I hate spending a lot of money on a haircut because I have thin hair to begin with and don't usually do much with it. I also have issues with finding someone I trust with my hair so usually just have my husband give me a quick trim. But it was getting to the point where it was uneven and unmanageable so I needed to bring a professional in. But being on a budget and just needing a few inches taken off, I decided to give Great Clips a shot since it's within walking distance of my house. I showed up on a weekday and there were 3 people in front of me waiting for walk-in cuts. There were two ladies working so I waited less than 30 minutes. I later found out I could have checked in online and put my name on the list before even getting to the shop which would have saved a little time. I can't remember her name, but the stylist who gave me a trim was efficient and did a good job with my layers and listening to what I wanted, careful not to take too much off. I showed up freshly showered with washed hair so I saved $10 on the shampoo. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. They also have a rewards program and every 7th haircut is free!
