She is super knowledgable about finding the right comps, lenders, inspectors, plumbers, contractors, neighborhoods, schools, and all other factors you might not even think of in purchasing/selling. Throughout both of our selling/buying processes, she was able to manage both very well in tandem. Gillian always kept important dates in front of us, communicated clear guidelines and expectations of what we needed to do at each step, and what to expect from the buyer/seller as well. What is probably one of Gillian's top qualities is that she's a realist. This is a key quality you want in any real estate agent. Someone who can give it to you straight with realistic expectations that doesn't try to sell you the moon. She doesn't overpromise on things outside of her control that she can't deliver. I have seen and heard of other agents who overpromise or aren't realistic and it ends up hurting people in the process, which leads to major disappointments, like houses sitting on the market for longer than expected, offers falling through, and other surprises. No such events occurred with Gillian in three different scenarios we've had with her. In fact, quite the opposite. We've loved every house decision we've made with her - purchasing our first home here, selling that same house, and buying our new house. At no part of buying/selling, was she every pushy nor pressure us into any decision. She would give strong advice at times to warn us about potential pitfalls, but knows when to give space and allowed us to come to a decision ourselves. We have built up a great relationship with her over time and now consider her like our real estate "mom" because she really cares about our livelihood and family!
