This review is really for Laz parking that runs the valet service at the st Regis. Horrible Valet Parking! They valet park for the hotel and for other businesses in the complex. At midnight when many people are leaving the restaurants and hotel, there are two valet attendants. One is absolutely rude and has walked past me and my husband five times as we say excuse me and try to give him the valet ticket to retrieve our car! I am in hospitality so service is my business and this valet misses the mark by far! I would have given a zero, but it has to get a star in order to leave a review! read more

What can i say that hasn't already been said, it's the St Regis in Buckhead. A luxury hotel, but i noticed several differences compared to the St Regis in Chicago built in 2020, but we are talking about an age difference of eleven years. Now, every website that i visited before leaving felt like it was stuck on repeat with "Is Atlanta safe for visitors? Is Buckhead safe ar night." I read that Buckhead, is starting to hire off-duty police officers to patrol its streets and commercial centers. So yes, Buckhead is safe. Yet, that indicates that they don't think the Atlanta Police Department is getting the job done. So why chance someplace else out in the area? Mind you there are plenty of restaurants in the area, and don't overlook the Atlas, which is the St Regis's onsite restaurant; plus, there is a grocery store, even a Jeni's Ice Cream parlor across the street. All perfectly safe. If you're looking for a wedding dress, there is a Mandi Jackson Bridel on the first floor, kind of pricey but that's weddings for you. read more

What started as a wonderful birthday spa day at the St. Regis, with a massage and facial that were genuinely relaxing. Unfortunately, the experience ended in a very stressful way. I signed my bill for $917, which included a 22% gratuity. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I was actually charged $1055, an overcharge of $138. I immediately called the spa to report the issue. The staff initially said they were unaware of the discrepancy and would investigate. They later left me a message, and when I called back, the person assisting me did not seem to understand the issue. While looking into it, she placed me on hold and then accidentally hung up. After calling multiple times with no answer, I finally reached the front desk manager and requested to speak with the General Manager. What concerns me most is that I was told they intentionally charged the higher amount and that my bank would credit me later. I have never heard of this practice. If a guest signs for a specific amount, that should be the amount charged. This situation completely changed what was supposed to be a relaxing birthday experience into a stressful one. I am requesting that a General Manager contact me directly to resolve this issue and explain why my card was charged more than the amount I authorized. My advice to others: always check your credit card statements carefully, even at high-end properties. read more

Visited the Spa at the St. Regis for a self-care day. It was booked a month in advance and details for parking (valet), location (4th floor), and the price (22% gratuities added). I booked the stress relief massage for a Monday during lunch time. It wasn't that busy but when I walked in, I was immediately greeted and checked in and then walked to the back. I was given a tour of the spa amenities which included a sauna, a steam room, showers, and was waiting area. Please note, that you will receive a glass of champagne and cute little macaroons either before or after your massage. I initially booked the 90 minute massage but had to cut it down to 60 minutes due to scheduling conflicts with myself. Overall it was a great experience. I do wish there were access to pools or jacuzzi but I enjoyed and I will be booking again. read more

It is so refreshing to experience a hotel that still keeps it's standards high, especially concerning customer service. Everything about my stay was perfect, and I mean perfect. Everything gets a 10/10. Cleanliness, Amenities, Guest Services, The FOOD omg. I have so much to say! To start, I chose to valet my car. The valet gentlemen were very kind and professional. It was $60 per night for overnight parking, which was expected considering the type of hotel it was, and it seemed pretty normal for the city. For our room, well, if all we did was stay in the room, I think I still would have left satisfied. The room was breathtaking. We had a junior suite that had a balcony. It gave timeshare vibes, I actually forgot I was in Atlanta. (see pics/vids). The room service was amazing. I typically don't have high expectations when it comes to room service, I usually order it to hold me over until my actual meal. However, the room service at St Regis, specifically the breakfast, blew me away. We ordered the avocado toast, and the St Regis omelet. While it sounds like a simple breakfast, it was SO GOOD. I don't know what it was about the way they cooked the bacon inside the omelet, but there was so much flavor in there...which from the looks of the outside of it, you couldn't even tell. The pool/pool bar also added to the "timeshare vibes" that the hotel was giving. I just couldn't get over how beautiful the experience was. We ordered coconut water (in the coconuts) Had some great bites by the pool, I really felt like I was on vacation. This might be one of my longest reviews, and I still have so much to say, but this has by far been the best, and I mean THEE best hotel experience I have ever had. I have worked in hospitality most of my career, and I have never seen this type of consistency at a hotel. I do have to give some quick shoutout's to some of the lovely staff who made the stay even more worthwhile. Went there on a Saturday evening. I sat at the bar, and all of the bartenders were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which set the tone for the night. I had the Wagyu sliders, which were flavorful and well done, and the ahi tuna was very tasty, slightly on the smaller side, but still high quality and beautifully prepared. The cocktails were excellent, balanced and well crafted, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the moment. The overall vibe was very chill and calm, perfect for unwinding without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Definitely a place I'd return to for drinks and bites at the bar. read more

