There was a NYE celebration here and I took the girls. When we arrived we signed the waiver, got our wrist bands and started having fun. They dropped ballon's and every ballon had a prize. We came on a Sunday afternoon with our 2 kids. They had fun, obviously. But, it's definitely overpriced! We are used to going to Frankie's fun park in Raleigh and the prices are much higher for the games and the activities. $3 for some of the arcade games! $1.50 for most of the basic arcade games. Went to this location and everything looked super fun and exciting for the kids. We did not eat so we do not have a review on the food however, we did go to the play area and the trampoline. The front desk receptionist was fairly friendly. She helped us get our cards loaded for the play area. She made sure to tell us about the waivers and the height requirements for each thing very helpful. First off this place ROCKs! I brought 4 girls for unlimited jump 1 hour and unlimited everything else for 2 hours (after) and it came out to a little more than 200$, not bad. Galaxy is a great place to have some fun with the family. They have affordable prices for trampoline bounce, indoor mini golf, Go Karts and arcade games, laser tag. They also have a ceiling lined obstacle course called " space walk ropes ". We enjoyed the last hour here tonight and were able to do the trampoline park, Go Karts, arcade and orbital spin bumper cars. This is an adorable place to celebrate a birthday or spend a evening with the kids. I would not suggest this place for anyone over the age of 14. Besides mini gulf, go karts and laser tag, it would be limiting. I also wish the Go Kart & Orbital bumper cars had more square feet to drive around and enjoy. Galaxy is spacious just not for those two attractions. The staff here is excellent. They care about the children and are professional. This review is strictly for mini golf, the only attraction we utilized at Galaxy Fun Park. It was a rainy Saturday so we wanted an indoor activity. After signing the waiver and paying at the front counter (not a wait for either) we went over to the mini golf area. Once we got there we were asked to wait for 10 minutes to give the groups ahead of us enough time. We got our clubs and balls and started playing. Overall I really enjoyed the course and felt it was challenging enough without being impossible to get a hole-in-one. The three of us got through in just under an hour, without any other patrons catching up/waiting on us. I'd definitely recommend the mini golf course for a fun activity. read more

I've taken my teen and 3 yo grandchildren to the galaxy fun park. There is very little for toddlers to do, but the soft play area is great for them to burn off some energy. It's a 3 story easy obstacle course. For $5, you get unlimited play. They will get tired after an hour or so. They have trampolines, laser tag, mini golf, rope course and zip line, as well as race cars and a few other games to play. Add a star if you have tweens, they will love it. Nice that they have a bar upstairs for adults to hang while kiddos play, but only useful for those with older kids. Be prepared for very slow service at admissions and for food. I was glad I avoided the admission line because I was coming for a birthday party that started at 4:30. The parent didn't have to do anything but sit while the hostess handled everything. They offer bumper cars, laser tag and a obstacle cross that includes a zip line. Remember that the place was busy and although two activities were paid for 2 hrs were spent waiting in line to do that. So, I left early because I had a prior engagement and that was at 8pm. My daughter is still scared of their jumping safety video and doesn't want to jump here but enjoys coming here. She really wanted to play Lazer tag. I've never played and I asked the worker if there was a lot of flashing lights or strobe lights. I'm really sensitive to those kind of lights. He explained the lights and the room but took it up a notch when he brought me in to check it out! I really appreciated that! There is a bar upstairs with beer wine and food so mom and dad can tag team get a drink and take a break! Do they have good customer service or well trained employees, NO! Staff is all teenagers that could careless. After waiting in a long line when it was finally our turn we were told that we needed waivers (I never saw a sign they then pointed them out but they are all small and not visible or in your line of sight. So we had to get out of line complete waivers then get back in line. I saw multiple families have to do this. So they need signs that are in your line of sight. As obviously they have outgrown the kids party, I asked to pay the Teen rate to do exactly what the Teens do but 30 mins less jump time. I also said we would not need the party room or food or a person to help us. We would supervise the kids Even agreed to pay for 15 kids when we only have 10 and they refused to give us the rate when clearly it would cost them less than the Teen party. We were even going to add on the VR experience and pay full price for that. I'm in shock at what a poor business decision this was. Just gave up $375 towards fixed costs for something that would add no variable costs on and require no additional work on their end. Makes no sense and we will be going elsewhere with our money. I wish I knew the owner, they should know about this, just irrational. Why would you charge 10-11 year olds more while giving them less than the teenagers? Frankies is offering us more for less. The go cart track was fun but you'll have to track who laps who or who is in the lead as there are no results posted at the end. I won! In case you were wondering. Well at least I did the first time. When a business has a Law Enforcement on duty this is a problem with the business, managers and customers. If you enter your going to PAY for it. You have $$$$ to throw away this is the place to go. Despite the 40-min drive from our house, my husband acquiesced to my 9YO's and my request for a family field trip to indoor Moonwalk Mini Golf at GalaxyFunPark in WakeForest, NC (#Raleigh). It was a well-spent morning, particularly bc we purchased a $20 Groupon for 4 people to play the 18-hole, par-3 course. The course was artistic, quite entertaining, and the perfect length for our patience. As the weather gets colder (or hotter, for that matter), I highly recommend both Moonwalk mini golf and lunch at nearby Charlie's Kabob Grill (vegetarian friendly)to friends with young or even teenage kids.
