We usually have to wait at least a week (sometimes longer) for meds (compound Tylenol) to be filled and I was unaware that this was routine. I left a review because I thought that we were regularly having a hard time filling compounded Tylenol. No one ever explained to us that there was another step required beyond our doctor sending over the prescription. We simply did not know. That lack of knowledge on our part lead to a negative review. It was a negative review so they called us. Ashley was immediately confrontational on the phone and called me abusive, although she was the one berating me. That being said, Ashley was absolutely cruel and callous over the phone, even taunting us "Goodluck" getting our meds and laughing for us to have. "Merry Christmas. Hahaha (a wild thing for a pharmacist to do) and hung up on me. All wildly unprofessional. I even called her back and attempted to reconcile although her behavior was abhorrent. It clearly did not work hence this second review. This is no laughing matter. Just kind of sad honestly. The other woman there seemed very nice. We will have to find a new place and I suppose that is what is best. Their management needs training. That's the bottom line. Disappointed more than anything. There are other compounding pharmacies. We will be fine. I wish them well, and thank them for their guidance after the fact and for the good luck wishes! read more

I am very grateful for Kim's Pharmacy. The staff make all the difference. I came from a larger town and had an important medicine compounded to exclude an allergen that is included in commercial preparations. Kim's took over providing this special compound for me without missing a beat. I have been gradually moving all my prescriptions to Kim's, even though I have been going to the same commercial/chain drug store for decades. There is no difference in the price of regular prescriptions to the chain stores, so why not opt for the personal touch? If you're always in a hurry, or only refill your meds when you're completely out, or you like to peruse the various and sundry items typically found in the retail sections of drug stores... Kim's isn't that. Kim's is a solid health and well being community support system. The drive through check out is incredibly convenient, and it's nice to get off of the hustle & bustle of Russ Avenue or Main Street. read more

I have a dog with Addison's disease. She HAS to get a small dose of liquid prednisone daily and a shot every 28 days. My vet quit keeping prednisone on hand last year and started sending the refill to Kim's. The first time I was only given a tiny amount which lasted about a month, then I was told I must be dosing her wrong to be out of it so soon. Well, they filled 4mg instead of 10 mg. Got that straightneed out. They have 2-3 days wait on compounded scripts. I call ahead to my vet, then Kim's tells me they don't have the order. The vets office showed me the transmissions where the order was placed a week ago and the pharmacy claims they didn't get it. Again. I ran out this time,and was told it would be Friday after 5 before it would be ready. Again, I am out of this medicine now. So, out of desperation I changed vets And I love the vet I am leaving. Praying the new vet doesn't decide I need to go to Kim's. read more

Wonderful customer service. Small, privately owned drugstore. The inventory is low but the pharmacy service is great and they also do compounding for special handmade prescriptions. Do you have a patient who has a problem taking pills, well they ca make it into a liquid to help! The pharmacy works well with insurance and doctors to get your prescription approved and refilled. They also have a service that combines all your medicines so that you can make only one visit instead of several! read more

These people are utterly unremarkable. Called in a compound prescription two days in advance. Drove half an hour to pick it up and it wasn't ready, plus they had the prescription wrong....cream Instead of trophies. If you use these people for anything critical, double check everything....especially MG dosing...a decimal point is critical. Wasted a total of an hour and 15 minutes dealing with this poorly managed pharmacy. read more
