I used them recently to move my piano. The good was the moving crew, 3 men, did a superb and professional job. Really impressive. The other good was the owner, Chris, answered my call to complain and his service was outstanding. He was compassionate and knocked off $60 off the quoted rate for the inconvenience I'd experienced. The bad was they'd booked my time to pick up at approx. 11 am, but didn't show up til about 4:30! They never called me with an update. I had to call them and they kept stringing me along saying they were leaving soon but they weren't. When I called them to ask for a discount, because I'd had plans but missed those plans, and she said no that they don't give discounts and that she'd told me about potential delays. I said she never told me about a delay, especially a potential 6 hour delay. I never would have scheduled it for that day had I known it could interfere with my plans. I said I'd have to leave a bad review then, and she said she was going to call the men and have them return the piano! I said reviews are a risk you take by owning a business. She hung up on me. I called back 3 times when the owner Chris answered. He was very apologetic and gave me the discount and I got my piano. If you use this service, be aware the men do a great moving job, but be sure to get their commitment to a timeframe and ask all questions up front. Possibly get it in writing or recording. I was in search of a moving company last minute to help unload a large truck at our home in Flagstaff after we drove in a whole day ahead of our original planned arrival, and I was able to schedule a two person team for the very same day! I am grateful for the quick response and am still shocked that TFTH movers could fit me in the schedule so easily. They were professional and respectful of all of our belongings. They worked hard and well into the evening to unload as much as possible in the shortest amount of time. We have quite a few very heavy items and large furniture, but they did it all themselves with only 2 men. I called THTH at 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon after the other moving company I had called flaked out. TFTH called me back within 5 minutes and had a crew at my house 30 minutes later! The two guys that arrived were friendly, polite, and had my 16 foot truck packed and ready to leave in 2 hours. They were absolute life savers and did a great job. I left the next morning driving across city and when I arrived everything had stayed in place with no damage. Great packing job! Christopher and the gang at TFTH are simply the best! A cross-country move is stressful at the best of times - everything you own driving off in a couple of trucks? If that doesn't make you feel a little nauseous, nothing will! But Christopher and the rest of the crew made us feel super comfortable. The team worked their arses off both ends of the move, and treated every one of our possessions as carefully as if it was their own. I am new to the area. I arrived during the monsoon in July of 2021 and I wish I had known about this company when I needed to unload the rental truck into storage. However, I did find them when I needed to move furniture from storage to my new rental home. The young gentlemen arrived 10 minutes early am to my storage. They were cheerful and efficient. They were careful and paid attention to detail. I can't say enough what a relief it was to have them. Considering I had been ghosted twice in July by other companies and ended up unloading my truck myself, this company was a breath of fresh air. And their fees were fair. Complete joke of a business. Was scheduled to help my mother move her beds at 9 but ended up showing LITERALLY 5 and a half hours later. We called every hour or so and we're repeatedly told "they are 20 mins away" The guys showed up smelling like pot and at that point I was totally done. This business is an embarrassment and the owner should consider restructuring as this just bad business practice. You can find better help for cheaper and those companies will show up on time. I had used TFTH numerous times in the past. They used to be a great company. NOT ANYMORE. They just left me stranded with no mover whatsoever with a move out inspection tomorrow. I requested a piano move, then asked if they could move a few more items as well. Their office manager said absolutely but when they got here they told me they had other stops so they needed to be fast. They were so rude and continued to interrupt me when I showed him the text from the office. When I called the office, he yelled at me! They gave me a time slot of 11am to 1pm and didn't show up until 4pm and drove past my house twice. WORST COMPANY EVER! read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This was by far the worst experience I ever had with a business. Upon first meeting I liked both owners, very personable and likeable. She went through everything and told me how they WRAP EVERYTHING IN PLASTIC. THEY ARE LYING OVER HALF IF MY GOOD FURNITURE AND ANTIQUES WERE NOT WRAPPED. I was quoted at 1,500$. Things were only being moved 10 miles away to a storage unit, fairly basic. I have end stage leukemia and just dressing my self sometimes requires all energy I have for the day so i was behind on packing up my bedroom. When the guys arrived the first morning i told them how i wanted things done. I had managed an ex boyfriends moving company for 2 years so I know what I'm doing. There were 5 guys. My husband was behind packing the garage because hes lazy so I had to hire 3 additional just to help him. So I told them I wanted 3 guys JUST DOING THE GARAGE NOTHING ELSE and the other 2 moving boxes and furniture into truck. I had it all worked out so that the 2 guys would have the truck ready but or 6 and my husband, his friend and the 3 I hired make 5 and 5 people should be able to pack up a garage in one day. Well I wasnt paying attention. Just in the bedroom packing. At lunch I spent 130$ buying them pizza and soda and I was shocked at how full the truck was. I should have checked the garage but I didnt. I kept getting really upset because I had led all of them around the house that morning and pointed out what boxes and things in general that were not to get packed and 5 times I went out to get something and it would be gone. When I would ask them about it they would all swear they hadnt touched it. At 6 o'clock the truck was ready and I went out and the garage wasnt even 1/3 done. I started to freak because the 3 extra guys were costing me 150$. See normally I wont do business with moving company that does hourly for this reason, because this is how you get fleeced. They intentionally dont do it the way you ask and do it their way so they can drag out the labor ad long as possible. If stuff had been done my way it would have taken 1 1/2 days to get it all done. It took 3 full days and cost me 5 550$ to move my stuff 10 miles. I was told they would have extra tape, boxes and bubble wrap just in case. They didnt I had to go out twice and get it. That extra stuff was included with what