I personally only get old fashioned regular nail polish, so let me talk about that: First of all, every nail tech here does a great job. I think that speaks to Tran's high quality standards. They use the strongest top coats available (the black bottle OPI and Seche Vite - if you know, you know!). For regular polish, they have a ton of colors from good brands, but I personally stick to OPI and Essie. They also offer elaborate nail art, but I'm more traditional. My regular hand polish lasts about 10 days here (other salons usually only last 3-4 days for me), and my real nails are so strong now that they don't flex when I push down on them. As for toenail polish, it would probably last forever, but the pedicures are so relaxing that I can't stay away long enough to find out! Every now and then the volcano spa lavender pedicures are absolutely worth the splurge. Also, a side note, I personally have very sensitive cuticle skin that bleeds easily at every salon I've ever been to. I just thought it was what it was. One day Tran told me to just let the nail tech know ahead of time and voila! I never have had it happen again. Rarely, there is a bit of a language barrier, if you have any special request whip out google translate on your phone and you're good as gold.

She did a really good job! I made an appointment a week ago because one of my nails had popped off. I made the mistake of putting nail glue and gluing it back (because I was going out to dinner.). I showed up for the appointment and I was told I needed ti wait, until it popped off again. Well I'm back this morning to get it replaced. This morning, not so friendly nor did she take the care as the first day. I did ask for them to be shortened a little( I'm thinking she would check in the length as she went but no. This time she did not build the nail up I lost like the original. She took a short cut and didn't build a base with a tip she just used acrylic so of courses it wasn't going to be as long as before and now it is too short. I tried to look as she worked but she didn't like me moving my feet to see what she had done. I at the end commented that they did not match and were very short. She asked if I wanted her to file it and I said no because we are at the quick of my nail and it's too late. She just ignored me and told me what I owed. As I was paying she went to other lady who had been there before I had. This is not fair to the lady who was there before and my self as we were both short changed. I won't be going back..
