Strollers were way over priced for the quality, and the owner was very rude. I wouldn't recommend going here.

In a pinch I needed new shoes for dance classes, and I remember another reseller had a dance area,…read moreso I took a shot and checked out b2b, and boy oh boy! I found 2 pairs for tap shoes for my son and daughter, for less than $10!! The dance shop wanted at least $45. Crazy because they're barely used looking, as I know kids feet grow so fast, so it seems really eco friendly to get used. I am thrilled! The pair for my son looks like boys and my daughters are for girls. There was so much! Aside from that, so much clothing options, I will be back.

I've been coming here to sell items during a tough time, and while I appreciate having a local…read moreresell option, I've run into something that doesn't sit right with me. On more than one occasion, I've walked in only to notice my items already displayed on the sales floor BEFORE I was even given a price offer, paid, or gave them permission to keep those items. This raises serious concerns: What if I didn't agree to the price they wanted to offer me? What if they sold my items from underneath me before I had a chance to decide if I wanted to accept their offer? As a seller, I should have the right to approve or decline an offer BEFORE my items are put out for sale. The way this has been handled feels rushed, unprofessional, and honestly disrespectful to the people who bring in inventory and keep that shop running. I want to continue to support local resale, but I also want to see more transparency and respect for sellers' consent in this process!

I haven't been to a TJ Maxx in quite some time, but I needed some new lamps and figured it would be…read morea good place to try because it's also connected to Home Goods. Overall, there have been some changes, and so far they don't seem to be good ones. First of all, right when you walk in, there's a person standing dead center of the entrance, staring you down in what looks like a mix between security guard gear and combat gear. I don't know enough about the shapes of the compartments on the black vest to know if she was armed with a firearm or not, but the head to toe black getup seemed very intimidating. Which perhaps is their goal if the intention is security. Either way, definitely doesn't give off a welcoming vibe. I've been to high-end stores, particularly in Europe, where they do have a security guard upfront, but the approach is different... More of a tall gentleman in a black suit kind of look. That doesn't interfere with the shopping experience as much in my opinion. The store is currently undergoing some renovations, so the fitting rooms and then one other area were closed off and covered with blue tarps. I understand sometimes you have to renovate so while it would've been nice to try on the clothing I ended up looking at in a fitting room, I understand sometimes that's not possible. Something else I noticed is that there's a lot more security in terms of the items on the shelves or where they're hanging. There's some things that you can't even browse without hitting a button or getting a store assistant's help. It just feels like a lot of things are locked down, which again gives the impression that there's a lot of theft at this store, which again takes away from the overall enjoyment of the shopping experience. One of the things I love about going to a brick and mortar store is looking at the displays and the beautiful merchandise... This interrupts that vibe. Ultimately, I did find some great items and was pleased with what I got, but at the end at the checkout, the associate asked me three times within just a few minutes if I wanted to get the TJ Maxx credit card. I listened to his whole spiel the first time and then politely declined. Then as he was bagging up my items, he proceeded to ask me again, citing additional benefits and I said no thank you I really don't need it. Then when he was about to take my payment, he asked me one more time. This just feels excessive, especially given the short window of interaction. I understand this is most likely the corporate policy, but it felt very pushy to me.

There are signs throughout, so it is relatively easy to find the area you are hoping to shop in. Each time I've come to search for something, I have not had any luck. The main reasons I have not bought anything here are either of it. Nothing fits my frame/style (This store is much more geared towards women than juniors, and business/cocktail attire than anything casual), and that the price point is high above competitors I shop at. Overall, I do not think I am their target market, but I am shocked that people come in and spend what they do for items you can get cheaper elsewhere. Probably just a matter of opinion, but I do not frequent this store often for that reason. I do know a lot of friends who get great deals with within the shoe clearance area -- this seems to be what they're known for! I looked around, and did see some decent deals, but nothing that I needed. Overall, I would come back here to shop at the shoe clearance, but probably nothing else.
