After doing some research, we contacted Mr. Sandless and couldn't be happier. They were flexible and able to schedule before our furniture arrived. The sand-free process took one day, and the two men who did it were friendly and polite. The price was right too; ~$750 for our 400 square foot downstairs, compared to thousands (and several days) for the sand method. Prior to the re-finishing, there was one spot near our front door where the finish had all been worn away. They were able to cover it up well, and while it will ultimately need sanding to completely blend, it is barely noticeable and now protected from the elements. The other great thing is their work comes with a 5 year warranty! We highly recommend Mr. Sandless and their team of skilled flooring experts to finish your floors.

They say they are BBB certified and using the BBB arbitration process- I called BBB said they have never heard of them, and do not follow such a process with non-members. The process is really equivalent to industrial grade mop n glow you get at the HD for $100.00. Save your money and risk not having a good refinish and use a full service hardwood refinished who can rebuff the floor and declare with poly, and then do a real refinish at $1-2$/per sq ft. These yahoos cost me $3k, all they had to say was their process wouldn't guarantee results for my floors and own the additional damage their stripper did to my floors! Run don't walk.

The contractors who did the drywall and plastering inside my home didn't cover any of my remaining furniture, appliances or floors and left a mess. My wood floors were a light brown natural color. I called Mr. Sandless in Boardman, OH and the owner Jon was on it like a rocket!!! Quick and fast! I sent him a late message after the completion that said, "I received your email about the floors and care plan. I am more than thrilled with the new floor finish!!!! The look and color is so beautiful! Your crew did more than satisfactory work and in fact they did an outstanding job! I appreciate you coming through. I am at ease that everything is jelling and coming together I felt like I was walking into a new home". I selected the honey for the finish and I am so glad I dis and changed the color. The finish is super shiny in some spots and very dull in others. Absolutely horrible! I hate the them! they looked better before. He said he was going to give me some money back and never did. He was very hard to communicate with. He seemed to get mad if you didn't like what he said. He was not open to fixing anything. He broke my ceiling fan and door twice! The third time I had him just drop it off. Even though I already PAID him to do the door. I could not risk him breaking it AGAIN! He said to me that it should not have been this bad however he never followed though with his word. I told him I was going to leave a bad review he did not care. He just left. I will never recommend this company. They lie and do horrible work. They caused more work to be done with their careless action and no regard.

We had a moderate amount of scratches and dents but overall, they were not in terrible shape.... but definitely needed a refresh. Shane spent a lot of time with us, discussing our areas of concern as well as the color (that we considered changing). With his help, we decided against a drastic color change. He suggested adding a small amount of added chestnut stain to the process, that would make them less orange and more rich in tone. The one day process was as described. We removed all furniture, rugs and stuff from the floors prior to his morning arrival. We were allowed back in (wearing socks) at 7pm that evening. There was no overpowering smell, just a citrus ish scent that dissipated just fine with a window cracked open for a day or so. We are very pleased with the results. The color is outstanding and I am constantly exclaiming "the floor is so beautiful!"