So I'm actually surprised I have not reviewed the St. Regis-I have been here several times for different reasons- to partake in their Sunday High Tea, to go to the Garden Room, to enjoy the bar, and to attend several events. Each and every time service has been immaculate and top tier. Although this is a very high-end destination and can be intimidating, I've never been made to feel less than here. I came here for a charity event. The location is lavish from what I saw of it. The event was. The Johnny Mac Foundation supporting kids of war veterans that don't make it home and making it possible for them to go to college. It was a worthy event! It took place in the area outside the ball room and in the bell room it's self. The reception area was well done but the area although not over packed seemed to get quite loud. It was hard to talk to people right next to you. The ball room was nicely done, the food was pretty good considering they were preparing for over 200 people at one time, and the service was fantastic! Might have been the best service I have experienced at an event like this. Over all this was a good venue for the event, elegant, nicely prepared, Brett descent food, and great service... We came for Afternoom Tea to celebrate my sister's birthday. From the time we arrived until the time we departed everything was lovely. I definitely recommend this for a solo date or date with friends. Parking is valet and $15 once validated while attending afternoon tea. ~~Mother's Day Tea Time~~ St. Regis has a special when there are calendar events, and on mother's day they opened for a tea time special. It's pricey, but I think it was well worth it when you have something to celebrate. Tea time at the St. Regis is all about the experience. All sort of ages for mothers were here to enjoy tea and celebrating with their family. What do you get for the price? I want to first off and say it's the experience. You dine on the second floor of the St. Regis, there's live music in the lobby which the musician actually comes up and plays for you and the other patrons, and finally you get the chance to just enjoy tea and have tea time snacks. The teas they offer are some that you may have never had so I thought that was special. Lastly, you get a picture to commemorate the experience. As far as food, you get a bite of everything. There's savory, there's sweet, there's bread and sandwiches. I think it was a bit sweet for some of the snacks, but overall I thought they were all tasty. The experience was special and I would definitely think of coming back another time to commemorate the memory. read more

I now realize that my voice is too loud for me to stay in genteel locations like this, which is too bad, because this country mouse enjoyed the hell outta her visit. I stayed here for a work event and felt like even the discounted event pricing was insane, until I got here and now I get it. The room is lightly fragrant - tres chic! There's an orchid on the dresser - luxe! There is a bathtub the approximate depth of a medieval moat - opulent! Most importantly to me, the sumptuous Frette robe and crisp sheets have that perfect hotel bleach air about them. Amazing, AMAZING hospitality from the moment you arrive! We were greeted in the lobby with champagne and macarons on arrival, and that set the tone for our stay. Jeffery and Sarah at guest services checked us in quickly and very efficiently while chatting with us about the area and things to do here. Our room was lovely and we were treated to a nice fruit bowl and kind card from the staff. Breakfast (smoked salmon bagel and eggs Benedict) was private dining in our suite which was an added luxury. Whomever does the hiring here does a wonderful job, everyone we met was genuinely kind and very professional. We were afraid that we would be out of place here because of the formality of the hotel but this was absolutely not the case. We will be back and will ALWAYS recommend the St. Regis, House of Astor, to our friends. read more

Came here for a stay-cation and to enjoy the pool. It was a slow Tuesday so I was able to easily get my room upgraded to a suite. I absolutely loved my stay. I had a huge room that was basically a small apartment. It came with a living room, bar, kitchenette, full vanity, shower, separate jacuzzi tub and his & her closets. Pool season was over so there was no beverage service but the pool guy really worked to accommodate me. I look forward to staying here again once there's full service at the pool. read more

