I was happy to get a walk in spot (the people after me were not so lucky and were not treated great) and the 10 minute massage was great ($15!). That's the end of the positives. Within 2 days my powder manicure had chipped on one finger and almost 1 week in 2 nails have chipped and many others are cracking. I had a nice experience here with Lina, who now owns the salon, as my technician. I got a Dazzle Dry mani (it's gentler on my nails & dries super fast). Lina very carefully applied the Dazzle Dry and was careful to follow all the steps so that it will last. She wanted me to be happy with the mani, and I am. They even have a card that allows you to earn rewards, which is always nice. I'll visit again. read more

While I did end up loving the hard gel I got on my fingers... this was far too expensive for my liking. I got gel on my toes (that chipped in about 3 days) and hard gel on my nails & my bill was $242. I live in New York City and that is more expensive than the best place in West Village. Like I said, I do really like my fingernails but was really disappointed with my toes & the price. If they lowered their price and got better quality gel, I'd go back! read more

HORRIBLE. I wish I could give this salon zero stars. I am new to the area and was looking for a nice nail salon like the one I have at home. The salon is DISGUSTING and all the products they used on me had to be expired, everything burned my hands. They completely ruined my nails and i'm extremely mad about it, they filed them down until they were paper thin. On the second day after getting my gel manicure two of my nails broke and the polish chipped off. Went to get a dip manicure and my nails are destroyed. I got dip as it is better for your nails than gel but I've never had my nails look like this after gel. Two nails have fallen off after one week and the nail is crumbled underneath. I wouldn't mind if at least they did a good job applying it, but that also sucked. This is the WORST nail salon I've ever been to. I got an ANC manicure (powder) with tips that costed $65 alone. At first my nails looked great until my nail fell off 2 days later. I went back and she fixed it but said it was because my nail was short? The next day 2 more nails fell off... Save your money and go somewhere else, where they charge the normal price of $40. I get ANC all the time and it usually lasts me maximum 3 weeks! I will never go here again! read more

By far the worst pedicure & service I have ever experienced. I had an appointment at 5:30, my feet were plopped into a vat of semi cold water until 6:20 when I couldn't take it any more. I've lived in Fairfield my whole life, have been to lots of local salons.. this is by far my favorite! I (along with my family) have been coming here religiously for the last 6 years. I have since moved to another town but still travel here to get pampered. I get gel polish, different level pedicures, and eyebrow waxes. I have never been disappointed. These women always listen to what I want and execute better than I could imagine! Grace and Nina are two of my favs, Though you can't go wrong with any of them! The service was fine, not great but it was ok. There is not a waiting area, so it was a definitely crowded and not a calming/relaxing atmosphere. One person in my group of 3 had to specifically ask to have her cuticles pushed back. The biggest issue is all of our nails were chipped or broken after only 3 days! And we even got gel! I love this place. I've been going for almost 2 years now on a regular basis. Everyone is always sweet. My needs have always been met. I do waxing and nails and have always been pleased. This is my second time going to this nail salon, while I was there, getting just a regular pedicure, the pedicurist (Mallia) was so rough. I came in with long nails and she wound up cutting them so short that it was painful. You could see the sensitive skin underneath! (I asked to keep them long) She wasn't gentle at all throughout the entire pedicure. While scrapping my feet it felt like it would cut me. My mother came with me and got a pedicure and her pedicurist (Jenny)wound up cutting her foot and said my mom walked in with that. Our original plan was to get manicures and pedicures but we decided that it wasn't even worth it. Honestly never going there again. Don't even think they deserve this one star. Second time, the lady wanted to charge me $10 extra dollars to remove calluses. She hardly scrubbed the dead skin from my heels wo the extra expenditure. What the heck...the pedicure only costs $22. I went to kiki nails last week to get a new set of nails put on. The owner of kiki nails put them on. After going home my nails looked screwed up, so I went back to have them fixed. The owner was very rude. A few days later two of my nail broke off so I went back and had them fixed. Later on that night two more of my nails broke off. I called and complained and said "that should not happened, I'm very unhappy and requested a refund". The owner said no. This place is the worst and I would not give them my business. read more

I recently had a man/pedi at Kiki Nails. Within three days I had a staph infection at a spot where my cuticle had been clipped. (I had asked the manicurist NOT to cut or clip anything but I am not sure she spoke or understood English.) What followed was discomfort and a fifteen day course of antibiotics.