I was paying for in the original estimate. Never one to kill the messenger, I assumed it was done under instructions of owner and I still believe that. I always tip. I've worked tipping jobs my whole life and that's just how I am so at the end of the night I asked the guys if everyone was 21 and 4 out of 5 hand went up. The none 21 one I told to take home the 4 leftover bottles of 32 oz. soda and I bought 2 cases of beer for the others. This act of generosity would later come back to haunt me. The next day was worse as my husband and I were working until 4am when we decided it would be stupid to waste money on a hotel as we had to be back by 9am so I went to get some blankets I told the guys not to pack only to find that they had so I had to spread some cleaning rags around on the living room floor and lit a fire in the fire place. It was early january so it was freezing. The next day was even worse than the day before. I once again led them around at the start showing them what was not to be moved. Also I had rented 2 of the largest units in the same aisle and I had gone up there with them and been very clear on how I wanted the units packed . One unit was for inside household stuff only and the other one was for garage and outside stuff only. I said I wanted the units packed neatly with an aisle down the middle of each so I could go in and locate something if I needed to. They literally just threw stuff in and half of my e xspensive and antique furniture was scratched up and is permanently damaged. I had a little wooden table that's been in my family for almost 200 years and was brought over from Norway. They threw it up to the top of the pile close to the ceiling and it was not wrapped. If things had been done my way it wouldnt have exceeded 2,300$. I ended up paying 5,550$. These people are scam artists. When I came back to owner the next week to schedule some guys to pull EVERYTHING out of units and organize because there was no one else available, he started screaming at me and then the awful texts and as fast as I would block his number hed grab another phone and start again. I posted a bad review and he told me if I didnt take it off within the hour hed go to police and tell them I bought alcohol for children. These were grown men since not 21 not younger than 19 or 20, not children. He said he was good friends with cops and would have me arrested. I'm 10 days away from leaving the country so here's the review. RUN PEOPLE. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE THAT BLACKMAIL A CUSTOMER THAT JUST GAVE THEM OVER 5,000$. read more

We've been a good customer and have used "Thanks for the Help" on many occasions. But you really don't know a company until you have a problem, and then you watch their ethics and how they handle it. Wow, does this company disappoint in that regard. We had a move from Sedona to another location and the guys they sent over were certainly not the "moving men" look you'd be expecting or that we had on previous jobs from this company. They were nice people, however, and they tried their best, but they were clearly in their early days of learning how to move. We got our goods to the location, paid them to pile it in the garage, and then began the slow process of gradually moving our things back into our new home. Lo and behold, upon moving some piles of things away from our prized lamp, we discovered that it had been severely damaged on a corner and things were put all around it to prevent us from seeing it. They had been told about this lamp and how precious it was to us. When we called them later to discuss and inquire about a repair and their insurance coverage, the owner of the business turned nasty and made comments that he wasn't going to cover it. Clearly having a bad day? But -- when you treat people like that, it has a repercussion. We will take care of it ourselves, but long remember the "Thanks" we got from Thanks for the Help. Our negative words about them through our realtor connections on both sides of the move will certainly cost them more than the minor cost of "Sure, we'll reimburse you up to $100 for that touch up. Such a wonderfully professional company. My husband and I needed help moving a very heavy patio table and chairs from a downstairs patio to an upstairs courtyard. And....we really needed it done quickly!! At a last minute request, they squeezed us in. Wow!! The three young men showed up after their long busy day, after their scheduled jobs to help. They were so friendly and respectful......and strong! It took them about 3 minutes! I think since we are senior citizens, and it didn't take them but a minute, they said "No charge, we are happy to help". Well, needless to say, we gave them a "tip"! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! I am handicapped so I had to use a moving company. The movers were nice enough. First weird thing that happened, I had money mysteriously missing. Then the move happened and I finally got to my keyboard today which was behind all the big boxes. remember I am handicapped so I can't get the stuff quickly. I realized the keyboard was broken and I called and they blamed it on me and said I was the one carrying it and it was my fault. I can barely get up and down the stairs on my own sometimes. Two very pleasant young men, Alex & Anthony arrived a little later than scheduled but no biggie. They did a great job loading all my stuff in the truck, drove over 200 miles to Tucson & unloaded everything into a storage facility. This was the ONLY company that contacted me through yelp & actually responded with a quote. Several other companies did not even reply to emails. Wow!! BEST Interstate moving company hands down!! What a blessing this company is!!! We moved from Sedona, AZ to Clovis, CA recently. We had lots of furniture and boxes from a 3800 sqft home. In our previous move from Houston to Sedona, we hired one of the big moving companies, and it was a disaster. We ended up loosing about 25K from all the items they broke, from flat screen TVs, to expensive art broken, they also stole a very expensive electric guitar we bought overseas. Many people told us to go to the news because the loss was unbelievable, we were so tired from the move, we filed a complain to the BBB that was worthless. Because of this, we were very apprehensive and expecting not much from our next move from Sedona, AZ to California. Trust us when we say that this is the best moving company out there. They are extremely professional, courteous, and super careful with the furniture. We could not believe that ALL our items arrived without a single scratch, all of our fragile items arrived perfectly. Christopher and his crew treated us like family; They took excellent care of all our items. They planned the move perfectly, and came days in advance to prepare the items and load the trucks. We traveled the day of the move by car, and they arrived to our new home approx. 30 minutes after we got there. They communicated with us via text while they were on the road which really help us to coordinate our arrival.
