I called A+ Nail for an appointment, the gentleman I spoke to and I agreed on 1:30pm. I showed up a few minutes late. Upon arrival there were four or five technicians working on people, so they sat me down at pedi chair and this is where the problem started...I waited a good 5-8 mins before someone came to start pedi. Once pedi began, I was again to wait for a different tech to come finish pedi and paint my nails. While waiting, I observed a tech taking care of two people at the same time. ?!?!?! I'm totally confused why they'd do something like this. I feel they take on too many people for the amount of techs they have. I would not go back, just wasn't a good fit for me.

During the appointment, the process felt rushed and overly aggressive. By the time I left, my hands were already throbbing, and within hours they were literally pulsating in pain. It wasn't just mild discomfort--it was intense enough that I couldn't ignore it or sleep properly. I ended up having to get the nails removed elsewhere shortly after because the pain was unbearable. What's worse is that the damage didn't stop there. It's now been months, and I'm still dealing with visible bruising and sensitivity in my nail beds. That's not something anyone should have to deal with from a simple nail service. I reached out to the salon to explain what happened, hoping for some accountability or at least a refund. Unfortunately, they refused to offer any kind of refund or assistance and didn't seem interested in resolving the situation at all. It was Sunday evening and Vivian was the only place open and taking walk-in appointments. Upon arrival, we were taken right away and the staff was extremely nice. My technician started conversation, was interested in my visit to East Lansing, and did a great job on my nails! The salon had a clean bathroom and all-around clean facilities. My gel manicure turned out great and they even gave me a punch card (which I gave to my friend who lives there). After three visits they offer 10% off your fourth! Walk in and its really inviting. Salon space was kind of small but welcoming and homey feeling. There are 3 ladies that work there and they were all really nice and funny. I got a simple cut and eyebrow wax. Price was amazing and Becky did a great job. Will definitely be going back in the future and cant wait to bring my daughter in for a cut and color in the upcoming weeks!! Great little place! I live in DeWitt but will gladly drive to Holt just to have this salon be my hair place from now on!
