We hadn't done a maternity or newborn photoshoot with our firstborn, so wanted to do it for our second. I turned to my trustworthy mom groups on Facebook for recommendations and Kimberly was one of the recommendations I received. She was the one of the few photographers I reached out to, that was prompt, welcoming and detailed in her responses. Her patience in answering my laundry list of questions was what really won me over. I didn't realize there is so much work that goes into preparing for these things and Kimberly worked so hard with me to prep for the sessions, offering her guidance, client wardrobe and expertise throughout - from hair and makeup artist recommendations to suggesting the right locations for my selected outfits. On the day of the shoot itself, she was super punctual and helped put us at ease and captured those beautiful moments for our family. Based on her interactions with my son during our maternity shoot, she learnt to work with my son's temperament and handed him so well during the newborn shoot, that I was thrilled to see that she captured great shots with him and the baby.. after all, this was a big moment for our family! I was also super impressed that she soothed my baby enough that she cooperated for so long during the newborn shoot. Though she offers combo packages, she never once forced those options on me and was happy to work with what I wanted. Her timelines and flexibility are also worth calling out.
