SCAM! Sketchy practice that can leave you with thousand of dollar bill you had to pay after they told you you only need to pay copay every time. Just like what some people mentioned here UNETHICAL. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK! WATCH OUT! I went with my dad for his initial chiropractor visit . After asking if the office accepts his health insurance and how much his treatments would be ( so we can budget), the receptionist lady told us that except for the x ray and diagnosi, which insurance does not cover, everything else is covered and he only needs to pay $25 copay every time when he comes. The treatment lasts 6 weeks and its twice a week. After 3 weeks of the treatments, my dad hadn't seen much improvements, he wanted to discontinue the treatments. The front desk lady kept persuading him that he needs to complete the whole 6 weeks to see improvement and that since insurance would pay for the treatments, he should continue. So my dad did. They 6 weeks later, he saw a bill asking him to pay thousands of dollars of balance. He was shocked. We have contacted the insurance, the insurance said the health insurance plan only cover one service and everything else were not covered. Then, why did they lie to my dad to make him stay with them for 6 week? I was there with him on the first visit, they clearly told him insurance pays everything except the x ray and diagnosis. THen another few times when my dad didn't want to continue seeing him. If they made a mistake, then explain to us and wave the fees since that was not what we expected when we agreed to do the 6 weeks treatment. I've been going to Dr. Kim for several months now after an auto accident, and I honestly have nothing but positive things to say about him and his amazing staff. I have had a lot of problems with an old injury. In 2012, I fell down a hill and hit my head on a tree. The injury dislocated my spine. I had to make a decision as to whether I would go and get treatment from a medical doctor or find a Chiropractor. I knew of many people who went to a medical doctor for back problems and seemed to never get well. Consequently, I decided to go to a Chiropractor. By some sheer luck, I saw Dr. Kim's office. When Dr. Kim examined me, he discovered that I had dislocated my spine. I actually looked like the hump back of Notre Dame. One side of my body was clearly lopsided. My clothes no longer fit me properly. I had pains in my neck, back and legs that the strongest pain killers could not cure. I could barely walk. I thought that I might look like the humped Back of Notre Dame for the rest of my life. Dr. Kim also discovered that I had bones in my neck that had not formed properly and that I needed to engage in specific neck exercises that might help mitigate future neck problems. Then he said something to me that gave me hope. The doctor said that he could put my spine closer to where it had been, before my accident, and eventually lessen my pains. So I faithfully came to his office for Chiropractic treatments and performed the proper exercises that he had advised. In a few months, my spine was returning closer to the center of my body where it belonged. My pains had also receded and I again began to be able to walk without stumbling or with a cane. Because my case was so serious, I had to get Chiropractic help from Doctor Kim for several years. In the interim without his services, I was able to lead a normal life with few pains for a while. Because of my extreme condition, on Monday, July 29, 2019, I returned to his office in order to elevate some current back problems. After that session with Dr. Kim, even though I still have pains, I felt much better. Because of my condition, I desire to mitigate the possibility of increased neck and back problems in the future. I have been to a few chiropractors with good results for my mid-back pain but I went last week to see Dr. Kim and I totally agree with the review of Paul I. on here, it was the worst chiropractor I have ever been to. To begin with, a GOOD chiropractor has good hands and adjusts your spine with not too little or too much force. Dr. Kim "tried" to adjust my mid-back with so much force that I was in pain all day that day and the next day. Secondly, a GOOD chiropractor listens to a patient who has been to other chiropractors to find out what works on them etc..I directly told him how I have been adjusted in the past with good results and he didn't listen at all and did the exact opposite which was a cause of my pain.
