THEY HAVE OLAPLEX! It isn't even available at the "top" salon close by. This place deserves the top spot. I went in not even having faith that I wouldn't be told to go back to my natural dark hair. Miriam went above and beyond what I really wanted and she has a client for life... which is saying something because my mother is also a stylist and I can get my hair done for free. The price of services was also very reasonable for the amazing quality. I am so happy that my hair disaster has turned into my absolute favorite highlights and toning ever! I have known Amparo and Miriam for over 10 years. They are the best at what they do. I have really thick, curly and normally keep my hair really long. I trust them completely and love the results of every visit. I've done keratin there, color, hair cuts, blow dry and styling tons of times. I take my 14 year old daughter there as well to get her hair done all the time just for fun or for events or cheer competitions. But again they truly make magic happen. Just look at some of my before and after pics. Plus beyond the amazing work, they have great prices and the best customer service and atmosphere where you always feel welcomed. Atmosphere: Smaller basic salon. Nothing too fancy. Appointments are nice but they also take walk ins. Ample free parking. Price: $-$$ (men's, kids are reasonable) Service: Good. Basic but friendly and clean. I've come here a few times now. There's an older lady that usually colors it and can do most cuts. I usually walk out happy but feeling like I overpaid a little. For the $150-190 for a cut & color plus tip, I want to leave feeling a certain type of way and I just haven't gotten that from here. However, because it's so convenient and they can usually accommodate my spur-of-the-moment hair appointments, I keep coming here. Some of the other salons can't get me in for weeks and I don't have patience for that. I usually get a full blonde highlight and a mid-length cut. I don't know if I'd feel too comfortable getting something drastic here. More for your basic cut & color needs. (Side note: I brought a male friend once to get a cut and he came out looking decent. He never came back, but I personally think it came out looking good.) Overall, I'll likely come back again until I'm ready for a big transformation. They know me and have a sense of what I like. read more

I booked an appointment ahead of time, wasn't a walk in, and was a returning customer. I went in for a blowout and Miriam didn't say hello, washed my hair, and left me sitting there for 45 minutes. She walked out of the salon to get herself lunch and then didn't bother to blow dry my hair. Eventually her mother finished my hair and Miriam sat in the back and wouldn't come out. No idea what her problem was, but grow up. Just because it's a blowout and not a very costly service doesn't mean you get to treat the customer like garbage. Because of her, I missed my interview. I won't be returning due to the terrible service and disrespect. read more

Got an appointment via phone for same day in Sunday. No wait once we arrived. Stylist gave my 12 year old the exact cut based on photo. She worked very meticulously and we were very satisfied. Only $25 for wash and cut. Will be coming back. read more

It had been months since I got a trim and needed one desperately. I was seen promptly on a Sunday morning, even without and appointment. I asked about halfway through if there was time for a toner touch up to my highlights that were getting very brassy and the stylist had no problem adding that service. Price was less than I expected and the color results and trim were amazing. She listened when I said I only wanted a simple trim with a few layers. I will be back here for sure! read more

I've had Brazilian blowouts at several salons in the DMV, everywhere from high-end salons to salons offering Groupon deals. Adan & Eva offered a mid-range price for a very high-end treatment. So I've been to this salon a few times and I've had good experiences but honestly i went here maybe 2 weeks ago for a haircut and it's absolutely terrible in my opinion. My hair is all sorts of different lengths and looks choppy also cut too short. I'm really disappointed. I even tried to get my hair fixed at a different salon and they said that the way my hair was cut it would be difficult to fix. read more

I have been coming to Maria Luz for about two years now to get haircuts. I show her sample photos from Pinterest And she always listens carefully to my needs. Being that it was my first time coloring my hair, I was pretty nervous but she was very patient and did her best to match the description of what I wanted. I got a full color, foil highlights and haircut. She did an amazing job! Once I was not happy with a haircut and a few days later I called her to tell her I wanted more layers and that I wasn't happy, she told me to come in and she fixed it to my liking without any charge. I needed a salon which would cut my hair in privacy. I called a couple of places and Amparo accommodated me the same day (Sunday). She gave me the best cut and color I've ever had! I wanted an even color in my natural shade of black/brown with red tones. She brought the color palette hair samples and carefully spent time until I was satisfied. Color took 40 minutes. Meanwhile I asked about the Brazilian blowout and decided to get one. My hair was triple washed with shampoo (making sure no men were there); the assistants washing my hair need more training as I felt my hair was pulled at times during washing and combing- but that was the only complaint I have. My cut was precisely to my liking. After the blowout the final look was fantastic. I look 20 years younger and the salon workers kept complimenting my hair. I also bought blowout products and Argan and walked out an extremely happy customer. Highly recommended, ask for Amparo! read more

I don't recommend. Maria Luz spent a good 15 minutes on a boy kindergarteners hair during my appointment. His dad came in stating they didn't have an appointment. I was waiting patiently as she talked in Spanish back and forth with him. She apologized and then quickly finished with me- took less time on my hair than the little boy. I thought she might take more time and care with me since I was paying more and I had an appointment but that didn't happen. Invest more in your new customers. read more

Scheduled appointment quickly and little wait to see stylist. Asked for a specific color and the stylist said it was no problem. After the bleach was already on the majority of my hair and sitting for a good 20 minutes the stylist says that the color they have is not that great and that she has a great color at home and if I come back another day she can finish my request. I had specifically asked for purple and she showed me a light pink which I was not ok with. Then she asked if I could put a dark red and after the color had been finished it was more of an orange brassy color which is not what I wanted. If I had known from the beginning that she could not fulfill my request I would not have unnecessarily damaged my hair with bleach. When I walked out my hair was the same color as I walked in which was satisfactory but overall it was an unhappy and disappointing experience. read more

Went here with my daughter for the first time. We both had Amparo do our hair. Amparo is Amazing with color! My hair cut and color was perfect and easy to care for. My daughter is so happy with the results of her hair. The color she and Amparo selected (with highlights) fits her perfect. We took a chance to visited this one a couple years ago (worn out with the aweful experiences at Harcuttery next store). It was a great decision! We have been loyal customers since. My son and I dont speak a lot of spanish (college/high school classes only) so at first were a bit shy with them.
