Wings - supreme sauce. Perfect cook on the wings. The sauce was really really sweet.

We walked in and it reminded me a bit of how you'd walk into a chipotle. The dining area is spacious and would be good for a crowd. They had a big menu displaying drinks and their catering menu. A little odd - I think would be more beneficial if they displayed their daily menu instead. They did have smaller menus available by the register and you can check online. Food: Potato Dog - 4/5; there's no meat. Just cheese. I think mozzarella. I didn't realize it. But it was still really yummy. Bugolgi Kimbap - 4/5; It was good but I think the meat could use some extra salt. Wings - 5/5; I got the Supreme sauce and it was super sweet. A little too sweet for my liking. The cook on the chicken was great though. I'd get it again, but try a different sauce. Bulgogi Bibimbap - 3/5; we got this in the stone bowl, which cost an extra $2. I'd say, it just keeps the food warmer, but it doesn't crisp up the rice like how we thought it would. The bowl also needed more salt. I wouldn't get this again.

Food is great, fresh, and delicious. Tastes great and lots of veggies so a nice balance; Nutritious and very enjoyable. Service is quick and helpful. Love this place! My favorite thing to order is the popcorn chicken box-very friendly for people trying new things too.

This is a place for some really damn good fried chicken. I absolutely love their popcorn chicken, especially with the soy garlic sauce. So tasty. We usually get the large tray and have enough food for a couple meals. The red bean buns are delicious too...heck every thing is delicious. Kimchi Box is definitely a hidden gem on hall road.

I've been a regular customer here, often ordering the large tray which typically comes with a white styrofoam cup of pickled daikon as a garnish. However, lately, it's been a bit hit or miss. There have been times when I had to ask for daikon, only to be told they were either out for the day or could provide it upon request. Today, I ordered my usual and asked for the daikon. The cashier asked if I was Korean, and when I said no, she informed me that daikon is free for Korean customers, but I would have to pay $1 or $2 because I wasn't. I found this explanation quite unusual and a little awkward. I'm still a fan of the food, but this experience left me a bit confused.

Surprisingly good! This was my first time at this spot and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't eat meat so there wasn't a lot of options, which made finding food difficult here but I was able to get something I don't see listed on the menu. It was a bowl with rice, glass noodles, lettuce, fried tofu, sauces, etc. The employees were quick with preparing our order. The price was okay. The inside was nice, lots of seating area but we got takeout. I believe my friend got a chicken Kimchi box, they said it was good! Would recommend!

What a find! This unassuming venue packs a flavor punch that will have me seeking it out anytime I'm in the lower peninsula. K-FRIED WINGS with Korean Sassy sauce were easily the star of the meal. I polished these off first with a side of SASSY FRIES. BULGOGI TACOS were solid and could have been a light lunch on their own. I ordered a bit too much food, but was very happy to indulge in the leftovers the next day. *While my love of Korean flavors + never-ending quest for wings + reviews made this an easy choice, if it weren't for other Yelpers, I don't think I'd have found this gem. I can't thank the community enough!

Came here for lunch and it was delicious! I've been hearing about this place since they opened and I'm glad we finally tried it. Abundance of seating. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. I got the Seoul Chicken Sandwich which is made with chicken thighs and is super saucy. So tasty. My mom got a new menu item that was a KBBQ bowl also with chicken and it had lots of sauce and some veggies, rice and noodles! It was a large portion and she took half to go. They also have Korean corn dogs that have 2 per order so we got the potato dogs and of course they were great. Can't go wrong with a mozzarella filled corn dog! Pricing is really good hear too. Lots of food for cheap prices. Definitely would recommend coming here. I want to try more menu items in the future.

Amazing food, great staff and atmosphere with tons of sitting area. Our only gripe is that you don't have dessert or drinks, but a place worth stopping by for sure. The steamed dumplings are amazing but the bulgogi taco is my favorite thing I've tried here.

Went to a brewer for brunch & their kitchen was closed so I had to scramble to find a place for takeout. This place was chosen simply bc i like kbbq. I ordered the bulgogi bimibap. Estimated pickup time was 20min. My friend went after 15min & called me to tell me that bulgogi wasn't available. I was not contacted directly to be told that there was an issue w/ my order. I chose spicy pork. All the meat is $2.00 & my card had been charged when I made the order. The marinated cucumber was absolutely delicious.

This is my second time eating here. First at this location. I didn't know it was a chain. Honestly this place is pretty consistent between the two I've tried. This place is kinda hipster. Loud music. You order at the register. The food quantity and quality is good. I honestly liked the Plymouth location better. The food was a little spicier. The bulgogi tacos are pretty epic. Decided to check this place out after seeing chowdowndetroit's TikTok and I'm so glad I did! Sassy Fries (mozzarella, sour cream, and spicy Mayo): so crispy. I would have liked some more toppings but the fries were crispy enough to be enjoyed in their own. Wings (half Soy Garlic half Korean Sassy): LOVED THESE. Amazing crunch, perfect sauce to wing ratio, and the quality of the chicken was good. Half and half is the way to go because you get the sweet/spicy and the savory. Thighs (half Soy half Sassy): still yummy but not as crisp as the wings. Can't wait to try it on their chicken sandwich. All in all, give this place a try! The staff is very friendly, chill environment (+doesn't smell like fried oil despite an open kitchen), and delicious food. Just avoid wearing a white shirt and prepare to use a lot of napkins.