Valet team Friendly welcome when we pulled in. Once confirmed we were checking in, the valet asked our last name, I was helped out the truck, our bags taken out of the trunk and brought to the registration where we were introduced to Patrick. Patrick greeted us with a warm smile, explained the property and amenities. Room We booked the room with a king bed and larger patio area for morning coffee (I think it's the grand deluxe room) and it was perfection! Nicely appointed and luxurious yet welcoming and comfortable. Dining We had a late lunch at the pool. Roshod was our bartender and server and was spot on! They split the Cobb salad for us and we had 2 tuna tartars (they were pretty small) Dinner we dined at Chop which is not a part of The St. Regis but is adjacent. See separate review. We had after dinner drinks in the Garden room! Great service and drinks. The people watching was fun but the highlight was the music - deep house lounge! Breakfast the following morning we were floored with the service and food at Astor Court. The tables were set with a full formal breakfast flat and dining wares. Jia, Tiara (sp?) and Charles were attentive, didn't leave any detail addressed (ie removed the toast plate and wares once I ordered). I know small detail but noticed. I enjoyed the location specific Paces Ferry Bloody Mary and it was perfectly balanced spicy and taster with the ideal amount of tomato flavor vodka! The eggs benedict was one of the best I've ever had and hubs enjoyed the standard eggs, bacon and toast. But the star of the meal was the coffee! Brewed to be strong but not bitter with plenty of flavor. Amazing!!!! Spa OMG I only wish we had gotten here earlier so I could take full advantage the steam and sauna BEFORE my massage. Terri was my spa valet - she provided a friendly explanation of the spa, showed the various amenities and made me feel welcomed. Masseuse was used the perfect pressure and offered various scents for my massage oil. Hubs enjoyed his massage and felt relief from a sore Achilles tendon. Flew into Atlanta to have a "Spa Day" with my adult daughter only to have our services cancelled the morning of. One would think with a high price-tag experience like the St. Regis, they would have measures in place when their nail staff needs to take an emergency day off. The way the Spa manager handled it was less than par. Two boxes of bath salts and some Bonvoy points...my daughter can't feel bonvoy points. The assistant front desk manager, Jack Kurlander didn't seem to care either. Other lesser of a deal issues: check in was not available at 4pm and staff couldn't find my room for the morning coffee (the entire 3 day stay). For the money one pays to stay here, one would think the service and customer relations would be better. If you are banking on this for a special occasion, I would spend your money elsewhere. read more

~~ A Spa Day Review ~~ The St. Regis Atlanta was in tip-top holiday season! After valenting our car, we stepped into what felt like Hallmark Card. There was a beautifully big lit tree that was decorated to the nines with an amazing saxophonist playing holiday jazz. It was such a treat & warm welcome to guests! If I could, I would have loved to sit in the reading room off to the side of the foyer and listen for a bit. However, we had a Spa Day to get to, which I also very much wanted to enjoy! Upon arriving to the spa, we were greeted by an amazing hostess. She gave us a quick tour of the facilities (lockers, reading room, showers, bathrooms, steam room, sauna and lounging room) before taking us back to the lockers and setting us up with our robes and flip flops. We had about 30 minutes before our massages and chose to go to the lounging room, where we enjoyed a spritzer, macaroons, chocolate and other fun snacks. It was very relaxing! Once our massage therapists were ready for us, they came and scooped us up. My friends and I did couple massages because why not! The couple massage rooms were spacious that I honestly felt like I was alone the whole massage. The beds were super comfortable, heat and height adjustable. Whenever my massage therapist was moving the bed, I felt nothing. It was like I was on a cloud or magic carpet! Super cool. The massage was absolutely stunning as well. Three of us had a regular massage, while one of us had a maternity massage. Everyone raved about their experience! In fact, I'd say we were each in a bit of daze afterwards. So why the four stars and not five? The four stars happened upon checking out. We had called the St. Regis Spa months in advance to plan our day. At the time, we were quoted an amount that in reality was not correct. When we asked the staff member about this, she had no answer for us... just that we'd been misquoted. There wasn't even an apology for the mishap. This seemed shady to me, and we all felt a little taken advantage of, but of course, we were not going to argue with the staff after experiencing the facility. We'd had a lovely time and did not want it to taint our day! Advice: I'd say for anyone looking to have a Spa Day here: write down your quote and who you talked to. I may even ask for a quote of the Spa Day to be sent to you. Then, I'd bring the quote with you just to make sure you're getting the deal you signed up for. read more

