The afternoon we checked in, a dog in the neighbor's yard (the rooms face a row of residential back yards) barked nonstop for two hours when we were trying to take a nap. The staff seemed baffled when we told them, and not particularly helpful. The staff is the hotel's main weakness. There was a very unfriendly woman waiting tables when we went down to the restaurant and our waiter was an absolute snot. He made it more than clear, waiting on us was a big hassle for him. The reason I give the hotel a three is they have a beautiful, inviting restaurant and a surprisingly great craft beer selection. If they can upgrade the rooms to match the restaurant and fire the rude staff, they might have something.
