The best Chinese food around! The staff here is really friendly and the food is excellent! The Almond Chicken here is made perfect! It's difficult to find this style of almond chicken outside of Michigan, with NY Chinatown being the exception! The soup comes with a fresh dinner roll and crackers which should be standard but charged as extra at other places. The only negative that I found is that rice is not included with your almond chicken entree, you have to order it as an extra. read more

Great food just more pineapples with sweet sour pork and carrots plus extra spring rolls with every order.

We have been a regular here for over 3 years, and have always loved the food. The last 2 times..... not so much... Our chicken dishes last night had a funny taste.. almost like the chicken was soaked in vinegar.... And my sesame chicken was a different color and taste. The dinner rolls were dry and the soap barely warm.... Maybe a new cook???? We will try again but it may be our last.... read more

Review on the Chicken lo main only! My takeout was disappointing, I called and had it replaced and the replacement was still not what I was hoping for. No flavor, overcooked and pale lo main. My son and I went here for the first time and will definitely be back! We ate in and were very impressed with the decor and the hospitality. The won ton soup was outstanding. I tried crab rangoon for the very first time and was blown away. My son has had it many times prior and declared that this was the best that he had ever had. My almond chicken was oustanding and actually had almonds on it, which is so rare these days with restaurants cutting back. I mean, why call it "almond" chicken sans the almonds? We tried a new location, and we are still looking. Sweet and Sour chicken is average. The Wonton Soup had barely a dot of pork in it. Everyone one I bit was tasting waxy. I am guessing it was all Won dumpling and no Ton pork.. The Chinese Vegatable soup is horrible. The plan was to have it for lunch or a late snack. After not going so well with the wonton soup, i decided to give this a quick try. Ours was full of bean sprout, which has no mention of it on the menu. No broccoli, and a sprinkle of boy choy, carrots, and canned mushrooms. That is a quart if soup down the drain, literally. The Szechuan beef is okay. at least the beef is tender. I live in 18 Mile and mound. In an 8 mile radius of my humble abode there are at least 15 different Chinese takeout places. ("Muis" on 14 Mile Rd. in Clawson is just outside of that range, and just for their bread alone the roll that you get with each meal I would place them at the top as well) With your meal, ask to substitute the fried rice for pork fried rice. Which is exactly what it sounds like. It's got little tiny pieces of pork in it that add extra flavor and chewy and I highly highly recommend it. You could eat that all by itself. Anyways, I have ordered the almond chicken as well as the sweet and sour chicken and they're so good that I haven't ordered any other meals I must admit. But with that being said, this food is that good. It's fantastic actually. The chicken is a bit higher quality than most chicken that you get at Chinese restaurants. It's the right amount of breading. The sauce is good even. They don't overwhelm you with tons of vegetables and skimp out on the chicken. Big portions. One meal can easily feed two people, like most Chinese carry out places. Anyways where I'm going with this is, I definitely recommend trying this place. OMG BECKY GOOD FOOD ALERT!!! Sorry I don't have photos. We were so hungry and with our family. The food was outstanding. The egg rolls were crisp and not greasy at all. The chicken chop suey was the best Derrick had in a very long time. Very old school Chinese for sure. We also had cashew chicken and my brother in law ate his entire plate. I had the almond boneless chicken and it took me right back to 1985 the very first time I had the dish. I loved it. The chicken was so moist and the coating was so good it melted in my mouth. Nothing was anything how you would expect it. Let me tell you what we got and what was weird about everything. Egg Roll: looks normal. Tasted like old rotting root vegetables. No egg inside just packed with brown bean sprouts. Tasted very very old. General Tao Chicken: came out looking awesome. Each piece was so so caked in chewy doughy thick coating of dough. Very very weird. Looked and tasted undercooked Sweet & Sour Chicken. Same thick thick undercooked dough covering the possibly undercooked chicken. Cream cheese wonton. ZERO cream cheese in sight. No filling, very bland. Egg drop soup. No flavor very weird taste. I hate to post these reviews like this. I was just trying to have a nice meal with my wife and I left eating barely anything and trying not to throw up at the restaurant or after. Just ok... we ordered the lunch specials and it is a good deal with a lot of food for lunch but the quality lacked a little bit for me. I got the lo mein and it came with a side of fried rice and egg roll. The lo mein looked like spaghetti noodles with the veggies on top and lacked flavor. I had to cover it with soy sauce. The fried rice was good. The egg roll had shrimp in it, which we don't eat and didn't realize until we broke it open that it has shrimp. Overall it would not be my first choice for Chinese food. read more
