Thats what they made me feel like the gave absolute zero concern for my health or well being. Zero communication, Zero ability to follow up with anything, or do anything that was promised. I was lied to and transferred arround without any courtesy or respect. Even after being seen by his nurse and comunicating my concern there was zero follow up on my very specific concern. Zero amount of respect or professionalism. The worst dr and group of the most unprofessional, uncaring, unconcerned people i have ever encountered. And to be in the healthcare business you really have some work to do you should be ashamed.

I was seen very…read morequickly and thoroughly assessed by the Nurse Practitioner Michelle who, frankly, did way more for me in ten minutes than both times at the ER waiting for hours to get scanned with contrast. She addressed the issues quickly and answered with precision. I felt comfortable talking to her and I will return to this office when I have needs of that kind. I already see a few doctors in Woodstock. This is far closer and very pleasant. It's a clean, bright office and I would recommend them to anybody. I'm so glad insurance covered the medication. The Emergency Room prescribed nothing but kept writing me referrals to a specialist when what this really is comes from a medication reaction. It's sad that three months of an antifungal will necessitate the taking of three other medications to reduce the swollen lymph nodes, but I will be thrilled to not feel like I have been swimming all day. My ear has been giving me a hard time for awhile and it's been messing with my balance and hearing. I'm glad I went! Unfortunately I'm due for a pelvic, so I will definitely go this route. It's a nice office and they had a prompt appointment.

So I called for an appointment and was told she could see me on August 18 (today is July 2). I have prescriptions that have to be monitored and maintained, and I also have a very painful issues with my arm. I don't think either can wait for August 18. They are two separate appointments and they won't combine them: one is "to establish care" and the other is an illness visit. Once I see her as a "wellness visit" on August 18, I would be able to "get in quicker" to see her in the future. For now, if I'd like to be seen and monitored by "someone else" who has more availability in their schedule I could do that. Well, I've had a terrible experience with a doctor in Chicago that left me with ongoing medical issues that could have been prevented. So I did my research and selected someone I felt I could trust. I was so very lucky to have that in New Orleans (from where I just moved) and I just wanted that again. I don't really want to see "someone else" that I don't know anything about and waiting 6+ weeks to see a doctor I researched heavily. So while I can't really rate Dr. Boyd herself, this is a warning to those who are looking for a doctor: even though her site says she is accepting new patients, I don't think she really has time for them. Be sure you can wait six weeks before seeing her if you choose her. I get why she's busy -- she's good. But why advertise that you're accepting new patients when you really don't have time for someone who needs you?

He could easily win the primary care doctor of the year award, in my opinion. I have to be honest; I am not a huge fan of doctors or the medical field, for the most part. I have had some pretty awful and traumatizing experiences at the hands of the medical profession over the course of my life, and so I had been without a primary care doctor for a number of years before I found Dr. Chung. I was going with the, if I don't think about it I'll be fine mentality. However, it became clear I really did need to see a doctor, and so an extended family member suggested I see a colleague of his, who was not taking patients. Dr. Chung was new to the practice, and so I thought, okay, I guess I could give him a try, but I steeled myself, for what I assumed would be a horrible experience. My first visit with Dr. Chung was a game changer. I wanted to hug him after my visit and all of his staff as well. He LISTENED! HE LISTENED! HE CLEARLY ACTUALLY HEARD WHAT I HAD SAID TO HIM. HE MADE OBSERVATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS! HE NEVER GAVE ORDERS. He was, at ALL times, respectful, thoughtful and I felt so comfortable with him. In the past 5 or so years that I have been Dr. Chung's patient, I have never had a negative experience with his practice, (Okay, one time, one of the office staff was crabby, but hey, we all have off days sometimes, and it wasn't a big deal, just a tiny bit of edge). After I met Dr. Chung, I immediately scheduled my kids, and my mom with him, and now pretty much my entire family call Dr. Chung when they need a doctor. Seriously, he's an awesome doctor! I wish he could clone himself. Oh, by the way, the rest of the practice is pretty amazing too. I've occasionally had to see Dr. Chung's colleagues when he's been on vacation and they are just as awesome as he is. Couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of care (thoroughness, knowledge, advice and outstanding communication / people skills - huge differentiator over my prior doctor). The rest of the onsite team I interacted with was terrific too - warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient - all around great experience. Had a follow-up appt today via zoom. Again - great experience. Your model works great for me as I travel quite a bit and being able to get care in different locations in person, via app or video call is super important to me. Truly grateful for the excellent quality of care along with the innovation which makes getting healthcare so much easier!

Everyone knows who you are after only a couple of visits. All appointments are followed up by a thorough report on their site. I had an after hours issue that I reported by phone. The response was almost immediate. I received an email detailing what I should do if my pharmacy was closed overnight. The prescription was ready within a couple hours. The response was really impressive. I highly recommend the office.
