Since my clothes always look sharp I'm always sharp and on point! From making me look great to something as simple as adding velcro to names tapes, the quality and price has always been the best! I had my wedding dress altered here as well as a bridesmaid dress. I had a great experience both times. My wedding dress needed bustles added, straps and to be shortened. The bridesmaid dress just needed the length shortened. For both dresses, I had a good experience and the dresses were altered quickly. It is pricey but I do think that the customer service, quick turnaround, and final product is worth it. I do plan on returning if I need something altered in the future. read more

Kim's Alterations really saved me when I needed some (VERY) last minute alterations done. As usual, I had procrastinated. I was desperate to find someone who could alter a multi-layer formal dress for me in less than a week. I called Kim's and was told that they could get it done quickly but would charge a $25 rush fee. I felt that was reasonable! Though Kim's was a bit of a drive south, it was well worth it. Kim's shop is quaint and adorable. Not to mention, she does great work! I posted a review last month about the poor quality job Kim's Alterations did when hemming a pair of slacks for me. I took them back to have them "redone" because so many stitches were skipped on the hem. The slacks were absolutely no better when I picked them up the second time. I would definitely not recommend this establishment. read more

The work they did on my grandma's 1957 wedding dress blew me out of the water. There wasn't much extra material to work with and somehow they were able to find enough seams to let out and it looks identical to how I dropped it off. This is the only place I trust to do great work. read more

Below is the same review I left on Google over a year ago before I relocated to another city, and if you're looking for more reviews, I'd check over there. --- Just needed a pair of pants hemmed. During the pinning process I was being very picky about what length I wanted, but Kim stayed professional and didn't rush me at all. The actual wait time while she was in the back sewing went by fast. I just watched whatever was on the TV in the waiting area. There was free coffee and tea too if that's your thing. When she finished, she let me try my pants on one last time to make sure I was absolutely happy with her work, and she even ironed them even though I didn't ask for it. The service is cheap and fast, the space is welcoming, and the owner is very friendly and does a good job. read more
