I'm only leaving one star due to their payment of my dog's medical bills and pain medicine…read more I have waited almost 2 months to post this because I dread posting negative reviews of places. However, it comes down to whether the basic needs of my dog were met. I wanted to be as factual as possible, so I wrote this and then left it to come back and edit when I felt I was more removed from the situation. On Sunday, 17 March, 2019 my one of my two dogs was lost by this facility. I was called at 2pm that day, however when I asked, my dog went missing around 8am earlier that morning. When asked why I wasn't called, I was given the answer that they thought they could get him and they thought I couldn't make it as they assumed I was away for business. I was not. I was visiting my boyfriend in Savannah and although I stated that I may not be able to get back in time to pick him up that evening when asking if they could stay an extra night it was because I was considering staying a few hours longer and wouldn't make it before closing. However, I messaged the day prior asking to see if I needed to leave that same day. I don't think that my reasons for wanting them to stay longer correlate to an excuse for not calling me immediately. My dog was last seen at around the time they called. Had I been called immediately, I would most likely have had him home that night. They say the first 24 hours are the most crucial and by the time I was able to get up there (after leaving immediately following the call), I was left with little more than 12. I was told they continued searching. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they did. I saw them that first night but none of the following nights that I was searching. I posted flyers, left work every day immediately, and started searching. I only found him due to flyers I handed out. One of which a Sheriff so kindly disseminated upon my request. A Sheriff called me on her way into work where she identified him and I picked him up. Yes. I was gone and was considering leaving him longer. No that does not excuse calling me 6 hours later. Yes. My dog jumped the fence. No that does not excuse lack of supervision or lack of secure boarding. My dog has since been at another facility where they never leave him alone and called me immediately following his attempt to jump a 4 foot fence. (Note that says attempt.) They've managed to keep him secured. No. I did not have to pay for boarding. No. I did not have to pay for his vet bills. But at the end of the day, did they take care of my dog's basic needs/are they a facility I'd leave my babies at? No.

    - stars. I've waited about putting a review because I was told somebody would be in touch with me…read more And I think I've waited long enough. On 5/17 / 2026(Sun.) I took my outside cat Rusty to Magnolia. Rusty is 5 and got sick suddenly. He was diagnosed with Flutd. They begin treatment at once. I paid over 1800. that day. Yes I took my chances I knew he could get another blockage. Monday morning they called he was doing lots better. I called Monday night he was the same. Tuesday they called he was still doing good but I was told it would most likely be Wednesday when he could be picked up so they could make sure. Wednesday at 6, I called them. They said oh we were just going to call you can pick him up he's doing great. I wondered why the change but since they said to pick him up I did. When I picked him up he was so still and didn't act a lot better but I thought it was medicine or whatever. The next day (Wednesday) he was still the same just out of it. He ate and drank very little. Early the next morning (Thursday) I took him local to the vet. He was so very sick. And yes he was blocked again. But they questioned why was he sent home so quickly? They also talked about the price I paid and him not being alert when he was picked up. I have no idea either because I told Magnolia on the Tuesday I would rather them keep him if he needed it. Local vet was not sure if Rusty would make it or not but I told them I would try once more. On Friday afternoon he was doing so well when i went to I see him. Up and about and everything. Rusty stayed for 5 nights to make sure everything was working like it should and he was eating and drinking. I picked him up and he came home and was a completely different cat than when he was picked up at Magnolia. And yes they should have known he didn't need to come home.. my bill at Magnolia was a total of $2,127.41 for two nights, my bill at other vet was for over five nights was $830.00. You tell me that bill of Magnolia is logical. Yes should it be more yes but not that much. 2 nights care vs 5 nights and bringing home a cat that was clearly wasn't well. Picture of Rusty at local vet Thursday and then the next day Friday.
