This place used to be a favorite, but we stopped coming often when we moved to the Woodlands. We trekked over this afternoon at 2 for Pho, but there was a sign on the door that said they were closed until 3. We decided to hang around the are for an hour, because we love the food here. We came back at 3 and the Open sign was lit up and the doors were open. When we walked in, the girl told us to come back at 3:30 because they're not ready yet. It's horrible customer service, and if you're not ready to open, don't turn on your sign and unlock doors. read more

Not so good. I had the vermicelli with chicken. The chicken breast looked and tasted like an over processed Sysco product. My mom had the pork vermicelli and said the pork was tough. The egg rolls weren't very good either. I hate leaving bad reviews, but the quality and flavor were not there. read more

Super clean, professional, and quick orders! The staff was very nice and communicated well with both Vietnamese and English. I tried their Pho and honestly it was okay; it had lots of fat and was salty/high in sodium. It wasn't super good or anything but their grilled chicken looks good, although my mom prob won't return here LOL read more

Got Bun bo hue, it wasn't very good, the prices seem higher, but about one or two bucks so not bad but still higher prices than the surrounding. I haven't been back since first time trying it. read more

Best pho thus far I've had in The Woodlands/Spring area. Great selection, great service, near my dermatologist.... convenient. It's not fancy, like most Vietnamese places, but the pho broth is worth it. read more

I have been coming to the restaurant since it have been open! I'm Vietnamese and my mom used to own one of the best Vietnamese around. So when I tell you the food is authentic please believe me! They have the best Beef Pho in the North area. It is run by a small family and they are super friendly. All the dishes are pretty good by my favorite are the fries calamari w/ salty & pepper, Summer roll ( Goi Cuon), Pan Fried Noodle w/ seafood and the ice French coffee w/ condensed milk is sinful! read more

The pho here is amazing. If you've never had pho, think delicious soup. My favorite is the round eye steak pho. The broth alone is fragrant and mouth-watering. The plate of extras with the basil, sprouts, limes, etc is always fresh. My husband likes the meatball w/ steak pho. We eat at Taste of Pho as well, but the pho here is much tastier. The spring rolls in rice paper are ok, in that we order them every time, but have had better. The peanut sauce that goes with them is great. Definitely worth eating here or picking up to go! the pho here is lackluster. the broth isn't as good as other pho places in Houston, but I guess it will do if you're in the area. the meat was rough and chewy. the noodles took was very clumped together when we got our pho as if the bowl of noodles had been prepped the night before in a bowl. It gives me great pleasure to rate businesses at 5 stars when deserved. Kim Long is definitely one of such places. Even though it's located in a strip-mall type of an area, the interior of the restaurant is very inviting, clean, cozy, really well cared for. The tables are setup nicely with all the right condiments and utensils - everything is impeccably packed and spotless - clean (I guess I keep stressing this point because this is one of the cleanest ethnic restaurants I've been to in a while - so very nice!!!). The food was great too. I've had really good Vietnamese in Philly and NYC, and Kim Long compares very well - really good authentic Vietnamese dishes, generous portions. My favorite is the pho soups - I like them in all kinds of different combinations. The soup I had at Kim Long (lean meat #18) was delicious!!! The service was great too - attentive, very polite. I am usually very picky about service, and really have nothing to complain about at Kim Long (not sure why one of the previous reviews is a negative one - an off night, perhaps?). The young man and lady who served our lunch today were very attentive, friendly, polite. The food was served promptly, empty dishes cleaned immediately. It was a very pleasant lunch experience! I love Vietnamese food (so comforting!) and am very happy to have discovered Kim Long in this area. Will definitely want to come back! read more

Tasty, tasty pho (vietnamese soup). Nothing too special, but it is close to home. Costs about 7 bucks for a small bowl (I got the small and was completely full from it and I'm a big boy) of steaming broth and meat and a plate of fixins to add. Nothing to complain about other than they serve their sodas out of a can so no refills. The place seems pretty large and pretty empty. Hope they are able to make money and stay in business. Always good to know a good pho place nearby though. read more

Got here waitress was very rude brought us cups of ice that had quarter of them filled with water from ice melted. When we asked her to give us another cup to drain them she just looked angry..... we were afraid they would spit in our food as she was that unhappy to serve us and all we did was walk in. We ordered fried wontons and she brought them to us burnt. I wish I would have took pictures for you guys but my husband said, check pay and lets go NOW..... One of the best phos I've ever tasted and I have tasted many, including in Little Saigon in Orange County, CA. The beef broth is clear, light and flavorful without being salty. (I didn't need to drink a gallon of water afterwards). The vegetables served with the pho are fresh and crispy. My husband also enjoyed their rice noodle soup with shrimp, pork and chicken. The chicken broth was also fantastic. We also ordered salt & pepper squid. The squid was cooked perfectly - so tender and great flavor!! The restaurant is nice and clean (including the restroom). Nothing special about the food. Food was ok. Now onto the service. The waitress pestered me constantly prior to ordering my food and then disappeared completely for the rest of my visit. I had to wave her down if I wanted anything at all. Didn't check on my table to see how we were doing at all. Service here gets 0 stars for me. Will not be eating here again. read more
