My daughter and I spent a day together for my birthday and we wanted to get our nails painted so we went to CA Nails in Cheshire. The older Asian woman was rude and rushed through my manicure, then pushed us both out before my nails were dry. I didn't say anything at the time because the manicure was a gift from my daughter. Anytime you drive by, you can see they have no customers, that should tell you a lot. Do yourself a favor and go to another nail salon. read more

I came here after my mom raved about their attention to detail and the massage they give you with the service. I had a very pleasant experience and will for sure be back. I often avoid salons because everything feels rushed and like you can't ask them to, say, re-do a nail or put on another coat of polish etc. However, my nail tech was so attentive and made me feel welcomed. When at the end of my gel mani pedi I noticed the polish on my thumb nail had come off, I felt comfortable bringing it up and asking her to fix it. She did so right away without hesitation. The overall experience and results were exactly what I was looking for. So glad I found my go-to place August 2020-Third time I come in for a gel mani pedi... I didn't notice the bad nail polish job until I was home. I was hopeful this place was it. I made an appt and called for a last minute appt time change, which they happily accommodated. The space is smaller and appears older than other salons in town but they make up for it in service and pricing. It was quiet on a Tuesday afternoon and I was quickly seated for a gel mani ($25 plus tax)--best price I have found in this area. We (mom went with me but didn't have any services) were offered water right away plus a comfy seat for mom to wait in. The manicure was lovely and included a short hand and short back massage. I also appreciated the included paraffin wax dip...plus they had snacks to offer. Overall I was very pleased and will go back again... ignore the review from 2010 on here because this place has since changed ownership and Yelp doesn't update for that! read more

California nails has several different types of pedicures, which include: a standard pedicure, the spa pedicure and the deluxe pedicure. We got the spa pedicure for $25. We highly recommend it. We arrived on a weekday before 5 pm and a significant amount of time and attention was given to us. The massage chairs are fantastic. If you desire a design or french on your nails, it's an additional $5. The spa pedicure includes hot wax, hot rock massage, hot towels, a salt bath and a massage by the nail technician at the end. Favorite place to go get my nails done! Ken always makes sure my nails are perfect and just the way I want them! All the staff is beyond nice and helpful! While you are getting your nails done they offer you unlimited beverages, snacks, and candy! Great color selection, wonderful service, and affordable. Every 2 weeks I get an acrylic fill with gel polish for $25. And sometimes even treat myself to a spa pedicure for $25 which includes paraffin wax, a full massage, and a hot rock. You can't get these prices anywhere else. Definitely would recommend! read more

I used to go there in high school. The way they sanitize their instruments is disgusting. They put it under a "UV" ray machine, to try and make it look like they are sanitizing it. GROSS. Sorry to say but they are "typical" Chinese people. They sit there and laugh at you and talk in Chinese, and then will make faces at you. They think you have no idea whats going on. I will never go back there b/c of these things. Horrible. read more

I gave it one star because it won't let me give it zero stars. I didn't end up getting my nails done. My review is based on my 45 waiting experience. I understand it takes time to get your nails done and I understand that you have to wait. I have no issues with that however today I had other errands to run. I walked in and was told no problem and to pick a color. Picked my color and sat. Someone walked in for a wax and he stopped doing the woman's nails to go do the wax. At this time I had been waiting over a half hour when initially I had been told no problem pick a color- I walked around the corner to find an employee to inquire about how much longer of a wait it was going to be. The man doing the wax started yelling from the area that I hadn't been waiting that long and he said he would be right with me. First of all my time is valueable. If you can't be upfront with me and say it's going to take a half hour then why am I giving you my business. Second- it is not appropriate to yell at me from the other side of the room and tell me I haven't been waiting that long. He then had a woman come over to start my nails so I sat down and he continued to yell in another language which one can only assume it was about the situation. At this time I stood up and said I'm sorry i can't support your business with my money if you don't value my time. He rudely said bye and clearly did not care that I was offended, upset by his actions, and most of all lost a customer who will never go back. I left and went to another nail salon down the road and was in and out. I will be going there from now on. read more

Ken & his wife took over the salon I want so say a few years ago. I NEVER wait to have my nails done. Gel is only $25 and basic pedicure is $20. You really cannot get those prices anywhere else!! The gel manicure comes with a hot wax dip, hot towels, lotion, massage, you name it. My nails last for weeks, and they are always so kind. read more

This business sold in early 2011....the new owners have revamped it completely and I enjoy going there. It is clean and they do a very good job. The prices are competitive and it's very reasonable. Service has been good and they are very friendly. read more

Amazing service! Best pedicure I have had in years. They go the extra mile to make sure you come back.

I had a full set of silk nails applied and three days later one fell off, two corners chipped and when I went back to get them repaired three others had to be removed because they were going to come off. I was then charged for a fill! I do not believe I should have been charged at all. I should have charged them for the personal time I wasted having to go back. The new set have stayed on but the corners are so sharp I have cut myself several times. Since they felt it was necessary to charge me for their faulty application I will never walk through those doors again and their willingness to exploit a customer earned them this rating. read more

I saw these two bad reviews when I went to check the hours this am....both of these were posted under the previous owner. It since has been bought by a new owner a few years back. Ken and his wife run a very clean and friendly establishment. Having been someone who has switched nail salons several times, including when the old owner ran this salon, it is huge for me to comment positively. Average nail salon. Upset my gel nails only lasted one week. It is very hot, no AC. They do have free water bottles which is nice.
