I had been working hard to keep both my parents safe during the pandemic, but I am certainly no pedicurist, so I asked her to wait a little longer. A little while after nail salons were allowed to open I gave my mom the green light to go ahead with all the proper precautions. She drove to a few and they looked a little crowded. Finally she came across Becky's. As soon as she was done, she called me, thrilled with her experience. Clients were limited to only a couple at a time, masks were required and temperatures were checked. Hand sanitizer was available upon arrival and departure too. Becky was absolutely wonderful. She was the perfect antidote after months of very limited social contact. They had a great conversation and by the time she left, my mom was asking all of us to go there and support Becky. She even paid for my brother to get a pedicure, his first at 53 years old! I went too. My toes weren't looking so good, even with my self-pedicure. Like my mom said, Becky was wonderful and the young man that works with her too!! You really feel safe with all the precautions they are taking and also it's so nice to speak with such friendly people. We traded stories and by the end it was like I had a new friend. I went back yesterday and Becky asked about my whole family. She clearly knows and cares about everyone who walks through her door. I would highly recommend Becky in normal times, but particularly now I can say it's a safe and comfortable place to get some self-care and pampering done. When it came time for its removal, I made an appt. with Becky Nails, after reading its reviews on Yelp. Shop is run by Becky & Max. Because she was alone that day, there was a bit of a wait. Becky was friendly and did the removal quickly and efficiently. Because my nails were ruined by a steady diet of gel manicures and are just getting healthy again, I only get them done periodically.
