Hands down one of the best par 3 courses I have played. Well groomed, interesting holes. Great for beginners like me.

My wife gave me the gift of a Silver package of golf lessons as a Christmas present back in 2019,…read moreand I've been using them in 2020. Andy Jordan, the Shaker Hills pro is truly magnificent. He'll take some pictures of your swing, show you how to align/swing better and encourage your progress. He knows how to observe, advise and communicate in ways that truly help. My game has improved markedly as a result - down from mid-90s to mid-80s and could not be happier with the results. BTW - regarding all the gripes below, don't pay any attention to them. The course has the fastest, most challenging greens of any public course in the area and most of the holes are fair for weekend golfers.

Paid $160 for this round on a weekend. Multiple ground under repair spots, greens with patchy…read morespots, and tee boxes in rough shape. To start there are red tee times if you book 9 days in advance that charge a fee, but I booked a tee time that had an applied "booking fee" because I booked 8 days in advance but the tee time wasn't showing that when I booked. The driving range is very sub par at best. Nice mats, but can't hit anything over a 5 iron to warm up and you're in a hot zone for the 18th hole slicers. The beer drive thru barn is pretty cool but on a hot day there is no water refill on the course and no water refill in the beer barn so you're forced to pay for one to stay hydrated. To finish, holes are situated close to one another and you're in a gauntlet of trying to not get hit. This course used to be premier but now it's not worth the price. Can go play a round at a course that charges $80-$90 on the weekend and get better conditions.

5 hours ago November…read more29th, had 2 confirmed tee times at 6:45 and 8:54. Was told there would be a frost delay of roughly 2 hours 15mins. Fair enough, I understand its almost December, no issue with that. So basic math would tell you our tee times are now right around 9 and 11:10ish. We tee off right after 9 and play right at 2 hours. Again, basic math would tell you we are now roughly 15 minutes early for our 2nd tee time. When we check in with the 'clipboard' guy for our 2nd tee time, he tells us right away "its not looking good" but he goes in to check in with the clubhouse. We're a little confused as again, everything was delayed and moved down 2hrs 15 mins. Not too complicated. Clipboard guy comes back out and tells us "bad news, not looking like we can get you guys out. We're so backed up from the delay." At this point none of us know what to think as mathematically and the way time on this planet operates, we had two tee times 2hrs 11mins apart. Played our 1st nine in just at 2 hrs, so we are early for our 2nd 9. But now we are being told we can't play at all. While talking to the Clipboard guy, the Starter walks up to us and immediately gets defensive and repeats over and over there was a 2hr and 15min frost delay! And we reiterated we completely understood, but if everyone was pushed back, then our 2nd tee time, which we are early for, was also pushed back. Starter would not budge and one point just said "well I'm the Starter", which is not helpful at all clearly. Course is very mismanaged. Clearly a course that prefers their regulars to any other customer that shows up on time, plays quickly and has the audacity to expect to play both tee times they booked. With the amount of courses in the area, it's absurd that a 9 hole course that is a generous 'executive course' at best can't coordinate a frost delay, which is extremely common in New England. Curious if anyone from the course has thoughts, but I'm sure they're busy looking for groups in the parking lot after telling a foursome that was ready that they can't play

I played this course a few days ago. If you are looking to get 9 holes in and with no long waits on…read morethe tee box this is the place to go. I came from centeral MA for work and this was the only place around that had tee times. It's a small course but really fun to play.

Holy cow, this course is a ripoff. It is absolutely insane that they charge what other nearby 9…read morehole courses charge. This course is in contention for the most poorly-maintained course in New England. The sand traps are covered in weeds (not contain weeds, I mean covered in weeds, see pictures). And every single green is not playable. Giant divots everywhere and large patches of grass missing (see pictures). They also have the grounds maintenance crew weed whacking around the bunkers during peak hours. They will run the equipment during your shot usually, sometimes they will idle the equipment and watch you take your shot then go back to weed whacking. It's pretty uncomfortable. There is a pinch point in the course between hole 5 and 6, and you could be waiting for several minutes (I've waited well over 10 minutes before) before it clears out enough for you to play. If a course is going to be in poor shape like this one, fine. But don't charge $30 to walk 9 holes when I can go to Chelmsford for the same price and have all the holes well-maintained. Literally the only upside of this course is that you can get a tee time on a moments notice. I highly recommend going elsewhere though and pay the same price for a course where the owners take pride in it and actually maintain it.

This is a bunker on hole 5. Hard as a rock, barely any sand in it
