My appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM with Nicole, her last appointment of the day, and I wasn't taken back until 5:50 PM. Once I was in the treatment room, it immediately felt rushed. While discussing my injection plan, I asked for a mirror so I could point out specific areas on my face. Although she briefly handed it to me, she quickly took it back. When I asked if I could keep the mirror in my lap to reference during the appointment, she responded by asking if I was "scared," which felt both dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering I've been treated by her multiple times before. Additionally, she did not use the vein finder, despite knowing that I bruise easily and having the device readily available in the room. As a result, I was left with bruising that lasted for weeks. The overall tone of the appointment shifted at that point. The interaction became uncomfortable, and the provider's body language was noticeably standoffish. At one point, when discussing my brow area, I again needed the mirror to show what I was referring to, and the same pattern occurred...brief access, then taken away. Later, when I was bleeding and asked for the mirror to see where to apply pressure, it felt like an inconvenience rather than a reasonable request. The experience at checkout was equally disappointing. The receptionist only stated the total amount due, with no acknowledgment, courtesy, or even a simple "thank you" or "goodbye." This visit left me feeling rushed, dismissed, and uncomfortable...especially for a service that requires trust, communication, and attention to detail. It was clear to me during the appointment that this would be my last time there. Moving forward, I will be returning to a med spa that prioritizes professionalism, transparency, and patient care. In my experience, higher-quality practices take the time to review products with clients, including showing packaging, expiration dates, and lot numbers, and ensure the patient feels informed and respected throughout the process. I hope the owner takes feedback like this seriously, as experiences like mine can result in the loss of long-time clients.

Plus, Aroma used hot stones towards the end which other places did not and it felt great. The best was my first a reflexologist I stumbled up in London at a salon within a mall. It was painful; like she was stripping my skin of the bone but at the end, it felt like I was walking on pillows. I felt so light on my feet. I've never experienced anything close to again and wish I could. It could be because it was first time and she loosened all the knots and tight foot muscles. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying their regular body massage in the future when I'm back for next Vet visit. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have an appointment?" No one asked what service I was looking for or made me feel welcomed. The massage itself was also disappointing. He mainly massaged my back, and his hands were very rough. For my legs, he put a towel over them and lightly massaged over/around them. For what was supposed to be a full-body massage, I honestly felt like I paid $45 for almost nothing. On top of that, a woman was talking nearby during my massage, which made it difficult to relax. The worst part was at checkout. I initially planned to leave a tip, but after thinking about the quality of the service, I reduced the amount. The woman looked at what I gave her and said, "That's all?" She then pointed to a sign saying the tip was supposed to be 20%. I explained that their own sign says tips are appreciated. A tip is optional and based on the service received I had already paid the full price for my service. Customers should never be pressured or shamed into leaving a certain percentage, especially after receiving a disappointing service. Between the poor customer service, lackluster massage, noisy environment, and uncomfortable interaction over the tip, I will not be returning.

Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no.
