I had to pay $90, I was not expecting that due to the fact that I got the most basic French tips. I've never paid more than $70 for a set of nails. Also, I had a man doing my nails, and he did not know what he was doing. For example, he started off by putting stickers around my and then just dragging acrylic all the way down the stickers. Then, my nail was about 2 inches thick and after he finished the French tip part which wasn't even a French tip. It was just a line across my nails. After that, some other lady came over and had to drill it and redo the whole entire thing and I had plans that I was late for. I also on that day went with my friend, and her nails were bleeding in six different spots. I overall would not recommend but I would say that they gave us a good gift after of a little panda that had a light. read more

First off, the only place I have been to that offers a student discount. They make sure to ask if you are a student before the ring you up. So much better than any other nail salon on this road I can promise you. Don't even waste your time going somewhere else. Staff is very friendly. They are the only place I have found that DOES NOT MAKE YOUR GEL EXTENSIONS LOOK LIKE A THICK PIECE OF SHIT. They make them thin and natural looking. First of all, salon is dirty. I asked for particular colors and service began. When it came time to apply the color the products I requested were not being used. I was told it was "similar" to what I requested. I was well into the visit so stopping service is not that easy. I was then shown the exact product I wanted and was told they just put it into different container. I highly doubt that. lastly, the dip powder was stuck to my skin!!!! I've been coming here for years and the quality has definitely decreased. I wasn't too pleased with the quality of the paint job on my toes, and it took about 45 minutes to take a gel manicure off my fingers. Now I only go for the brow and lip waxing. Very friendly service though! read more

You always get a good manicure here. The shop is clean and bright. The instruments are clean and the pedicure basins are cleaned/disinfected after each person. The manicurists are nice. I actually like that we don't speak the same language because it lets me just sit in peace and relax. You also get a neck and shoulder massage while drying. This is my go-to place for pedicures. The owner (I think?) is very friendly and always greets me upon entering. The place looks very clean and sanitary. The nail techs don't speak much English, but they are always smiling and courteous, and usually don't talk to their coworkers in another language while they are working with you (I hate that). I used to request Aaron because I was so happy with his work, but one day he wasn't there and I had Ana, and she was just as good. I can't speak for other services but for pedis I like coming here and will continue to do so. read more

Kimmie's is an excellent nail salon. The salon itself is neat, clean, comfortable, and pretty. Relaxing music is played, and there are lots of current, popular magazines to read during pedi's. The entire staff is efficient, friendly, and if they are ever stressed they don't show it. I've been going there since the new owner took over about 2/1/2 years ago, and she did my nails several years prior at another salon. I drive a bit father now but its worth it! She always knows what is best for me, and takes excellent care of my hands and feet. My mani's and pedi's always look lovely - and last! I had been going to kimmies for years, but after a few very uncomfortable pedicures and manicures, I'm finding a new place. I agree with another reviewer--quality has decreased. The straw that broke the camel's back was having my cuticle clipped so short it bled, and it HURT!!!! I was still asked to pay, though, even though I left before the polish was applied.