I hate valet parking in general. But the worst experience I've had in years was at the St Regis on Saturday night. This is a review of the valet parking. The event we attended was fine. Drinks, hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dancing for 250 people. I would have parked in the hotel's self park garage, but my wife was wearing heels and I wanted to deliver her to the front door. When we arrived it took 5-10 minutes to get one of the valets to actually take the keys and give me the green ticket. Ok, I thought, it's crowded. But then when we left and I gave my ticket to the gentleman in charge we waited. And waited and waited. Loads of elegant people arrived and departed. We waited. I asked one of the attendants if there was a problem. Then we waited some more. People who had come way after us had gotten their cars so I asked again. And then we waited. Finally my car arrived. I've stayed here dozens of times over the past decade. I've never written a review. Great hotel, great staff and great amenities. This past Saturday I checked in and Nora helped me check in very professionally and expeditiously. She asked me what brought me to town. I told her a memorial service and funeral of a close friend. She several times expressed her sympathy in a personal but professional manner. I thanked her repeatedly and moved on. There was a line growing behind me. An hour later a tap at the door announcing "room service" jolted me awake and as I was at a certain level of membership I thought it was the usual nice welcoming amenity. It wasn't. It was a very very nice bottle of wine and an incredibly thoughtful and empathetic note from Nora. I've attached it to. So no hotel is perfect even the five star ones. But an employee taking the time to send a gift and a wonderful note like this surely is. Thanks to Nora. Thanks to the St Regis ATL. This St Regis Hotels is beautiful. The rooms are very nice. The pool is underwhelming in size, but the staff there is just lovely. Unfortunately, the valets are rude and careless... they almost hit my pregnant friend trying to back a Rolls into the center spot to show it off. Someone had to shove her out of the way. The car was clearly more important than their guest. REALLY TACKY. We had high tea during our stay and it was wonderful. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was gorgeous and delicious. Disclaimer, this review is for the seasonal ice skating rink at st.regis. The idea of having a semi private rink to skate is ideal, but comes with a steep price. With tax and administrative cost, it was $40 per person. Wasn't worth it for my husband who only skated for 15 minutes before calling it quits. And the main audience for this are the parents with little kids to do a photo op of them. They probably didn't appreciate me circling around photoboming their pics haha. I definitely used up the whole hour that was allotted based on my reservation time. Couple things to note, I wouldn't recommend the first hour slot since they just leveled the ice so it was hard to skate initially. Not sure what they're called but they have these training boxes that your kids can push around on ice to prevent falls. Pretty useful so that your kids can actually enjoy skating. Lastly, the rink is quite smaller than I had expected that when I was making circles, pretty sure I was in every frame of the parents pics, but again good for kids to do as a winter activity. read more

I had a Chai tea which is my favorite and my friend had a delicious decaffeinated tea. Now on to the main event. A four tiered tray arrived with delectable delights that included all very fresh sandwiches and desserts to share. You have to see it to believe it! I've been to the high tea at the Victorian Hotel in Vancouver which set the bar very high for me until I experienced the high tea at the St Regis of Atlanta! Over the top! Brought a client in today for "High Tea." Do you know what $70 each, plus tax and gratuity, gets you? Dried stale bread on every single sandwich, god-awful massively large stale scones that get mess everywhere that belong in a Starbucks not at a tea, food that was clearly made days ago bearing no resemblance to fresh, negligible filling in the sandwiches, nasty perfumey flavored teas designed for non-tea drinkers, what appears to be grocery store boxed cookies, tiny side dishes of cream and lemon curd, and overall a very small portion for each guest. The attached pic is the entirety of $140 worth of food for two people, yes really. You know what it doesn't get you? A spoon to eat desserts unless you ask, a clean plate between courses unless you ask, or a fresh pot of tea unless you ask, or in general anything like an attentive server. What an overpriced poor quality experience. You'd do better hitting a free buffet at a budget motel than this nonsense. Oh.... And don't go to the hair salon, the owner Pascal Bensimon was arrested by Fulton County in June for sexual battery of a minor and criminal charges are pending. If you Google him you'll see he was convicted of criminal theft in Colorado as well, stole a laptop from Kevin Costner who'd hired him to do hair at his wedding. Classy. read more

My review is for the spa. I called 2 weeks in advance called to book appointments for myself and my three sisters at the St. Regis spa. The woman who I spoke with on the phone took my name, phone number, email address, and the services that I requested to book and told me since it is a large party a manager would call me back to book. I called two days later and no one answers. I call again on Friday and leave a notice mail. The woman who called me back to had no record of my previous conversation and she's unable to accommodate all of the services we would like to book. A very disappointing and frustrating experience with the spa before even entering the building. We were very disappointed and ended up canceling our suite at the hotel and rebooking our stay and spa services at the Four Seasons. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Our original plans for our wedding were ruined by the COVID 19 pandemic. I contacted the St. Regis for an intimate, virtual ceremony and they were able to accommodate us. I was so thankful for their willingness to work with us, but then I was blown away by the service! We worked with Julia who was efficient about getting things arranged for us. We were shown around by T'loni and Sheila when we went to visit the site. All were very friendly. When our wedding day arrived, we were greeted warmly by Joseph who was working both valet and as the doorman. Natalia and Pia worked to get my dress steamed and decorated the room with roses and a congrats balloon sign. Preston was there for every need as the ceremony went on and even got a feature during our zoom wedding when he used the sword to open the champagne. As you can see, I picked up a few names because they were all so pleasant and nice. We stayed for two nights, and the staff took every opportunity to make our stay more comfortable. My husband and I are forever grateful that we had this sweet experience in the middle of what felt like chaos. The St. Regis will forever hold a special place in our hearts! read more
