Wife is family, and I just saw a group of people go in the room together. The care itself seemed rushed and not very personal. Patients should feel supported and respected, but the staff did not make that happen for us. The quality of care felt inconsistent. While some people seemed to receive better treatment and flexibility, we did not. Rules and policies should be applied fairly to all patients and their families, especially when emotional support is important.

After searching for a reason, I found out they are out of the BCBS PPO network, which I discussed with them three times, and that the new doctor (the original one retired) is now not in network. So, I had already paid my co-pay and then received a bill a month and a half later. Was I "what is this"? After two months of disputing their lack of accountability due to their mistake, I was getting nowhere. I just paid them to leave me alone and not to report this to a collection agency. They even threatened me by saying that if I don't pay, they can refuse to offer medical care to me. (i.e., auto injury, etc.) If you need medical attention and there is another affiliate hospital/network around, investigate it. Even look for terms of payment, etc., in writing from this hospital network. Their verbal communication is garbage.

The doctors are a joke they don't help anyone. They use patients as guinea pigs. They violate the disability act, violate the HIPA law and also the POA of patients medical. basically let mental ill people leave there facility even when the are told by the patient that they are going to harm themselves or someone else. They also have a nurse there by the name of RUTH that thinks it is ok to stick her finger in the face of parents. I guess this is the newest thing happening in America, is if they don't t like what you are saying they go Rambo on you. Also had a social working speaking to patient one time in 17 days. Called the director Linda Miller which did nothing to resolve the issue you spoke to her about. Also contacted the Director of the facility Matthew Easley twice and no return call. Wow. Top rated hospital. You better run for the hills. You be better off there than here. This is the type of care we give to mentally ill adults but if they had cancer they would be getting top care. We better start to look at mental illness differently and start helping these patients who need the help and stop worrying about making money and how many drugs we are going to pump them with. Sounds easy, right? The woman who called told me repeatedly that I had never been seen there. That's not true--I've been going there for about ten years. She finally said I hadn't been seen since the new charting system. How was I supposed to know what she was talking about? She also told me more than once that they weren't seeing sick patients because of the pandemic and I can't get a prescription without being seen. Sounds like a catch 22, right? At the very end she asked if I wanted to be transferred to one of the "girls" (are they employing high schoolers?) to schedule a televisit. So they ARE seeing patients, just not in person. I was so frustrated by the end of the call, I said no. Hey, Northwestern, when you have a minute, train the people on the phone to say, "Since you haven't been here since we changed systems..." and "We're not seeing patients in person, but we can set up a televisit" so that someone who is sick doesn't feel she's out of luck because "she's never been seen and they're not seeing people, so sucks to be you." This is probably a good time to switch doctors. (P.S. I don't know why Yelp is saying I live in San Francisco--I live in Crystal Lake)

From the ER, the staff from the counter, technician, Care Assistant, CT technician, phlebotomist, Housekeeping, transporter, RN's & Dr's are amazing. And they do care of their patients. I wanted to say thank you so much for the excellent customer service, kindness & taking good care of are of me while I was admitted for few days. I highly recommended for anyone that is not feeling well to be treated to this hospital. I promise you they well take good care of you until you feel much better. All the staff from ER you are all amazing! God bless you all Most especially to the Dr's. Shot out to Ali(RN), Kyle(RN, Lori, Vince (Care Technician) & Champlain. You all rock. God bless!

This hospital and the entire staff do not deserve even 1 star…read more I went here for a cardiologist because I was diagnosed with an aneurism, saw dr harey on a Monday morning and was told I would receive a call in the afternoon with my apts that need to be scheduled. No call. It took me until that following Friday to get in touch with an actual person. By that time I was livid. A heart patient too. I requested a manager and got one and she settled everything out for me and scheduled my apts within 2 weeks. No calls or anything during that time on how should prep so I called scheduling again and was told no food or drink 4 hours prior. I arrived and was asked nothing to eat or drink for 12 hours? I replied yes I had a glass of milk around 11:30 pm because I was told 4 hours prior by 2 different people They cancelled my tests. I requested tonspeaknwith a manager and they sent out a doctor. An arrogant one at that and he kept interrupting me and talking over me u til I went off him and he turned and walked away. This place needs to be burned to the ground for incompetence and shear arrogance. Their care sucks. Their customers service sucks. And the office experience is terrible at best. Don't go here. You will get better care at a vet.

Recommends unnecessary tests and repeat visits to sit down and "talk with her" (aka her not listening to you) so she can collect your co pay. Does not listen to your needs or concerns. I switched Dr's right after I called her regarding side effects I was having with the medication she gave me and without even asking WHY I wanted to be taken off of it, she said "I need to stay on it for a couple more weeks". No, you ask WHY and then assess the situation. What if I was having heart issues with it??? Stay away.

I've had one knee replacement & was bone on bone in the other knee & my leg was so badly deformed from a collapsed knee, I was in constant pain. I couldn't put weight on that leg & could hardly walk. My knee would buckle on me constantly. I felt like I was facing a future in a wheelchair. The program consisted of 3 platelet rich plasma knee injections, using your own blood & an umbilical cord stem cell injection to help regrow your knee cartiledge. They used a heel wedge in my shoe to shift the bones & straighten my leg. Well a little over a month out, I have to say I am super impressed with the results so far & it could still take up to a year for the cartiledge to completely regenerate.
