I like that you are provided with new gloves to use and keep. Places in the past have lettuce used old ones that we returned. I think it would be nice to have that option available to customers. Also, ideally the finger parts of the gloves would be a little bit longer because I did get some cuts on my fingers where they stopped. You have to sit through a training which is about 15 to 20 minutes long which feels long but is probably very necessary based on what you need to know to handle the equipment on your own. The staff members were all very kind as well so it was helpful to have them talk through. Difficulty rangers from kids level all the way up to double black diamond, which even our most active people did not attempt. If you're planning on doing either of the black courses, I would definitely recommend just doing one warm-up course so that you don't tire yourself out. We started on the greens, and then did a blue, and then barely made it through the first black. We did have someone who started a black and then realized she could not handle it. It would be great if part of the training could include an exit strategy in case that were to happen. In this case, the person had only made it through one obstacle and had to make it back, which was already difficult enough for her, but thankfully it was only one. I'm curious what would have happened if she made it further through the course and could not finish. Overall this was a really great activity for any age level, any skill level, and for any group or individual. I would definitely come back and am eager to try the double black diamonds next time!

This playground has several tables surrounding it where you can bring a picnic lunch and watch the kids play. Some are shaded but not all. The play equipment is highly accessible since there are ramps and walkways that are wide enough for strollers and wheelchairs. There are multiple swing sets including the full body chair swings. There are a few zipline-type rides, one that zips down and is designed to return you to the starting platform. There is a sandy area that you can use with beach toys. There is also a basketball half or quarter court with an adjustable height basket. There is plenty of equipment for kids to play on so it could easily keep kids busy for more than an hour. Despite confirming details in advance and paying nearly $700, the event was disorganized from the start. We were given the wrong party room number, causing delays, and when the kids were ready to eat, the room and food were not prepared on time. The biggest issue was the ice cream. I had paid for ice cream for all guests, but only after the party started was I told they were out. I was advised mid party to buy something next door at Food Lion so my husband went to get ice cream--only for the manager to confront me in front of guests saying I couldn't serve it due to policy. After an embarrassing back‑and‑forth, they eventually allowed it, but the damage was done. My son's party was disrupted, and my guests witnessed unnecessary conflict. To make matters worse, billing confusion at the end left me feeling accused of not covering a guest, only for it to later be revealed as a miscommunication that left me feeling awkward because the venue involved the other family by calling them. The entire experience was stressful, embarrassing, and poorly handled. While the party host tried to be helpful, the management's lack of communication and professionalism ruined the celebration. I've been a loyal customer since they opened, but after this ordeal I am cancelling my membership. Customer service matters, and this event showed me Big Air Raleigh does not value it.

We got checked in and my two girls ran up and started playing. My son and I straggled behind a few moments. Before reaching the trampolines, one of the employees stopped us and said my son cannot wear the socks he was wearing. He was wearing Galaxy Fun Park Sock (the competition). I asked why he couldn't wear those socks since they were in compliance with what was required in their facility (grip bottom socks). The employee said they were "Galaxy Socks" and that it's policy. After a moment of awkwardness, they gave my son some other socks at no charge. After walking past them, I looked at my two daughters and one was wearing Urban Air Socks and the other was wearing Galaxy Fun Park Socks. They were never stopped and told to change socks. As I'm sitting here writing this review (I was going to give them a 3-Star review for the awkward interaction and inconsistent experience) the same employee kindly just walked up to me and handed me two pairs of socks for my girls. Outside of the immediate teachers, the entire school has created such a positive change in our daughter's life - each day includes a special course and all 5 of those teachers offer something interactive and engaging (STEM, Art, Music, PE and Spanish). The faculty is very organized, efficient and friendly. Everyone works as a team to get the kids in and out of school safely. The atmosphere at Chesterbrook is really that of a family unit. We've been so happy with our choice to enroll here :)