Location in Auburn Hills is far better. I've gone here three or four times because I had never gotten to eat Korean food before. When the Auburn Hills location opened, I decided to go try it, and to my surprise everything tasted AMAZING compared to this location's hit or miss. I don't know what it is that makes this one so mediocre, but I don't go to it at all anymore even though it's much closer to where I live. read more

My favorite place to eat at these days. It's so nice to have something thats different than all the other restaurants in the area. My favorite things to get are the bulgogi and spicy pork (sometimes tacos, sometimes the box), the chicken sandwich and kimchi fries (if you don't mind spending extra, get it with bulgogi, amazing!). I pick up food from here almost every week and it never disappoints! read more

Sorry not sorry but this place was not it! The Seoul chicken sandwich was tasteless and rubbery. There was definitely no seasoning prior to cooking it. Dosing the chicken in sauce does not save it if not properly seasoned. Now, don't get me started with the hormone injected chicken wings. Chicken wings should not look like they're on steroids. My friend and I had one bite and we were out. It was inedible because of the gamey taste. Definitely my first and last time. read more

Absolutely amazing. I got kimchi fries, the 6 piece chicken and the chicken sandwich. All foods were packed full of flavor. If you wish to have a good meal, it is definitely worth the money and experience. I will be going there more often read more

My mom and I just tried a range of foods off the menu. Spent around $40 and tried a bunch so it's not too pricey. Wings:Delicious, oh my so good, you have to order if you like crunch. Tacos - the bulgogi beef amazing!!! Bibimbap soooo good!! Fried vegetable dumplings tasty tasty. Corn dogs not so good, way too much breading but besides that it was oh so delicious. After watching many kdramas , I knew I had to try Korean chicken and hotdog! This is probably one of the first place I know that serves them in MI. After trying the hotdog, I think I can live without it. It wasn't what I expected. It was too sweet. The chicken was perfectly cooked although I prefer bonchon over this anyway. One other thing, I really wished they serve beer! read more

Amazingly good! The chicken is SOOO good. I highly recommend the Korean Sassy sauce. It has just the right amount of kick to it even if you're not a spicy fan. The kimchi fries are off the hook! Make sure to add the bulgogi! If I could rate it higher than five, I would! So 10/10! read more

Walked in wanting to try something new and we where greeted with dirty looks from the women at the front. We didn't exactly know the protocols for the restaurant. The lady continued to be rude and racist as I placed my order. I went back to place another order and she got smart with me and continued to be rude as I placed. I had to ask for my drink even though I ordered it prior to placing a second order. The food honestly isn't worth the racism. read more

food was cold and took almost 40 minutes to be packaged. food was sitting under the heat lamp for 30 minutes while we watched and waited for it to be given to us. overall bad experience and could've been better :/ Also received attitude from the worker when asking how much time was left for our food to come out to us after waiting 35 minutes. read more

We were excited to come try the food here but unfortunately the customer service was horrible. We waited for almost an hour to get our food. It seemed like they were prioritizing to go orders over the people that were sitting in the restaurant. People who ordered take out after us got their food fast. They didn't give order numbers and were confused on who ordered what for people that were seated. Ultimately we couldn't even eat our food because we had to go somewhere and they were taking forever so we ended up having to ask them for a refund. Not sure that I would come back here again when the service is bad. read more

When they first opened food was amazing! Still has great flavors but starting to see them skimp. I order bi bim bop twice a week here and in the last few weeks, less bulgogi, less japchae noodles, no egg and more rice and now they are adding a ton of Romaine as a filler. I really hope they go back to how they started even if it means prices go up. read more

I am really disappointed with this food place. I like Korean food a lot and my expectation must have been high because I am used to going to those authentic Korean restaurants in Troy. We were planning to eat at the table outside but they were dirty so we decided to go for take-out. I ordered a medium box of popcorn chicken. Many of those pieces were just starch/cornstarch with no chicken in them. It reminds me of those popcorn chicken from the mall food court. The only difference is that those from the food court are way cheaper and way more delicious. The bibimbap was not any better. There is simply something that is not right with the shredded egg that I could not described. The rice tasted stale. The worst part was that the meat was missing (supposed to have small amount of spicy pork)!!! I wish I could say good things about the menu but I guess I will just stick with those authentic Korean restaurants on 16/Dequindre and on Rochester Road between 16 & 17, both in Troy. read more

It's important to note that the sandwich has slaw and pickles on top. It isn't listed in their menu, but we knew ahead of time because of the pictures. This place used to be good food at a reasonable price, rather reminiscent of mom and pop style quick bite places in Korea. Fried stuff, some traditional fast food style dishes, K-Pop videos blaring. Good times. (I did a stint as an English teaching serf there, so I am familiar with the style). Lately however, the food and service has gone downhill. The kitchy Korean food and drink advertisements on the wall are peeling, the floors are dirty, the rubbish bins are overflowing. The service has definitely become crappier, disengaged staff on their phones ignore people waiting on their food. To go orders are just put on the warm rack, not called out. No utensils or napkins automatically included, you have to specifically ask for them. The food has also gotten more greasy, less carefully prepared. Stomach aches followed by hours on the toilet have become more common. I think there's been a change of management, or ownership or something, because this place kinda sucks now. read more
