I am leaving this review to warn other patients about the billing practices at this clinic. I came…read morein for a routine, annual preventive physical, which is supposed to be covered at 100% by insurance. During the visit, I asked a quick question about a sore throat and requested a routine refill for my inhaler. The clinic used these minor, incidental questions to "split-bill" my appointment. They added an extra diagnostic office visit charge alongside the preventive code, resulting in unexpected out-of-pocket costs that I was never notified about during the visit. While the medical care itself was fine, the lack of transparency regarding additional charges is incredibly disappointing. If you go here for an annual wellness exam, be aware that asking any questions about an active symptom or a regular prescription will result in an extra bill without warning.

Just wanted to leave my review, based on the two nurses that were walking behind me, on my way into…read morethe Mercyhealth Pharmacy this evening. I'm really puzzled as to why they felt it was appropriate to joke around and make fun of my limp, as someone with chronic illness and chronic tendon rupture related issues in my left ankle, coupled with dysautonomia. Incidentally, the sole of sandal had just broken too, and I wasn't going to walk into an urgent care building in bare feet. They were joking around about how I "almost plowed into a sign" [I didn't--I had moved aside so they could get past me--you know, the way polite people do]. I quietly asked why that felt like an appropriate thing to say, and gave them a look to let them know I heard them. I don't know if they heard my comment or not, because unlike them, I don't yell rude things out loudly, so that everyone and sundry can hear, nor do I try to make other people the butt of my unfunny jokes. My heart actually sank, however, as I saw them walk into the doctor's office where they worked, to the left side of the lobby, just past the entrance. I feel for any patients that might have to deal with that kind of disgusting behavior and ableism.

The doctors are a joke they don't help anyone. They use patients as guinea pigs. They violate the disability act, violate the HIPA law and also the POA of patients medical. basically let mental ill people leave there facility even when the are told by the patient that they are going to harm themselves or someone else. They also have a nurse there by the name of RUTH that thinks it is ok to stick her finger in the face of parents. I guess this is the newest thing happening in America, is if they don't t like what you are saying they go Rambo on you. Also had a social working speaking to patient one time in 17 days. Called the director Linda Miller which did nothing to resolve the issue you spoke to her about. Also contacted the Director of the facility Matthew Easley twice and no return call. Wow. Top rated hospital. You better run for the hills. You be better off there than here. This is the type of care we give to mentally ill adults but if they had cancer they would be getting top care. We better start to look at mental illness differently and start helping these patients who need the help and stop worrying about making money and how many drugs we are going to pump them with. Hope this never happens to your child

No call. It took me until that following Friday to get in touch with an actual person. By that time I was livid. A heart patient too. I requested a manager and got one and she settled everything out for me and scheduled my apts within 2 weeks. No calls or anything during that time on how should prep so I called scheduling again and was told no food or drink 4 hours prior. I arrived and was asked nothing to eat or drink for 12 hours? I replied yes I had a glass of milk around 11:30 pm because I was told 4 hours prior by 2 different people They cancelled my tests. I requested tonspeaknwith a manager and they sent out a doctor. An arrogant one at that and he kept interrupting me and talking over me u til I went off him and he turned and walked away. This place needs to be burned to the ground for incompetence and shear arrogance. Their care sucks. Their customers service sucks. And the office experience is terrible at best. Don't go here. You will get better care at a vet.

I've had one knee replacement & was bone on bone in the other knee & my leg was so badly deformed from a collapsed knee, I was in constant pain. I couldn't put weight on that leg & could hardly walk. My knee would buckle on me constantly. I felt like I was facing a future in a wheelchair. The program consisted of 3 platelet rich plasma knee injections, using your own blood & an umbilical cord stem cell injection to help regrow your knee cartiledge. They used a heel wedge in my shoe to shift the bones & straighten my leg. Well a little over a month out, I have to say I am super impressed with the results so far & it could still take up to a year for the cartiledge to completely regenerate. My leg is significantly straighter & I have so much less pain. Almost pain free at times. So much better than my surgically fixed knee that still hurts. I'm walking faster, able to start putting weight on it climbing stairs & able to work out with ankle weights on. Something I haven't been able to do in years! In just over a month!!! (It took me almost a year to recover from my knee replacement.) So Thank you Michelle Dace & everyone at Discover Medical!!! I have had really miraculous results! It gets better every day.
