At first she told me it was because the size of my bag was large, but then a man came in behind me to drop off a very small box and she told him the same thing about the new $2 charge. I do a lot of business with shipping places, sometimes I have a free shipping label and sometimes I have to pay for shipping. Sadly, I will not be using this store for my shipping needs. I will be going to Flagstaff or Scottsdale when I'm there for other things. I understand one needs to make money, but maybe try selling packing materials, tape, greeting cards, etc as another revenue stream instead of this tactic.

I got my 5 pages of labels little under an hour later... her colleague, who was busy doing "non-directly-customer-related things, asked how I was Doing ... as I was leaving, and I just laughed out of sarcasm... how would YOU or ANYONE feel, after getting pushed to the back of the line, many times???? ... and finally get out of there about 45minutes later... Is it possible that a colleague could assist in the process of getting customers out the door??? Is this too much to ask?!

Everything went smoothly from setting-up time for pick-up to the actual pick-up. The company is very communicative- leaving voice mails as needed, and providing a call prior to pick-up. I needed to make a change in day/time for pick-up and the scheduler was very accomodating. At the time of pick-up, the owner, Fred, readily introduced himself. He spoke with his two helpers- two younger gentlemen- about the need for being careful and surveying the area for best way to remove the items. Using the front door was out due to several sharp corners. I could tell Fred cared about his helpers as he was coaching/teaching along the way. The helpers were friendly and responsive to my comments. Upon leaving, I let Fred know how much I appreciated them all, and he talked about the need to hire people who had patience, and understanding that they were entering people's homes and the need for respect for the homeowner's property. Since the cost of the pick-up and delivery was included in the price of reupholstering my furniture, I don't have a cost or value to share. I can attest that if I ever require a mover for small items, this would be the company I would call.

The whole situation is disturbing. The woman said she has over 20 Chihuahuas puppies & pit-bull puppies. She's not exactly sure what they are. They're in the back of this filthy overcrowded yard on the side of the building and all you can hear is dogs barking, and crying. They're hot, exhausted, and one looked very small, very sick, and might even have mange. They are so incredibly neglected and mistreated. There wasn't even anyone outside watching them. They are stuck out in the heat to bake in the sun while the humans hang out inside. I will NEVER support a store or owner who would do this to animals for greed. Foul foul behavior. You should be ashamed of yourself.

As a Evaporation cooler expert I offer the following: I was in yesterday (08/08/2026) A typical HOT…read moreday over 100 degrees outside... The way the coolers are set up with the big one near the rear and the smaller one near the front, both fighting each other... The result is the smaller is a waste of electricity, it is losing the battle.... When I stood outside the front door I could feel the large volume of air rushing out... the big unit overpowering the smaller units efforts~!~ The fix: Both units need to be near the front of the store. Why the front you ask?? Evaporation coolers work the very best (efficiency and result desired) if the air going through them is from as cool a source as possible~!~ The air from the shade in front is definitely as much as 20++ degrees cooler than the air on the hot end (rear) of the store~!~ To plumb them with live water is so easy even with the water source being in the utility room at the rear.... The black drip system hose for gardens works great and lasts for years even outside in a garden... 1/2". That would free up the assistants (wasted time/efforts) from the task of constantly filling the reservoirs, leaving them free of that duty to help people and build a good/better customer base... Everyone likes a visit with happy employees~!~ I can help you run some hose so that it is out of the way for the hot months.. IF the front AC unit works??? Set it at 77/78 it may not even kick on, If it does it will help immensely~!~ Too HOT to be comfortable in Mamaw's~!~
