Unfortunately, it came at a HUGE cost. Just over a year ago, we had Myers out to blow in some additional insulation and do some basic air sealing. Now, as a result of them not installing the proper ventilation, we are dealing with a serious mold infestation in a space that had never previously had any issue. After having multiple mold inspectors out, the consensus is clear - the blown in insulation should never have been installed in the way that it was without additional ventilation. This contractor put in an attic full of baffles - without any corresponding soffit vents! If you know anything about insulating an attic, you know that this is basically installation 101. Unfortunately, as a result of their negligence, we are now facing thousands of dollars of mold remediation - all to fix an issue that we never should have or would have had. I seriously warn those considering insulation work to choose another contractor (literally - anyone who has ever installed basic insulation before) rather than engaging with Myers Insulation.

I hired this company in 2020 to add an extension on the back of my house the sales man talked a…read moregood game but the quality of work is horrible. during the process I kept telling the salesman and owner Pat of my concerns but they just told me it would all be great when completed. i had to call several times after completion because when it rained it would rain in my house through the door and windows they put in. they had someone come out finally and he said the gutter system was installed incorrectly and he did something to repitch it. they didn't solve the problem and Pat stopped returning my calls. I have since had to replace the sliding glass door and windows with Window Nation and now my roof is leaking. I will need to replace that too. Be very wary of this company. I have pictures too!

From start to finish Mike facilitated the process and made sure it went without a hitch. Having never replaced a roof or worked with insurance to cover wind damage, I didn't know where to begin. Mike worked with the insurance adjuster and looked out for my interests at every turn. The team removed the old roof and installed a gorgeous new roof in one day! They cleaned up every last scrap and nail, and provided beautiful drone pictures of both the process and the end product. I requested commercial sized gutters with screens. They added flash barriers for points where the roof pitch could result in excess flow. My father has called twice to tell me how impressed he was with the workmanship, service and end result. Honestly, Kearns roofing and Mike Nicely were so good and efficient, I worried it was a scam and I was going to be stuck with a terrible bill. In the end, it cost me LESS than estimated because Mike did a great job working with the insurance company! He saved me thousands of dollars and the quality of work is exceptional. We've requested a different crew for months, and it's just being ignored at the end of the day. Lots of hollow promises with little to no follow through. We wish we had hired elsewhere, even if it meant paying more!
